"What is in your little brain?"
Looking at the pondering Nicole, Samuel couldn't help but stretch out two fingers and tap her forehead,
causing Nicole to protest.
"It hurts. Do you take me as Zoe?"
Nicole pouted, making Samuel want to kiss her.
As Samuel thought so, he did it.
He suddenly kissed Nicole, Nicole was so surprised that she hurriedly grabbed his collar and panted.
With this interruption, Nicole forgot what Samuel said about Ballard.
When they got home, the children were already asleep.
Nicole was urged to take a shower. When she returned to bed, she realized the burning desire in
Samuel's eyes. She coughed before saying, "I'm tired."
Samuel chuckled.
Was she frightened by him today?
"Come here."
He waved at Nicole.
"No."
Nicole firmly shook her head and stayed put.
Her body was still aching.
Samuel was totally a monster in the bed. Nicole's legs were weak as she thought of the sex with him.
Samuel looked at her amusedly and said, "I won't do that today."
"Really?"
Nicole's face was filled with suspicion.
Samuel didn't bother to talk nonsense with Nicole. He stretched out his long arm and pulled her into his
arms.
"No! Samuel, stop!"
Nicole struggled as she heard Samuel chuckle and say, "Shut up and sleep. I don't mind doing
something else to you if your spirit is so high."
At the sound of it, Nicole shut her mouth.
She was obediently lying in Samuel's arms. She didn't think she could easily fall asleep, but conversely,
she was asleep very soon.
Samuel felt a little depressed when he heard her steady breath.
Wasn't she worried?
Wasn't she feared?
This dubious woman!
Samuel kissed Nicole's face and then closed his eyes and fell asleep.
It was a good night.
The next morning, Zoe, Lucas and Joseph woke up very early. Especially Zoe, without any respect to
her father, came knocking on Samuel's door.
"Daddy, Mommy, rise and shine! Get up and go out for fun."
The children's greatest wish was to play.
Knowing that they were going out today, Zoe did not sleep well all night. She got up and checked the
clock from time to time, feeling that the time passed so slowly.
This was the first time her whole family would go together on a trip!
Samuel's eyes narrowed slightly, and when he opened them, he was obviously furious. His eyes were a
little scarlet from being woken up, and he even had the urge to throw away the little girl at the door.
At this moment, Nicole reached out and held his big hands. A soft voice rang out in his ears.
"Is that Zoe? Why did she get up so early today?"
Nicole yawned, her voice soft, which calmed down the restlessness and violence in Samuel's heart.
Fierceness gradually faded away from his eyes.
It was Zoe.
His little baby girl.
Samuel shook his head and laughed. He whispered, "Catch up on your sleep. I'll pull her away and see
if breakfast is ready."
Nicole was exhausted yesterday. Although they didn't have sex last night, she did not have enough
sleep and now she felt like catching up on her sleep.
She rolled over and said in a daze, "Hurry up and go. I can't keep my eyes open."
With that, Nicole fell asleep in front of Samuel without any scruples.
Samuel shook his head and laughed. He reluctantly got out of bed. As soon as he opened the door, he
picked up Zoe with one hand.
"Daddy, is Mommy still sleeping? Quickly wake her up. We're leaving..."
With his big hand covering Zoe's mouth, Samuel stopped her from babbling. At the same time, he
closed the door and carried Zoe away.
"Let your mommy sleep a little longer."
Samuel's voice was low, but it carried a trace of pressure.
Zoe pouted and said, "It's already six in the morning. Mommy is still sleeping. Aren't we going on a
trip?"
"That little time won't hurt. Stop messing around. Your mommy is very tired."
Lucas immediately glanced over, his eyes carrying a trace of disdain.
This brat!
Samuel did not care. He put Zoe on a chair at a side. Looking at his little girl and boys, Samuel said,
"Since you are so energetic, come with me to run."
"No!"
Zoe refused at once.
'Are you kidding? I didn't get up so early to go running with Daddy.'
Lucas and Joseph didn't reject. And they went out for a run with Samuel.
Before leaving, Samuel said to Zoe, "Don't wake up your mommy. Otherwise, I will spank you."
"Daddy, you don't love me anymore."
Zoe felt that she was no longer the only baby girl in the family.
In the past, Samuel would hurriedly pacify her as she felt sad, but today, he just said indifferently, "I
love my wife. Is there anything wrong?"
Zoe was struck.
'I am not Daddy's baby anymore.'
'He changed so fast.'
'I'm so sad!'
However, Samuel did not seem to notice Zoe's pitiful look. He said to the servant aside, "If Nicole
wakes up because of Zoe, you will be fired."
Hearing that, Zoe twitched her lips again.
Was she such a trouble?
Lucas and Joseph couldn't stand by anymore.
"Samuel, as an adult, how can you bully a little girl? Don't you feel shameful?"
"Daddy, Zoe didn't do it on purpose."
Lucas and Joseph spoke at the same time, but Samuel replied indifferently, "You spoiled her too
much."
The two boys were immediately aggrieved.
Who was the one pampering Zoe the most?
Did Samuel dare to say it again?
Seeing the disdain in Lucas' eyes, Samuel said indifferently, "Don't stare at me. No matter how much
you look at me, I am still your daddy. Hurry up and prepare for the run."
"Tyrant."
"Hypocrite."
Lucas and Joseph spoke again. Samuel narrowed his eyes.
Were these two brats in need of a lesson?
Samuel took his two boys to run. Zoe sat in the living room, bored. Just as she was about to walk
towards Nicole's room, the servant got in the way. She asked with a smile, "Miss Zoe, what are you
going to do?"
"Leave me alone."
Zoe felt depressed.
'Daddy doesn't love me anymore.'
'So sad.'
Just as she was feeling sorry for herself, a melodious sound of violin came from outside.
Zoe paused and subconsciously walked outside.
"Miss Zoe, where are you going?"
Surprised, the servant quickly went after Zoe.
Zoe ignored her and walked out of the door.
The sound of violin came from the opposite villa. It was melodious and pleasant to hear.
Zoe sat at the door, propped up her chin and bobbed her toes within the rhythm of melody. Finally, she
heard out the melody.
Zoe lifted the corners of her lips when she heard another joyful melody.
That sounded good.
Armand opened the window after playing two songs. He wanted to get some fresh air. All of a sudden,
he saw a familiar figure.
Zoe?
He suspected that his eyes were tricking him, then he rubbed them hard. After affirming that it was Zoe,
Armand ran out barefoot.
"Zoe!"
Armand was rarely emotional. The excitement on his face took his servant aback.
"Mr. Armand, you haven't put on your shoes. Mr. Armand!"
Armand did not listen to the servant at all. He just ran towards Zoe.
The two villas were separated by a road.
After hearing out two songs, Zoe got up, feeling refreshed.
"Come on. Time for breakfast. The melody of violin sounds good. I'm going to tell Mommy I want to
learn it."
With that, Zoe turned around and entered the villa. The servant closed the door.
Armand rushed over, but the door was tightly shut.
He hurriedly knocked on the door.
"Zoe, is that you?"
Armand knocked on the door and the servant came.
She opened the door and saw Armand standing barefoot in front of the villa. She asked doubtfully,
"Who are you looking for?"
"Zoe Green."
Armand was panting because he ran too quickly just now.
The servant had been told not to reveal her master's information to outsiders. With a gloomy face, she
said, "What Green? Here lives the Bush family. Boy, I'm afraid you've mistaken."
Armand paused.
Bush?
His passion was crushed.
That was right, Zoe's home was in the Seapolis City. How could she appear here?
Was he really mistaken?
But that girl really looked like Zoe.
"Sorry, I was rude."
Armand apologized and turned around in disappointment.
The soles of his feet were broken and blood oozed out, making the servant feel a little worried.
"Boy, I'll get you a pair of slippers."
"No need. Thank you."
Armand was listless. He was very down.
He walked back to his villa.
Zoe did not know about this. She felt a little hungry after coming in.
"Claudina, is there anything to eat?"
"Yes. Miss Zoe, what would you like for breakfast? Steamed buns? Noodles? Dumplings? Fried dough
sticks or soybean milk?"
Claudina didn't know what Zoe liked, so she prepared everything that she could think of.
After enjoying two beautiful songs, Zoe was in a good mood. She smiled and replied, "Steamed buns."
"Sure."
Claudina quickly served some seamed buns, which were in the shape of rabbits, instantly arousing
Zoe's appetite.
"Rabbit buns?"
"Yes, Miss Zoe, you could call them like that."
Zoe's smile was very infectious and immediately made Claudina and other servants laugh.
Nicole woke up from their laughter.
Samuel was no longer in the bed.
She yawned and opened the bedroom door. She saw Zoe giggling in the dining room. Claudina and
other servants were also happy.
A warm feeling filled Nicole.
This felt good.
"What are you talking about? Why are you so happy?"
Nicole walked over, pulled up a chair and sat down.
"Mommy, let me tell you, Claudina's bun looks like a rabbit. I call it a rabbit bun."
"Really? Then you should have more."
For a little girl, her world was so simple that a good-looking bun could get her happy.
Zoe hurriedly lowered her head to eat.
Nicole looked around as if she was looking for someone.
Claudina hurriedly said, "Mr. Samuel took Mr. Lucas and Mr. Joseph out for a run."
"Okay."
Nicole then rested assured. Just as she was about to say something, a sad piano tune rang
out.
