Winnie wanted to tell him the whole story, but it was quite long.
“Two of my friends cut ties with me for some reasons, and our cooperation has to be stopped.”
“I can understand them, but I am upset.”
Winnie grew red in eyes. She did not tell her real thought, or she was sad, because she did not want to
let her bad moon affect others.
She was better after saying that.
As her voice fell, she began to drink silently. She drank up a glass of it to cover the fact that she got
tears in her eyes before she had some food.
“This is spicy.”
“Spicy food is bad for your stomach.”
Finn said, he could see that Winnie was covering her mood.
“Are you talking about Brian?”
Finn gave his guess.
“No, we have nothing to do with other. He lives his life and I have my life.”
“We are just the parents of the kids.”
Speaking of Brian, Winnie felt worse.
She still loved him and she had decided to move on, but she felt happy to be with him these two days.
He was like a star in the sky which could not be touched, and she could only look up at it.
Since it was not Brian, Finn did not continue but comfort her.
“Don’t think too much, it is normal to part with people. Since you can understand them, you know they
have their reason.”
“Leave it alone, you will have new friends, like me. I am your leader, but I can be your friend.”
Hearing that, Winnie gave a bitter smile.
“Yeah, I will have new friends and you are my new friend.”
Winnie understood it, but she needed time to get used to that.
Leo just told her in advance, but he did not do it immediately, but Winnie felt she could not breath.
Finn did not know her feelings about Leo and Emily, she was like loosing three Brian.
She did not expect that she had bothered so many people and she was a stumbling block in others’ life.
It was sad and she was like a loser.
At this thought, she drank up. After a moment of silence, she opened her mouth.
“I want to leave B City if I can, since I have bothered so many people, what is the meaning for me to
live there?”
“I would rather live in property area than B City. I want to do something meaningful things like public
benefit activities, to prove that I mean something to the word, I am not hated by everyone.”
Winnie tried to adjust her mood when she said that, but she in the end could not hold back tears.
“I am sorry, I may have been drunk, or it is because of the spicy food.”
Winnie explained and wiped off her tears.
“Let’s drink, cheers.”
Though she wiped her tears, she still got some in eyes.
She drank glass by glass. Finn was sorry for that, but he did not stop her.
He knew Winnie was not in a good moon and knew she needed wine.
“Drink if you want, and you can leave if you want. And if you want to do some meaningful things, you
can do it. It is important to be happy.”
Finn said, seeing that Winnie was hurtful, he was uncomfortable.
He had thought she was tough, positive and held hope for life.
But after getting along with her, he felt that she was not tough as she looked. She got many things in
her mind.
“I wish I can do that, so I can keep alive, but I have too many things to think about, I can’t only think for
myself selfishly.
Winnie was afraid that she could not hold back tears, so she blinked eyes.
However, it was torturing.
She had thought of what Finn said, but she just could not do that, because she could not only live for
herself.
“Live in another city and change the way you live. Forgive everyone and get to know new friends.”
“You can’t do it because your heart. It is because you can’t let go.”
He was true. It was she could not let go and she still stick to it.
She cared everyone, who might not care about her, but she had regard them as indispensable.
At this thought, Winnie burst into tears, for fear that Finn saw it, she lied prone the table.
She dared not make a sound, but Finn knew her cry looking at her trembling back.
At the moment, he really wanted to know what she had been through and wanted to solve the problem
for her, because he felt her world was depressed.
“Winwin...”
Finn wanted to comfort her, but he stopped, because he knew she would be sadder if he did.
So he stretched out to stroke Winnie's head, wanted to give her strength, but he did not.
They did not know each other for a long time, and they were leader and subordinate. The most
important was that they were single. If he did that, it would cause misunderstanding and inconvenience
to Winnie.
After taking his hands back, Finn silently watch Winnie cry. Although crying would not solve the
problem, it could temporarily relieve her depressing heart.
Winnie, in a while, realized that it was not right to cry in front of Finn.
She raised her heard, wiped off her tears and then picked up her glass again.
"Come on, keep drinking. Have a nice trip tomorrow."
At this moment Winnie just wanted to get drunk, so that she could temporarily forget everything.
Winnie finally was drunk and became incoherent.
"I... I... Thank you... Thanks for drinking with me."
"Today I was so...so...so happy. This is the end... I'm going back to school."
Winnie said while standing up from the chair. Afraid that she could fall, Finn got up to help her.

Finn was surprised about Brian's sudden appearance.

Brian and Winnie had broken up, but they used to be together.
At this moment Finn realized that Brain was more suitable to take care of Winnie. So he did not speak

"I'll take care of my woman, don't worry."
Brain interrupted Finn coldly and left with Winnie in his arms.
Finn was surprised to hear that, especially the words "my woman". It proved that Winnie and Brian
were still connected
Brian put Winnie into the car after he walked out of the restaurant. Winnie was dizzy, she could not see
him clearly but could hear his voice.
But she wondered if she had made a mistake, and if she had been hallucinating about him when she
was drunk.
"Alas...... You are so annoying. You show up every time I drink. I should go to the other side of the
world. The other side of the world... I'd drink myself to death and never meet you again."
Winnie said vaguely, but it was filled with disappointment in Brian.
