Nicole was quite depressed.
She wondered why things had become like this.
She knew that Tim was quite upset because of Jacob’s matter, but they were trying to hide it from
Olivia for certain reasons.
They did that for Olivia’s belly and her mood.
Samuel directly lifted his leg and kicked Tim.
Tim was off-guard, staggering. He said in anger, “Who has the death wish? Who kicked me?”
“It’s me. What happened? You are so angry today, aren’t you? Come with me. Let’s go to the training
ground. And you, Tony! Come with me!”
Samuel directly called Tony and Tim. Then he rushed over and locked Tim’s neck, dragging him away.
Evelyn was a bit worried, but Nicole stopped her.
“Don’t worry, Evelyn. Samuel knows what he’s doing.”
Upon hearing her words, Evelyn felt relieved.
Tony wasn’t a coward, following them.
Olivia said in anger, “I just can’t understand. Why did Tim target me? Nicole, have I done anything to
offend him recently?”
“Don’t overthink. He’s drunk today,” Nicole hurriedly comforted her.
Evelyn had a migraine.
She knew her husband well -- he was a nice man but always acted recklessly. However, she also liked
him because of it.
In a hurry, Evelyn said, “Olivia, please don’t mind him. He might have early menopause.”
“Menopause? He’s less than forty!”
Olivia’s words amused Nicole. She still comforted her, “Some times, men’s menopause could move
up.”
Right after she finished speaking, Evelyn tugged her.
They were truly talking about nonsense.
Nicole pressed her lips.
Olivia was still upset.
“Why did he aim at me? What’s wrong with me?”
“Nothing! Just think he’s a psycho! But you do get along well Tony.”
Olivia felt frustrated because of Nicole’s words.
“Please don't mention it. It’s all because he experimented with my body. He thought I would have a
fever, but accidentally he has cured my cold. When I got pregnant, he became particularly worried that
the medicine was bad for the baby, so he always takes good care of me. Since you said we get along
well, it’s because that he has a good relationship with the baby in my belly. Whenever I went for the
prenatal examination, he would ask me for the report and look it through. He said he had to make sure
that the baby was okay. He said that if the baby had something, he would have an uneasy conscience
all his life. I’m also worried about my baby. If I had known that I could get pregnant after taking
medicine, I wouldn’t dare to use it. Now the medicine has not been certified. This is the only baby for
Jacob and me. If something really happens to it, I can’t imagine what will happen. So we have more
contact with each other now. He is a dandy with a poisonous mouth, but he is a nice man, so we can
be regarded as friends now.”
Upon hearing Olivia’s words, Evelyn and Nicole felt quite depressed.
That was true.
No one could guarantee what kind of reaction the baby in Olivia’s belly would have for the medicine’s
effect. Right now, all of them were gambling.
If Jacob hadn’t been to the overseas battlefield, they planned to convince Olivia to give up on the baby.
After all, there were so many unknown things. However, the baby was created under an unknown
circumstance and Jacob had gone to the overseas battlefield. Probably this baby would be his only
child. Hence, after keeping the baby, all of them were afraid that something would happen to it.
At the thought of it, Nicole believed that Tony was quite a man in this aspect.
They were quite down because of the matter between Tim and Tony. Particularly, Evelyn and Nicole
knew what had happened to Jacob, and they felt more depressed.
“All right. All right. You are both pregnant. Don’t just stand here. Let’s go inside and find somewhere to
sit. Those men were just too idle. After this, they probably could become good friends,” Nicole meddled
in.
Then she pulled the two women inside the hall.
On the training round, Tim disliked Tony to the core. Samuel stopped locking his neck, releasing
directly.
“If you two want to fight, you can start now. I’ll be your judge.”
“Fuck off!”
Tim was still furious.
He believed how deeply Olivia love Jacob, but he didn’t believe Tony at all.
Tony had been always around Olivia. Tim could clearly understand what his intention was.
No matter what, Jacob was his best buddy. Now he was fighting for the country on the battlefield, so
Tim wouldn’t allow another man to steal Jacob’s wife.
“Tony, if you are a man. You should fight with me. If you win, I won’t mind how you will get along with
Olivia Kent. If you lose, you should leave her alone!”
Tim’s words amused Tony.
“Who is Olivia to you? You sound as if I’m going to steal your wife. Why? Do you have a crush on her
but you don’t dare to confess, so you make me as an excuse?”
Tony was quite tough as well. He directly mocked Tim.
“Fuck!”
Tim rolled up his sleeves and threw a punch on Tony.
Tony wasn’t afraid at all. He immediately fought back.
Samuel smartly took a step back to avoid being impacted. However, he was quite surprised at Tony’s
moves.
He knew that kids from influential families all knew some defending skills, but Tony’s skills were more
than defense. Samuel felt that it was quite familiar.
The longer he watched them fight, the more familiar Samuel found Tony’s skills. Suddenly, he thought
of Davon.
He cursed inwardly.
It seemed Davon had taught all his kills to Tony. He truly treated Tony very well.
Tim was a bit taken aback. Secretly, he appreciated Tony’s skills.
Since he resigned from the military, except when he could practice with Samuel, no one else could fight
against him. Right now, Tony became his opponent, and Tim enjoyed it a lot.
He calmed down gradually. A sympathetic feeling surged in his heart.
Tony also felt that Tim became less murderous, but so what?
Tim had truly annoyed him.
Tony believed that Tim was so nosy, deserving to be beaten to death.
At the thought of that, Tony attacked him more fiercely.
Off-guard, Tim got a punch, which surprised him.
Samuel was afraid that they couldn’t fight all-out. He said in a steady tone, “Tim, don’t disgrace our
military region. If you can’t defeat a dandy, you’ll be a big shame.”
Tim took a deep breath after getting stimulated. He raised his fist and threw it on Tony.
His punch was quite violent, quite threatening.
Suddenly, a girl ran out from nowhere. She grabbed Tony’s hand and pulled him behind her. Then she
stood in front of him.
It was too late for Tim to withdrew his fist. He could only tilt it. However, the girl was still punched away
by Tim.
