It was already noon and Emily was still lying in bed. She vomited irregularly last night and did not sleep
well all night. She did not fall asleep until three o’clock in the morning and did not wake up till it was
noon.
When she opened her bleary eyes, the first things that rushed into her mind were the child and Leo.
She knew that it was not yet decided whether to abort the child.
It was nearly three months, the doctor said that if it was three months, odinopoeia would be needed
and it did harm to the body.
She did not have much time.
The thought of it made her very anxious and panic.
What to do? Should she tell Leo?
When Emily was thinking about it, her mother opened the door and came in.
She was surprised to see Emily in the room.
"Why aren't you at work?"

But it was not different today. Emily did not go to work, which meant that she really was ill.

Even if Emily said she was all right, Emily’s mother was still worried. She pulled Emily's hand and

Everything was sorted out. Emily’s mother picked up the phone again, when she was going to call
Emily’s father, Emily came out of the bathroom.
"Mom, I am fine, I don't need to go to hospital."
Emily thought her mother was calling the hospital, so she grabbed the phone.
"I'm calling your dad. You're sick. I will tell him to come back."
Emily’s mother was still worried. Although Emily now looked fine, her face was still pale. What
happened just now made her terrified.

have a good rest..."
Emily thought she was all right, but she began to vomit again. She ran to the bathroom, followed by her
mother.

requested. Those light foods won't upset her stomach at all. Why was she so sick?
"What did you eat?"

"No, I have to take you to the hospital."
Emily’s mother said and strode out of the bathroom to take the phone.
Emily hurried to stop her mother.
"Mom, I don't need to go to the hospital."
Emily was weak and her face looked pale, her throat hurt and there was a bad taste in her mouth. She
felt like she was exhausted and unable to stop mother.
"Emily, either go to the hospital or tell me what's wrong with you."
Emily’s mother said. Emily was particularly abnormal today, if she really had eaten bad things, she
would not refuse to go to the hospital.
"I..."
Emily looked at her mother with a face of embarrassment and helplessness, and felt she could not hide
it anymore.
"We will go to the hospital if you don’t say it."
Emily’s mother was to pull Emily out, she must be imposing, or Emily would not tell her the truth.

Emily listlessly answered. She was annoyed but her mother was so happy, she did not understand why.

"Where's my phone? I'm going to call your dad. I'm going to tell him the good news."
Emily’s mother looked for the phone happily, regardless of Emily's feelings.
"Mom, why are you so happy that I am pregnant before I get married?"
How could she be so happy? She felt as if her daughter-in-law was pregnant.
"It doesn't matter. You can get married right away."
"Give me the phone, I will call your father, and Leo's parents. We should prepare for the wedding."
Emily’s mother smiled from ear to ear. She was so happy that she was going to have a good son-in-
law.
"No, you can't call anyone. Leo doesn't know about it yet, and I'm not sure if I will keep the baby."
Emily hid her mother's mobile phone behind her, and she knew that her mother must force her to get
married, as Leo.
"What? Leo still doesn't know it? You want to get abortion? If you dare to do so, Emily, I will be angry
with you."
Emily’s mother could not accept such a decision. She could not abort the child and it would do harm to
Emily’s body.
"Mom, clam down, can I make the decision by myself?"
Emily protested. She felt sick and did not know what to do, she even wanted to escape.
"And then you abort the baby? It is guilty? It is a life and you want to kill him? Have you ever thought
that Leo is the father? Is it fair to Leo that you made the decision without telling him?"

agree to abort the child. This child came at the right time, it would make Emily and Leo get married
soon.

Emily’s mother relented, smiled and said gentle words to her daughter. From then on she wanted to be
a "full-time nanny" to take care of Emily.

you."

"I can't eat. I have no appetite."
Emily was really weak and her stomach was sick. How could she have an appetite?
