"Mrs. Green!"
When Morgan heard the sound, she ran up to Nicole's room. Her face turned pale with fright because
she found Nicole was on the ground. She hurriedly asked someone for help. After Nicole was put onto
the bed, Morgan inserted the needles at some of her acupuncture points.
When Samuel heard the news, he quickly rushed back.
"What's going on?"
Nicole's face was pallid. Samuel looked at her nervously.
"I don't know. Mrs. Green suddenly came out and fainted."
Morgan's heart was beating wildly. Nicole was still weak. She did not know what could make Nicole put
her child in danger.
Samuel seemed to know the season.
Nicole must have got the news, he thought. When he knew what had happened to Davon, he was at a
loss. How was he supposed to tell her? However, he didn't expect her to be so excited.
"Is she alright now?"
Samuel put on a serious face.
Morgan took a deep breath and said, "Mrs. Green should be alright now. Recently, she has been
supplementing with her nutrition, so the child should be fine. But she can't go out for the first three
months."
Samuel did not know if Nicole could endure this. After all, Davon was the only boy of the Dons and
William had never seen his son before.
"Take good care of Nicole."
Samuel said. Then he got up and went to the study.
He made a call.
"What's going on with Davon? Where's Laurence and what happened to him? And what about Dr.
Miller?"
Samuel's cold voice was so scary.
"Mr. Green, the sanatorium is heavily guarded. We failed to sneak in. Our people are all dead. We have
no idea about what's going on inside."
"You haven't figured it out? Something has happened to Davon. Laurence hasn't contacted our people
and he disappeared. Now, you told me that you found nothing. What are you guys doing?"
Samuel knew that everyone had done their best. Their opponents were too powerful. Although he
usually fought with Davon, he hoped Davon would be safe. As for Laurence, he was their friend. Now if
Laurence knew he had become a killing machine, how painful would he be?
How about Phoenix? Was she all right?
Thinking of this, Samuel quickly called her.
When Phoenix saw Samuel's phone number, she paused. She didn't want to answer it, but she did,
because she didn't want Samuel to worry about her.
"Mr. Green."
Phoenix's voice was hoarse.
Samuel felt so bad.
"Phoenix, Davon might still be alive. I don't believe he died so easily. Be strong."
"Mr. Green, you don't have to comfort me. You weren't there. If you were there, you might not be able
to escape. Laurence went berserk. He was like a killing machine, and he was bloodthirsty and brutal.
He had no humanity at all. I know what you're trying to say. You want to tell me that he's unconscious?
But even if it was unintentional, so what? He killed my husband! Could it be that my husband and so
many people died in vain because of his honest mistake? Aren't they innocent?"
Phoenix couldn't believe this.
"How could this happen? Why? Didn't you make careful arrangements and make sure everything was
safe? Why would Laurence go berserk? If he couldn't be guaranteed to be normal, why not kill him? He
shouldn't appear in this operation!"
A series of questions broke Samuel's heart. He didn't know what to say to make Phoenix feel better.
Tears filled Phoenix's face. She cried hoarsely and said, "Mr. Green, do you know how much I love
him? I always thought that the person I loved was you. For so many years, there was a voice telling me
that someone was waiting for me. I thought the person was you. But when I recovered my memories, I
knew that he was Davon. He's been the only man that tempted me for so many years. But now he was
killed by Laurence. I know that Laurence is your friend and he even saved Nicole. But so what? Does
that mean Davon deserved to die? He tried so hard to return home and see his father, but now
everything is impossible. He's gone!"
Samuel suddenly felt as if his throat had been grabbed by something, and he felt extremely
uncomfortable.
Just as he hung up the phone, he got another call.
"Mr. Green, we don't know what's going on in the sanatorium, but Dr. Miller definitely didn't go abroad.
So it's not he that made Laurence go berserk."
"Then who is it? Any researcher from Country F?"
Samuel was very confident in his arrangements. But now, with Davon's death, his confidence was
somewhat ridiculous.
He then called Zayn.
"What did those researchers do to Laurence?"
"As far as I know, they did nothing special to him. They just got some blood from him and sent it away
for analysis. But the institute was destroyed. Laurence was arranged to go undercover so that he could
bring the news. No one knows why Laurence suddenly went berserk. The people I sent there were all
dead."
Zayn was also heartbroken. If he had not been the King, he would have personally gone to look for
Davon. Unfortunately, he could only send people to find him now.
Zayn sent many people. But the information they brought back was always worrying.
Samuel was puzzled.
Laurence would not go berserk easily. So what made it happen?
Samuel did not understand. However, finding Laurence's location was the most important now.
Lucas was not at home just now. When he came back, he felt that there was something wrong.

"Young Master, you're back. Mrs. Green fainted. She's fine now! Don't worry. Go to have a rest."
Morgan said to Lucas and went to the kitchen.

He walked over and put his little hand on Nicole's belly. He whispered, "Little baby, be good. Don't let

He didn't care if the child in Nicole's belly could hear him or not. Nicole was still asleep, so Lucas left
the room quietly and went to the study.
"Daddy, what happened?"
When Lucas saw Samuel frowning, he came forward and asked.
"Are you just back?"
"Yes, I go to see my former team member. There's a program that I can help with."
Lucas explained and then asked his question again.
"Did something happen? Why would Mommy faint?"
"Here's a strange thing. Can you help me find out where Uncle Laurence is?"
Samuel couldn't keep calm now. He not only needed to investigate the reason for Laurence's sudden
rage, but also he had to find out what had happened in the sanatorium as soon as possible.
Lucas nodded and quickly turned on the computer.
The red dot on the computer that linked Laurence's location disappeared. That was on purpose!
Lucas frowned slightly. Then he began to search for the tracks of the red dot. He discovered that it was
last seen at a place.
He quickly found that location. It was the Military Research Institute. In other words, something
happened to Laurence there.
No one knew what he had experienced and what had happened in the Military Research Institute.
Perhaps Laurence himself could not answer these questions now.
"Samuel, the red dot is last seen at the Military Research Institute."
Lucas told Samuel this.
Samuel nodded.
He planned to personally go to the sanatorium to see how it was. So many of his subordinates couldn't
get into it.
"Stay at home and take care of your mommy. Don't let her go out. I have to go now."
With this, he walked out.
Lucas said worriedly, "You haven't recovered yet. Will you be fine alone?"
"No big deal."
Samuel said and left.
Lucas still did not know what had happened. Nobody talked to him.
Everyone walked back and forth. They were busy with their things, but they look anxious.
When Lucas was about to go upstairs, he saw Cara coming back. She didn't look well.
"Auntie Cara, you're back?"
Lucas greeted.
Cara nodded in a trance. She quickly walked to Nicole's room but was stopped by Lucas.
"Auntie Cara, my mommy fainted just now. Please don't disturb her. Let her rest."
Hearing that, Cara stopped.
What should she do now?
She heard that something had happened to Laurence. Was it true?
Now that Nicole could not tell her, what about Samuel?
"Where's Mr. Green?"
"He is out. Now he is not at home."
Lucas rarely saw Cara like this, so he was getting uneasy.
"Auntie, is something wrong with Uncle Laurence?"
"You also know it?"
