Emily gave a smile because of Daenerys' words.
"Are you praising Leo or Doctor Burns?"
Emily felt Daenerys meant that Doctor Burns was better than Leo.
Emily knew Leo was a good man, but she could not get over her disappointment to him.
"No matter who I praise, do you think he is a good man or not? Emily, give Leo a chance. Every
relationship has flaws, it is because of the flaws can we know how deep each other love."
Daenerys seemed to lighten the question, but what she said made perfect sense.
Every relationship had flaws. No flaws, no love.
"Not you and Doctor Burns. Your love is so good, simple, and passionate."

"Winwin, have you earned a lot of money during this time? When did you change your car?"

in."

your lunch break?"
Daenerys was confused that Winnie changed her car for the work.
"It has become my habit, I want to earn more while I am still young. When I am tired one day, I can
have some rest at will.
"Anyway, it's a pity to wast time at noon. Earning some money can be more fulfilling."
Winnie’s mood became now after hearing the name of Brian.
"Does Brian know you work like that?"
Emily asked.
Winnit fell silence at this.
She put down her cutlery and lowered her eyes for a moment. She was serious when she looked up
again.
"We broke up. He doesn't need to know anything about me."
"What?"
"You broke up?"
Daenerys and Emily were surprised to hear that.
"Don't be so surprised. It is the truth."
Winnie repeated.
She prepared herself for a long time, expecting to burst into tears when she said it in front of them. But

Daenerys and Emily fell silence. They looked at each other and did not know if they should comfort her
or congratulate on her breakup.
Although they had already seen through the end of Brian and Winnie and Winnie could live a free life

"Why did you break up?"
Daenerys asked.

Winnie gaven a simple explanation and asked her two bestie not to ask.
So Daenerys and Emily did not continue to ask.
"Have some wine till we get drunk."
Daenerys made a proposal so that Winnie could release herself.
"Why? I'm not that vulnerable. Besides, it's good to break up. I don't want to get sentimental. Eat. I
have to go home and get back to work. I got the job and I have to finish it."
Winnie rejected Daenerys' proposal, she did not want to break down after drinking and to expose her
love for Brian. And she didn't want Brian to know how sad she was to leave him.
Daenerys and Emily again were silent. They understood that Winnie was not hurry to make money, but
numbed her feelings with work.
When dinner was over, the three men went home.
When Daenerys got home, Kevin had been home from work. Her parents were there, so Daenerys
asked Kevin out and asked him about Winnie.
"Do you know that Winwin broke up with Brian?"
"They broke up?"
Kevin knew they had a bad relationship during this period of time, but did not expect that they had
really broken up.
"Yes, Winwin said it herself at dinner. Didn't Brian tell you?"
Daenerys continued to ask, she thought Kevin didn't tell her.
"I know they quarreled some time ago. Winwin fainted and was hospitalized because she had not slept
or eaten well for several days. But they don't allow me to ask what happened, so I don't know it."
Kevin felt there was no need to hide, since Winnie had said it.
"What? She was hospitalized? Why didn't you tell me? When did that happen?"

about her."
Kevin patted his wife's shoulder to comfort her.
"Don't worry about it. If you do, what Winnie did will be pointless."
“How can I not worry? She loves Brian so much that it must hurt her to break up with him. And I can’t
help her when she was suffering the most?"
Daenerys was so worried that she was about to cry. Now she desperately wanted to know the reason
for the breakup.
"Why did they break up? Does Brian fall in love with Gloria?”
The question baffled Kevin, who also wanted to find out why.
"I really don't know why. Oscar and I were both in the hospital back then. Winwin held Oscar and cried
bitterly, she did not say anything about it."
“Daenerys, don't ask. Winwin must have her reason.”

Kevin analysis was right, basically he had seen through the heart of Winnie. Although Winnie and
Daenerys were friends, it might hurt Winnie's self-esteem.
Kevin persuaded Daenerys, but he had been thinking about why they broke up and why Winnie cried
sadly.
Kevin asked Daenerys to go home first and he said he would go to supermarket. Then he made a call
to Brian in a quiet place.
He went straight to the point.
"You broke up with Winwin? Have you broken up the last time you are in the hospital?"
"She told you?"
Brian asked, but he was unexpected that it was not till then Winnie said it.
"Yes, Winwin told Daenerys and Emily. It doesn't matter who said it, but why you broke up?"
Kevin asked Brian in a domineering manner, as if he would not give up till he got a satisfied answer.
"What did she say?"
Brian continued to ask.
