"Amelia!"
Nicole quickly stepped forward and grabbed Amelia's arm. She asked angrily, "Did you let Aaron go?"
"Yes."
Amelia confessed.
In front of so many people, she admitted it so calmly, which stunned Nicole.
"Do you know what you're talking about? Do you know what you're doing? Amelia, you're Jarrod's
woman. What do you mean by doing this? Who told you to? Jarrod is still unconscious. Don't sling mud
at him."
Nicole could not understand why Amelia did this.
If she was a member of Aaron's team, she shouldn't have treated Jarrod so well. Moreover, when
Samuel and Nicole were in the ancestral hall, Amelia could talk to Aaron. Why did she pass up such a
good opportunity?
If she told Aaron that they were in the ancestral hall, both Samuel and Nicole would be caught.

Jarrod was still unconscious. No one knew when he would wake up. As his cheeks grew rosy, he
looked much more handsome.
Amelia sat beside him with a heavy heart.
She gently stroked Jarrod's face as she whispered, "You'll blame me too, won't you? You also think I'm
working for Aaron, don't you? Jarrod, when will you wake up? I want you to wake up, but I'm afraid that
you wake up. Maybe I shouldn't have fallen in love with you. But I'm doomed. I have thought of leaving
you, but if I leave, you may be even sadder. After all, I am your only family.
As she spoke, Amelia's eyes turned a little red.

She had thought of killing Jarrod to avenge her family, but Jarrod treated her so well that she couldn't
do it and almost forgot what she was. Eight Trigrams Formation reminded her of the whole story,
including who killed her family and why she was given to Jarrod as a present at his bar mitzvah.
It was only because she was a Conley.
The Conley family was an ancient family. The ancestor left behind an ancient book of formations. All
the Conleys could learn. However, as the society developed, the Conleys thought the formation was of
little use to them, so they forgot the book. Only Amelia had been interested in that book since she was
