knew that Penny was under house arrest, for fear of her disturbing them.
Yasmeen felt that she was extremely lucky for having such a mother-in-law, but...
She looked at the text message on her phone, then looked in the direction of the ward. She quickly
walked out of the hospital afterward, and drove out as soon as she hopped in.
Lucas opened his eyes immediately after Yasmeen left.
He got up and stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching Yasmeen's car speeding in the
street. His beautiful eyes narrowed slightly, and confusion passed through his eyes.
Yasmeen is gone.
She left suddenly just like this, without a reason nor a word.
When Michele learned from the customs that Yasmeen returned to her homeland through customs that
night, she was furious.
She came to Lucas's ward with Edison.
With a book in his hand, Lucas read happily, as if there was no big deal about Yasmeen's leaving. But
