Yasmeen was the first to react, and she was very emotional.
She held Lucas’ hands tightly while her heart was in a frenzy.

She initially thought that she would not be worthy of Lucas, but now that she heard it from him about

Her mother felt so sorry for her daughter that tears began to fall.
She turned around and warned Lucas, “Stop provoking her, will you? She has just returned from
death’s door, and her body is still weak. I know that you can understand me because you keep staring
at my lips. You can understand me by reading my lips, right? You have the right to your marriage, but
don’t you think my daughter has that same right too?”
Yasmeen suddenly felt a little angry. A while ago, her sympathy and compassion towards this mother
and daughter tandem was now replaced by her fury. She wanted to say something, but she was
pinched hard by Lucas at this moment.

man was simply a careless, foolish soldier.

future. This Lucas in front of them couldn’t have been older than twenty something years old, and it

weight of Lucas’ name and they didn’t even take it to heart.

Her mother immediately flipped.
Penny still wanted to say something, but she was stopped by her mother.
Lucas didn’t say anything more as he held Yasmeen’s hands and the two left.
It was only at this moment that Yasmeen finally understood the sticky nature of this situation.
Furthermore, Lucas had said that his military rank was going to be stripped. He couldn’t even be a
reserve anymore in his life, and this was even worse than killing him.
Nobody understood Lucas’ passion for military better than Yasmeen.

They didn’t even go through the confession of love phase, yet they were already kissing now?

Lucas was a little nervous under the huge stare of her eyes.
God knew how much of a courage he must have mustered to be able to do this.
Why did this woman lack so much in the woman’s sense department?
Yasmeen was able to gather her senses again after hearing Lucas’ hoarse voice, and when she finally
made sure of what he was doing to her, a slow, warm current spread out in her heart.
“Why did you kiss me?”
She suddenly asked.

Lucas immediately felt deflated.

His lust was slowly dissipating, but all of a sudden Yasmeen hooked her arms around his neck and
then she tiptoed to press her warm lips onto his.

He suddenly felt amused by this, and most of his pent-up feelings were released.
He put his hand on Yasmeen’s waist and felt like he wanted to rub her so bad.
Yasmeen recalled Lucas strangling her not long ago and couldn’t help but extend her tongue further
