Winnie did not want to see Brian, did not want to communicate with him, did not want to disturb his

quiet and happy life.

So she wanted to be perfunctory to Luke.

"Daddy's probably busy. It's a small competition, don't bother Daddy."

"You haven't called Daddy. How do you know Daddy is busy?"

Megan asked Mommy. She also hoped to have father’s company.

"Then you can ask Daddy. If Daddy has time to go with you, I will go to work. I have work anyway."

Winnie had no right to stop Brian to go, but she could do it herself.

"Mommy, I don't feel so at ease without you. You have to go. Your son is more important than your job."

Luke wanted his parents to go. This was his wish.

"I'll call Daddy, and if Daddy has time, we'll all go and cheer on brother."

Megan said while making a call.

"Daddy, I miss you."

Megan said happily. Hearing that, Brian forgot all worries.

"I also miss you. You are still up, do you want to have a video chat with me?"

"Yeah."

Megan sent the video invitation to Brian.

"Daddy, are you busy at work tomorrow?"

As soon as the video was connected, Megan hurried to ask.

"I am busy every day."

Brian replied, looking at everything in the video. He saw Luke and Megan, but did not see Winnie.

"Can you spare a day for me and my brother?"

Megan asked.

"What for?"

Brian said in a soft voice.

Megan felt she failed, but adults were heard to be dealt with.

Luke said.

"Daddy, I'm going to the finals of a programming competition tomorrow. Can you come with me?"

"Competition..."

Brian was silent for a moment, wondering if he could leave his work tomorrow. But Luke thought Daddy

in hesitation......

"Daddy, I always envy that the kids have their parents to participate the kindergarten activities. Please

come with Mommy, so that I can know what it is like.”

Afraid that Brian refused, Luke continued to request.

"Yes, Daddy, the teacher said that we only have childhood once, and it's better to have parents with us

as we grow up. Daddy, complete one of our wishes."

Megan said. If Daddy did not agree, she would continue.

"Where's Mommy? Has Mommy got a minute?"

Brian did not mean to refuse, but listening to the words of the two children, he felt sorry for them.

Speaking of Mommy, Megan switched the camera, and then Brian saw Winnie lying on the sofa, typing

with her mobile phone.

Just then a text message reached his phone. It was sent by Winnie.

"Don't say yes if you don't have time."

Brian looked at Winnie in the video who kept her eyes fixed on her phone as if waiting for his answer.

"I am free. I will go with you."

"Thank you, Daddy, Daddy, we love you!"

Megan and Luke were very happy, but Brian found Winnie frowned in the screen.

Then another message appeared on the screen.

"If you have Wendy with you, tell them in advance so they won't get emotional again."

Winnie finished the message and sighed. She did not know that she was on the video.

"Luke, Megan, I will pick you up tomorrow morning. We will go together." Bran said.

"I have to work now so I can go with you tomorrow. Say goodbye to Daddy."

Winnie's delicate face was on Brian's mobile phone. He had been watching until she disappeared.

The next day, Brian arranged everything and drove to Winnie's house to pick them up.

All the way when Brian spoke, Winnie did not speak.

When Winnie spoke, she would keep her mouth shut whenever Brian interrupted her.

If possible, she only wanted to use text to commutate with him, and did not want to say a word to him.

To the scene of the competition, Winnie once again comforted Luke, for fear that he was nervous.

"Now, Mommy, you're the most nervous one. I have you and Daddy with me and I'm not nervous at all.

Don’t worry, I will do a good job."

"Well, I am too nervous. I should learn from you to be calm."

Listening to Luke’s relaxed tone, Winnie felt relieved.

"Son, just try your best. Ranking is not important."

Brian was afraid that Luke would be nervous, after all, he had depression. If he was too nervous, it

would annoy him.

"Ok, Daddy, none of you are to leave. You must stay here until I finish the competition."

Luke was calmest.

He did not care much out the competition. That Daddy and Mom came with him was the most important

thing.

Now he felt the happiness of facing the future together as a family.

"I will stay with you all day, rest assured, I will accompany you to the end of the competition."

Brian promised the children, but Winnie was embarrassed.

Spending the whole day with Brian, she would go crazy.

Luke was taken into the competition by the staff, Brian, Winnie and Megan waited outside, but they

could see Luke in the position of the family.

"Mommy, look how serious brother is."

Megan said proudly.

"Heep your voice down. This is a competition. We can't disturb anyone."

Winnie reminded her in a low voice. It would be good to look at it quietly. She did not need to

communicate with Brian.

Winnie put her attention to Luke.

Winnie was proud of her child's calm and careful demeanor.

Luke was the youngest in the competition of the youth group. According to the rules of the competition,

he should be in the group of 6-9 years old, but his level was far beyond the content of that group, so

Winnie took Luke's usual results to attend the youth group.

The youth group is 10-16 years old, much older than Luke.

But she wanted to see the strength of Luke, so that she know how much space for his development.

The competition required that the program be completed and tested within five hours. As time went by,

Winnie became more and more focused.

Although this competition was the trial of B City, it was a great challenge to the contestants in terms of

logical analysis ability, strategy making and brain power.

Winnie was worried that Luke could not stick to it.

Fortunately, Luke did a good job and had been focus. Luke had talent in programming and software.

Luke was not like a five year old child, but a senior engineer.

The big screen at the competition always played Luke's picture, the parents were whispering.

"This boy is too young. It would be a loss to compete with children older than him."

"He is serious, he may have good ability."

"The boy is really handsome. His parents must be good looking."

"He is excellent. I have been looking at him, and he kept focus, my child always looks around."

Hearing that, Brian was flattered.

For the first time, he felt more proud of his child's excellence than his own.

However, with such excellent two children, the person he should thank most was Winnie.

Thank her for giving him two children, thank her for bringing them up properly and intelligently, thank

her for sacrificing her time for them.

Brian's line of sight unconsciously fell on Winnie.

The profile was so beautiful and the outline was so delicate.

She sometimes frowned, sometimes smiled, sometimes she was nervous, sometimes was relaxed.

Brian felt her every expression could hold his heart.

By looking at her, he was pleased.

"Daddy, brother is great."

Megan lowered her voice and whispered in Brian's ear.

"Yes, brother is the best, just as good as Mommy."

Brian also whispered in the ear of Megan.

Megan narrowed eyes and smiled happily.

She liked Daddy's praise of Mommy.

The competition was over, and the result was beyond anyone's expectation.

The host announced the ranking one by one from back to front, but the name of Luke was not heard.

Winnie had doubts. Did Luke make a mistake, how could he not get ranking?

Third place, second place.

"Now the first place winner is announced."

"When you hear it, you must feel the same way I do, which is incredible."

The host kept it a secret, then continued to announce.

"The first prize, Luke Bennet. He is only five years old. He beat all the older kids and made it to the

top."

"Congratulations, Luke Bennet."

When the host announced that, everyone held their breath and stared at the host with puzzled eyes,

including Brian and Winnie.

They thought they had misheard it.

However, when the host said the last sentence, the referee took the lead in clapping, and all the people

gave a warm applause.

"Is it really Luke?"

Winnie controlled her excitement and asked Brian.

Now forgot that she shouldn't have spoken to him.

"It is Luke, our son."

"Brother is wonderful, brother, you are my pride."

It seemed that Megan was the proudest one. She shouted loudly, attracting the attention of the

audience. It was discovered that these were the champion's parents and sister.
