Tony didn’t expect that a woman who had just failed her marriage would be so sensitive about such
kind of details. He was sort of impressed by Olivia.
“I suppose the rumors are true. You are too smart to be seen as a trophy wife.”
“Stop changing the topic. Answer my question.”
This was why she came to see Tony behind Nicole’s back.
She didn’t know Tony that well. It was all because she bumped into him when she had just found out
that the nourishment her assistant gave her had something else in it.
At that time, he suggested that she should shift the medicine and make Julissa pay for it. Olivia had the
medicine examined and it wouldn’t do much harm to her body. She had got nothing to lose so she
accepted his offer.
She thought this was just between the two of them and Tony made her believe the reason why he
wanted to test his medicine. Whatever reason that was, she didn’t care anymore.
But this morning, she woke up and saw the message he sent her that he would be waiting for her in the
southern suburban area. At that moment, she became suspicious.
That was why she didn’t tell Nicole who gave her the medicine. She wanted to find out whether she
would bring disaster to Nicole and Samuel first. As for Davon, she just guessed that he might be
involved.
“You know the relationship between Nicole and Davon?”
Olivia squinted her eyes.
Tony paused for a moment and stopped smiling. He said in a low voice, “You’re smart. But aren’t you
afraid that I might kill you if I’m really onto those people?”
“I don’t give a crap about death. But if I die, you won’t be able to make it out of here. Though I haven’t
told her who gave me the medicine, she will find out who you are in a blink of the eye.”
“You seem okay with it. But you will be long gone when that happens. Even if they find out, what can
they do? Davon is not good enough to bring the dead back to life, is he?”
Hearing that, Olivia knew who he was coming for.
He used the medicine as a trap to draw Davon’s attention?
But how could he know the relationship between Davon and Nicole?
And how could he know Davon would agree to give her treatment?
Olivia was thinking fast. She said, “My life doesn’t matter anymore. Now that my husband betrayed me
and I failed my Marriage, death might be a relief that can solve all my problems.”
Tony started to frown.
“Olivia, did anyone tell you that smart women are not likable.”
“No, but I don’t intend to delight any other man. So I don’t care if anyone doesn’t like me. Tony, your
target is Davon, right?”
This time Davon didn’t say no.
He was still chewing that straw and stopped pretending to be so casual. He looked more like a childe.
“Who are you?”
“Don’t be so curious about me. You might fall in love.”
Olivia rolled her eyes.
“Rest assured. Even if you are the last man on earth, I will never fall in love with you. You’re not my
type.”
“You are confident. I’m a little embarrassed now.”
Tony returned to his devil-may-care attitude.
Olivia could see that he didn’t want to say much about himself and she didn’t bother to ask. She said,
“Don’t ever think about using me to get to Nicole and her family. I don’t care whether you helped me or
not, I will kill you if you do that.”
“So cruel.”
“Well, you’re almost a stranger to me and Nicole is like a sister to me for life. I will protect her with my
life. Her family is my family.”
Tony narrowed his eyes hearing that.
Sister for life?
This woman was dumb.
But he still smiled and said, “Did you forget that when you were in the grave, Davon left you all alone?”
“That’s between he and I. It’s none of your business and Nicole has nothing to do with it.”
Olivia got up and dusted the dirt on her. She aimed at Tony and the dirt went straight to his face.
“Olivia! You did that on purpose!”
Tony rolled over.
Olivia lifted her eyebrows and snorted, “Yeah, I did that on purpose. So what? You wanna hit me?”
She looked quite punchable.
She really needed to be taught a lesson.
At first, when he saw her so devastated, he was fooled by his friend and thought she was pathetic.
How could such a smart woman be pathetic?
Tony completely lost this game.
Olivia didn’t care about what he thought. She straight forward went to her car.
“Don’t contact me if nothing big happens. I don’t wanna see you for now.”
“Damn it! I’m the producer! Do you know how many people would flatter me? And you dare to say that
to me? Olivia, I spoiled you too much.”
“Phew, don’t say this kind of things. People would misunderstand.”
Olivia got in the car and sped up.
Tony was agitated and his anger had no way out.
Someone came up and stared as Olivia left. He said, “Why don’t you put something in her medicine
and make her behave? If so…”
“Piss off!”
He kicked him on the leg and that man fell on the ground. Tony seemed to be quite gloomy.
“I will never do such disgusting things. I have already crossed a boundary by using a woman to find
Davon. If you dare to lay a finger on her, bad things are gonna happen to you.”
Tony was intimidating.
That man lowered his head and didn’t dare say another word.
Tony was thinking deeply.
Would Davon notice there was someone wrong with the medicine?
If not, what about Olivia’s health?
Thinking that, Tony said hastily, “Tell them to make a medicine that can relieve the symptoms of the
risky poisonous component. It’s good for her.”
“Mr. Thompson, I think Mr. Davon will make that.”
“But what if he won’t? Years ago, he could ignore Olivia when she was in danger. He might not give her
treatment because they are not related after all. He might still ignore her even if she is Nicole’s friend. I
gave her the medicine and I don’t want her to really get hurt. The Thompson family would never do
such things. You want me to get punched by my dad?”
Tony was kind of gloomy now.
He really had thought little of that woman.
