Hey, My Twins Babies Chapter 415 Wendy Intercede

Prev Chapter Next Chapter

If Winnie wanted to pretend that nothing happened, at least she should showed her original attitude.

"And you, did you eat?"

"No, I've been waiting for you."

Brian had not had dinner. He was waiting for Winnie to come back, hoping to make up for the regret of

not being able to accompany her yesterday.

"Oh, I'm sorry, you didn't call me. I didn't know you were waiting for me."

"You must be hungry, ask the secretary to prepare lunch for you."

Actually, Winnie had not had dinner yet. She came back to the company after sending Luke to Oscar,

and then she was busy at work. She did not have time to eat.

She told Brian that she had dinner because she didn't want to have lunch with him. She was

disappointed and angry.

"I was busy with work last night, so I didn't bother you but went back to the suburbs. I was so busy that

I forgot to call you and tell you when to go to the hospital.

Brian felt that Winnie was angry with him. After all, he neglected too many things last night, so he

wanted to explain.

"It's okay. Even if you didn't tell me, I still took Luke to the hospital. It is your liberty to go wherever you

want to go."

Winnie said with a smile. She was clam on face but in heart.

Brian's explanation for Winnie, who knew everything, was pointless, but it made the result worse.

He was busy at work, but suburb was farther than her home. Was he so busy that he could not call

her?

He had something in mind and could not face her, so he chose to return to the suburbs. He didn't even

think about making a call to her.

"Winwin..."

Brian wanted to say sorry but hesitated, because Winnie did not like him to say sorry.

“Did Oscar go to your home last night?”

Brian asked.

He had heard what Luke said in the hospital. But Winnie was in a hurry to leave that he had no chance

to ask.

"Yes, he did not want to cook, so he came for dinner."

Winnie continued.

"By the way, don't go to my home tonight. My aunt is back, you can't be there."

Winnie took this opportunity to refuse Brian.

At the hospital, she wanted to refuse, but she didn't say it because Luke was there.

She was in a bad mood today, and now she was pretending she was ok. Talking to him face to face,

Winnie could endure the inner suffering. But if they lied in a bed, she was afraid she could not do calm

herself in the dark.

"You come with me to the suburbs."

Brian was sure that Winnie was angry with him. It was his alienation that made Winnie unhappy. He

regretted that he had not controlled his emotions.

Brian's words made Winnie given an irony smile.

"Have you forgotten that your grandfather doesn't allow me to set foot in the Bennet family? How

shameless I am if I go with you."

Winnie felt suffocated and had to take a deep breath to relieve herself.

"Go back and ask your secretary to prepare lunch for you. We'll talk about it later."

Winnie indirectly asked him to leave, at this moment she could not continue to talk with him.

She did not understand the purpose of Brian's coming here. She felt that he was coming to apologize,

but he looked absent-minded. Such an apology was meaningless and could not make her better.

After Brian left in depression, Winnie sent a message to her aunt.

"Aunt, come back, I miss you and Vanessa."

After a while, Winnie sent another.

"I have booked your tickets for tomorrow. Come back."

After sending the message, Winnie could not help but feel sad. She and Brian had a freezing

relationship and she did not know when it would melt.

The next day Isobel and Vanessa really came back. Winnie went to the airport to pick them at noon.

At Winnie's home.

"Sister, Megan and Luke are still in the suburbs? I go and pick them up."

Vanessa looked for the children as she walked into the house. She had not seen the two children for

many days and missed them terribly, otherwise she would not have come back even if her sister had

booked the plane ticket.

"Megan is staying with his grandfather and aunt in the suburbs. She will be back in the evening. Luke

will go to Oscar's class, and I will bring him back when I get off work."

Winnie knew her aunt and Vanessa missed the children, but now it was special. If she pick up the

children now, Felix would be angry.

"It is boring, I want to see them."

Vanessa did not know what happened, only want to see the children.

"Vanessa, some things happened during this period of time. I will tell you in detail when I come back

from work in the evening. Aunt, I still have work to do, I have to go to the company now. Please cook

delicious food for me in the evening."

With that, Winnie got up. Now she didn't have time. If she had time, she would make it clear.

Winnie to the company to work, there was a document needed to be signed by person in charge of the

Bennet Group. She did not bother Brian, but went to Calvin. But Calvin was out, so Winnie could only

go to find Brian.

However, the secretary told her that Wendy had just gone in and that if she was not in a hurry, she

should wait for a moment.

Winnie’s mood was inevitably affected when she heard the name of Wendy, but she decided not to

bother Brian.

In Brian's office.

Brian looked at Wendy sitting on the sofa with a cold face. Looking at her, he thought of that Megan got

injury and Winnie suffered because of her.

"What are you doing here? I am busy."

Brian spoke in a cold voice.

“Brian, I come to make a solemn apology for everything and for you. I finally understand it is my fault. I

was suspicious, I was not tolerate. I am not good enough to be the mother of two children."

Wendy first gave self-reflection, only when she had a sincere attitude and admitted her mistakes,

Brian’s hatred to her could be weakened and it was likely that he would forgive her.

"Brian, I have accepted the fact that we broke up. I will not bother you and Winwin any more."

Wendy stopped at this, lifted her eyes to see Brian and then continued.

"There's one more thing I want to tell you today, Klara..."

"Speak your own business, not others."

As Wendy was to speak, Brian interrupted her coldly. Now Brian didsn't even want to hear the name of

Klara.

"Brian, I hope you would give me a chance to speak. It's not Klara's fault, she just helped me. I I

threatened her that if she did not help, I would make her leave the Bennet Group. I couldn't make Klara

involved because of my selfishness."

Wendy took all the responsibility, and even make it worse. Only in this way could Klara get her job

back.

"Why are you selfish if you knew that she would be involved? Should I believe you, Wendy?"

Brian did not believe her, because he knew Klara well. If she had been threatened, she would have told

him. It was impossible that she was quiet.

"What I said is true. Klara has nothing to do with it. I was wrong and tried to keep you around me. But

now I know I have hurt many people because of my selfishness, and Klara is one of them."

"She's having a hard time with four elderly people and a child to raise. Without the job, she felt

insecure. And they still don't know she lost her job."

Wendy said, she knew Brian was indifferent on the surface, but his heart was soft.

Wendy continued since Brian did not interrupt her.

"Klara leaves home when it is time to go to work and goes home when it is off work every day. She's

been wandering around all day for fear the elderly found out the truth."

"I feel guilty for her, so I come to you. I hope you can give her another chance."

Hearing that, Brian's heart was indeed shaken, and he remembered Spencer who had died. But he

kept silent.

"Brian, in view of Spencer's loyalty to you, please give Klara a chance. I promise that I will never have

contact with Klara again and I will never threaten Klara again. Now I realize it's not easy for Klara, and

I'll feel less guilty if you give her a chance."

Wendy continued to work hard on it and she felt that Brian’s heart wavered.

"Go home first. I’ll think about it."

Brian did not agree or refuse, but this was hope for Wendy.

Wendy walked out happily and had a mile on face when she was out of the office of Brian, which was

seen by Winnie in the office.

Although she did not know who wanted to meet, but it could be told that they had a good talk, otherwise

Wendy would not be so happy.

After Wendy left, Winnie received a notice from the secretary, asking her to go to the president's office.

Winnie took the document to be signed to Brian's office.

"Sign the papers first."

Winnie went straight to work and did not ask about Wendy.

Brian took the document and signed in the last page without reading it. Then he spoke.

"Wendy was here just now."

"Oh."

Winnie answered with indifference.

"She came to intercede for Wendy, hoping that I would give her another chance to come back to work."

Brian said. However, Winnie was indifferent as if it didn’t seem to have anything to do with her.

"I told you that because I want your advice. Do you approve of Klara's coming back?"

Brian felt that it was related to Winnie and he should seek Winnie's opinion.

"Mr. Bennet, it is your company's affair. It has nothing to do with me and you don’t have to ask for my

advice."

"By asking my advice, you have forgiven her, and you have decided to have her back. Now that you

have made up your mind, if I say no, I will be sinister."

"I am ok with it. You can do what you want to do. Even if you want to get back to Wendy, I am ok with

it."

With that, she took the document and left.

Brian got up quickly and held Winnie.

"Winwin, I am asking for your advice."

Brian guessed that Winnie would not be happy, but he did not expect that she would say so.

"Is my advice useful? On which think you asked my advice?"

"Mr. Bennet, it is your company's affair. It has nothing to do with me and you don't have to ask for my

advice."

"By asking my advice, you have forgiven her, and you have decided to have her back. Now that you

have made up your mind, if | say no, | will be sinister."

"lam ok with it. You can do what you want to do. Even if you want to get back to Wendy, | am ok with

it."

With that, she took the document and left.

Brian got up quickly and held Winnie.

"Winwin, | am asking for your advice."

Brian guessed that Winnie would not be happy, but he did not expect that she would say so.
