“Joseph, what are you doing?”
Julian still had a great expectation of his son without concerning how Mr. Frye treated this child. It was
just because that the child was his own son. So, Julian raised him with care. As soon as he entered the
room and saw Joseph putting his hand on the child’s kidney, he rushed towards Joseph anxiously and
wanted to beat him. However, Joseph said coldly, “Stand there if you don’t want him to die.”
“Don’t move!”
Mr. Frye could only obey Joseph’s command. He then scolded Julian after seeing that.
He did not show any respect to Julian at all. He scolded him loudly in front of Joseph even though
many bodyguards and subordinates were around. Julian’s eyes turned red and were filled with tears.
However, he still stopped moving and just watched Joseph pressing on the child’s body.
Joseph did not care what Julian thought of him. His face was slightly gloomy after examining the child
carefully.
“You guys should be mentally prepared. This child has multiple organ failures. Even if he gets a kidney
transplant, he may not be able to survive any longer.”
Mr. Frye was also anxious after hearing that.
“Dr. Green, I will do anything for you as long as you can save my grandson.”
As for Mr. Frye, his grandson was the most important person in his entire life.
Julian also became nervous and looked at Joseph while saying, “Dr. Green, it was my fault just now.
Don’t take it to heart. You can beat me or scold me if you want to release your anger, but please save
the poor child.”
Joseph was a doctor. Although he did not like Mr. Frye and Julian, still he was not that merciless to
harm such a young child.”
The child was innocent.

Joseph said calmly.

Joseph did not care how they would think as they could not do anything to him now anyway. After all,
he was the last hope to save the child.
After examining the child just now, the child suffered a lot as Mr. Frye must have found many doctors to
treat him. However, those doctors were just unprofessional and this made the child suffer in pain.
Now, they had put high hopes on him but Joseph just remained calm.
Mr. Frye’s expression was grim but he did not dare to take action on him. He said angrily to the
bodyguard next to him, “Take Dr. Green to rest first.”
“Yes, sir.”
The bodyguards surrounded him immediately.
Was this an offer?
This was certainly threatening and imprisonment!
However, Joseph smiled and said indifferently, “You better think clearly. This child doesn’t have much
time left.”
Joseph walked out directly after saying that.
Lucas could see clearly that Joseph was under arrest.
He quickly searched the screen for Joseph’s location. After a while, he managed to find out the
location. However, the location stopped appearing on the screen due to signal loss.
It seemed that the signal in Joseph’s room was blocked.
Lucas quickly got up and was about to go out. However, he was stopped by the bodyguard at the door.
“Sir, you can’t go out.”
“Go away!”
Lucas knew Joseph’s combat strength. However, he was worried about him and could not just ignore
his danger.
Now, he still did not know what Mr. Frye would do to Joseph. So, he could not just leave him
unattended.
The bodyguard was slightly afraid to fight with Lucas. However, the bodyguard said timidly while
recalling Joseph’s reminder, “Sir, Joseph has said that you can’t go out now. The people outside are
looking for you. You will be targeted if you go out now. Besides, you can only attract their attention if

He went back to his room and browsed online. Then, he contacted Edison.
“Have you found out anything about that issue?”
Edison said hurriedly while looking at the information he had just found out, “Yes, Mr. Frye’s name is
Sean Frye. He was a wanted criminal but had not been caught over the years. He was involved in arms
trafficking a long time ago. The arms trafficked were from our military zone.”
“Arms from our military zone? It’s impossible to get the arms out of the military zone without somebody
assisting him. Find out who is the one making deal with him, especially focus on Carlos Flores.”
Lucas could not help but frown as he thought of Nichole Flores.
Edison was slightly dumbfounded.
“Mr. Flores? Isn’t Victor from our troop the son of Mr. Flores?”
“Yes, it’s him.”
Lucas’s voice was somewhat deep.
He was upset as his close friend would probably turn out to be a sinner who betrayed the country and
opposed their faith.
Edison also kept quiet.
Lucas knew that his gun was altered by somebody when he was on a mission. He had never believed
that it was done by a person he had trusted. But now, Lucas had named the person so clearly that
everything had been revealed.
Lucas knew that Edison was soft-hearted. He understood that Edison was disappointed as Edison
remained silent there.
“Don’t mix the issue with your personal feelings. Sometimes, we have to face it.”
“Yes, boss.”
Although Lucas had retired, Edison still addressed him as boss. However, Lucas did not correct him
this time.
He looked at the sky outside and said in a low voice, “Edison, help me to make sure one thing.”
“What’s that?”
“Help me to investigate if my brother, Joseph has been assigned some kind of mission by Alexis. Or
perhaps if my brother has joined the national security bureau or something like that. You know that the
