Leo looked at Brian who was anxious and knew Brian was really Emily’s blind date. But Brian was
concerned about Winnie.
"Winwin doesn't know it. If she knows, I would not be here to ask you."
"Tell me what your attitude is to Winwin. I can understand you have a blind date, after all, you are
bound. But your blind date is Emily and I don't know what you mean."
Leo asked in a composed manner.
"We just help each other. Her parents weren't happy with your breakup and were probably mad at you
so they forced her to go on a blind date. I have the same situation. My grandpa does not like Wendy so
he forced me to have a blind date. So we agreed to cheat them for some time."
Brian explained in details, not afraid that Leo would overthink, but that he would tell Winnie.
Hearing that, Leo became less worried. He believed Brian's words, because he was not the kind of
person to lie.
"Mr. Bennet, tell Winwin one day. She's been through too much, and she's sensitive. If she knows it,
she'd have wild thoughts."
"Whether you love her or not, I hope you won't hurt her. I decide to pursue Emily again, and I have
gone over Winwin, but I will help her when she is in trouble."
Leo showed his attitude and don’t want Brian to feel jealousy about him.
"I will find a chance to tell her, but I still need Emily’s help."
"Our family is in a bit of a mess now, and if I don't follow my grandpa's advice on blind dates, things will
get even worse."
After hearing that Leo gave up Winnie, his tone eased a lot and he became relaxed. There were some
things he hoped Leo could help.
Brian continued.
"Wendy and I have broken up, and we had a blind date with Emily. Two nights ago I put the identity of
Megan exposure, so grandpa will urge me to push forward the blind date."
"During this period of time, I have no woman except Winwin, and she wants to be my girlfriend in a
steadfast manner. So I need Emily's help and give Winwin more time."
Brian told the current situation to Leo, hoping he could understand.
"I can understand what you're saying, but what I don't understand why you don’t ask her to be your
girlfriend or marry her."
Leo could offer help and make things clear to Emily. But the problem could not be resolved, because in
the end such a relationship would hurt Winnie.
"That's Winwin's insistence. I can't persuade her. I told her I would give up everything and be with her. I
also told her to be with me forever, though I can’t marry her. She refused both, and I don't know what
her scruples are."
Brian fought for it, but finally he listened to Winnie. He was disappointed at grandpa's attitude last night
and he wanted to give up everything and take Winnie and the children away.
But when he mentioned that, Winnie refused.
"What did Winwin think?"
"It doesn’t matter, I'll talk to Emily and give Winwin some time. You'd better tell Winwin about your blind
date as soon as possible."
Leo now realized that the problem lied in Winnie, it seemed that she was still repressed by some
thought and refused to face the reality.
"Tell her the truth or lie?"
Brian asked Leo in reply.
Leo ignored this question, so he was silent before speaking.
"Tell her the truth, she hates being lied to. Let's find a chance to say it together. I'll communicate with
Emily first and we'll say it together with Winwin."
Leo felt it was safer and it would do less harm to Winwin.
After Leo left, Winnie knocked at the door and entered.
"I seemed to see Leo."
Winnie asked Brian with doubts, because she only saw a back on the elevator, and she not sure about
it.
"It was Leo. We talked about work and he left."
Brian did not tell her the true. although he felt sorry, he felt it was not the time to tell her.
He went to Winnie and embraced her.
"Are you tired? Why don’t we take the kids..."
After two days there was no news from grandpa, so Brian was worried. Then he brought up the subject
of leaving together again. But before his words were finished, Winnie stopped him.
"Here you go again, if you want to go, leave by yourself. Even if I'm with you, I want to be fair and open,
and I want the approval and acceptance of the Bennet family. I don't want to leave secretly, or
Chairman will hate me even more."
Winnie had many concerns, and she hoped they could face the problem instead of avoiding. And she
had been feeling uncomfortable about the woman in the picture.
She was afraid that the woman suddenly appeared when she was with Brian, or that when he got his
memory back, he found that woman was his true love. If so, what should she do?
"Winwin, it's only a matter of time before the Bennet family accepts you. We don’t need to worry about
it."
Brian persuaded. He felt it was not biggest problem the Bennet family accepts her or not, but he did not
know what Winnie thought.
"Don't say it. I will think of it and I'll go with you after I have made up my mind."
"Sign this, so that we can continue our fighting."
Winnie said to Brian in a perfunctory manner, because she would never make up her mind. Even if she
left, she left with her children, and it had nothing to do with Brian.
Wendy could not eat well and sleep well since she broke up with Brian and she looked decadent.
Her mother Zoe was worried, but Wendy did not tell her what had happened.
In the living room of the Yup family.
"Alfred, why don't you go and ask Brian if there was any conflict between them?"
"If Brian still minds about what happened that day, I will apologize to him. We can't let Wendy be like
this all the time."
Zoe consulted with Alfred.
"No, I am ashamed to face Brian. You can't go either, let her fix it herself."
Wendy’s father Alfred did not want to take care of it. It had violated his conscience that he had
something to hide from Brian, how could he face Brian?
At the moment Alfred hoped that Wendy and Brian break up so as not to make a bad end.
"You don't care about your daughter."
Seeing Alfred's attitude, Zoe was worried and raised her voice.
"It's the way she chose. What can I do? I did not agree to her returning to home. Now how can I take
care of it?"
"You have been spoiling her since she was a kid. She is willful and thoughtless. If it doesn’t stop now,
it's going to be harder to fix it. Leave her alone. It would be better if she broke up. Let her go abroad
and never come back."
"If she lived in a good life abroad, how would I allow her to come back? I did it for her good, every
parent wants their children to have a good life."
Zoe was infuriated by Alfred and shouted back.
“Now you're talking like that. Why didn't you say anything when I didn't approve of her going abroad?
Why didn't you stop her? If she hadn't dated two men at that time, and steadfastly gave birth to a child
for Brian, there wouldn't be these filthy things today."
"If you're sober enough now, tell her to separate from Brian and send her to another country. Now she's
young enough to start over."
Alfred was also angry. From beginning to end, no one listened to his arrangement, and now things
were not as perfect as the imagination and they wanted him to help.
If Wendy did not have a stigma, he could go and beg Brian, but now he had no confidence and it would
be of no use.
The best choice was what he just said, but he did not know whether Wendy and her mother would
listen to him or not.
"Is it any use talking about the past now? Can it change anything? You're a man and you just shirk..."
Before she could finish, Wendy suddenly interrupted her.
"Don't quarrel. I can take care of my business. I'm not going abroad. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going
to marry Brian in my life."
Wendy stood at the top of the stairs on the second floor, shouting. Her eyes were scarlet.
She had been emotionally exhausted, and hearing her parents fighting because of her, she was on the
verge of breaking down and could not bear it.
With these painful words, Wendy walked quickly down and rushed out without saying anything.
She came to the seaside, where the wind was cool, but only in this way she could make herself sober.
But unexpectedly, she missed Brian more.
At this time she thought of Laura. She wanted to know what Laura said, in order to plan to regain
Brian's heart.
Wendy made a call to Laura, but Laura refused to answer her phone. Wendy called again and again
until Laura’s phone was turned off.
Wendy still did not give up, and finally drove straight to Laura’s work place.
She was not sure if Laura was in the company, Wendy could only wait downstairs till it was time to go
off work.
As Laura walked out of the company, she saw Wendy standing there, it seemed to be unable to hide.
They came to Wendy's car. Wendy wanted to chat in a cafe, but Laura refused.
"Say it here, I've got to get back and cook for the kids."
Laura said in a gloomy face, since she disliked Wendy. Although she had her motives, Wendy used her
and she could not protect herself.
"Laura, no matter how the matter turns out, I have no other opinion of you. I was too impulsive to make
it like this and I know you and Klara are really good to me."
"Klara......"
When Laura heard Klara's name, she endure it though she did not like it
"Wendy, no need to say anything. We have to leave it at that. I saved my job because Winnie did not
pursue my responsibility. I can't fight Winnie anymore. Brian ordered the whole field to ban me. If
Winnie didn't protect me, the rest of my life would be ruined."
"Wendy......"
