Hey, My Twins Babies Chapter 640 Mountaintop Encounter

Vanessa glanced at Winnie and said, unconvinced.

“You were always the last to climb a mountain, why you are so good now? Did you take some medicine

before you went up the mountain?”

Vanessa knew her sister had changed recently and she ran every morning. Maybe it had something to

do with these exercises.

After her sister broke up with Brian, she felt less depressed and she did not have to face the Bennet

family.

“You can't catch up with me and said I took medicine? What kind of logic is that? Which one of you is

tired? I can hold you up.”

Winnie walked down a few steps to the two kids.

“Mom, hold Megan, I am a man, I can insist.”

Luke gave the opportunity to Megan. As he said, a man must overcome this difficulty, or he could not

protect his sister.

“Luke, you are the best and the most sensible. I love you.”

Gratified, Winnie kissed Luke and then held Megan up.

“Luke, I can't hold you up, but I can carry you. Come on, get on my back.”

Vanessa did not want Luke walk, so she planned to carry him thought she was tired. Squatting in front

of Luke, Vanessa showed her back to Luke.

She knew that her back was not so broad as that upon which Luke might not rest comfortably. But she

gave it unconditionally with love.

“Aunt, I can hold on, if I can't hold on, I will ask you to carry me.”

Luke stretched out his hand and pulled his aunt, indicating her to stand up.

After mom and dad broke up, he was the only man in the family. He must make himself strong enough

to protect his queens.

“Well, then, I hold your hand. I will carry you whenever you are tired.”

So they continued to climb to the top of the mountain.

Stop-and-go, they finally came to the top of the mountain, but accidentally, they met Brian and Gloria.

Megan was excited to see Brian. She did not know Gloria and did not know that she came with her

Dad. She thought her father and mother agreed to meet at the top of the mountain, so she ran to Brian

and directly hugged Brian.

“Dad, is this a surprise for me? You and Mom agreed to meet at the top of the mountain, right?”

Megan was happy, but Brian did not know how to answer. He looked at Winnie with embarrassment.

He did not expect to meet Winnie and kids at the top of the mountain. He and Gloria had a temporary

decision to climb mountain, and even Albert and Calvin did not know that, but it happened to meet

Winnie here.

It did not matter to meet Winnie or Vanessa here. But the two kids did not know the existence of Gloria,

so he was afraid that the kids could not bear it to see her like this.

“Dad......”

Brian did not know how to answer, and at this moment Winnie came over.

“Megan, dad comes...”

Winnie came to help explain. As she wanted to say “Dad comes with a customer”, her words were

interrupted by Gloria.

“Brian, is this your daughter?”

Gloria said in an enchanting voice and deliberately removed the glasses to show her charming eyes.

She did not look like a customer at all.

“Yes, my daughter.”

“Luke, come here.”

Brian could only introduce each other.

Luke came over.

“This is my daughter, Megan. This is my son, Luke.”

“Megan, Luke, say hello to Gloria.”

“Hello, Gloria, my name is Megan Bennet. My family calls me Megan.”

Megan said her full name every time she introduced herself, including this time. But she felt weird

about this woman.

“Hello, I'm Luke Bennet.”

Luke greeted reluctantly. The way this woman talked to his dad bothered him.

“Hello, Luke, Hello, Megan.”

“Dad, who is she?”

Puzzled, Megan asked.

“My friend.”

Brian did not dare to say it directly, afraid that the kids could not accept it all of a sudden.

“Friend? Or girlfriend?”

Luke focused on the problem with a dark face.

Brian was again in a dilemma.

“Yes, my girlfriend.”

Hearing that, Megan immediately let go of his hand. She did not look at Gloria, because no matter how

she looked, she was not as beautiful as her mother, no matter what kind of person she was, she was

not as good as her mother.

Megan stared at Brian with hurt eyes and asked before her father's explanation.

“The girlfriend Great Grandpa asked you to marry?”

Megan waited for her dad's answer, hoping he said no.

Yet again she was disappointed.

“Yes.”

Brian felt it was unprecedented and cruel, which could be life-long psychological damage to the kids.

But he had to say it, because sooner or later they had to face it.

Megan did not ask again, but turned to Vanessa.

“Aunt, I want to go home. I don't want to be here.”

Megan cried, threw in the arms of her aunt. She couldn't accept it but she couldn't change it. The only

thing she could do was to cry.

“Don’t cry, Megan, I will take you home.”

Vanessa said and picked up Megan.

At this time, Luke only had disappointment in eyes.

“Wish you and Gloria happy, Dad.”

Luke was unable to change it too, he could only see that his dad to be with another woman. He was

sad, but he would not cry.

Luke then turned to take his mother's hand and walked away. His firm pace, his small disappointed

back made Brian sad.

Luke's blessing was like a bullet in the heart of Brian, instantly he had no perception, instantly he

remembered his commitment and the encouragement to the kids.

Luke became proud of him through his own efforts, but he did not honor his promise. He said he was

going to marry another woman in front of his kids.

There was nothing more heart-wrenching and cruel in the world.

Originally it was a happy mountaineering but because they met Brian, they felt sad. One cried and the

other was silent. Winnie had been comforting them and the kids did not cheer up until she said she

would take them to see Jelly Bean.

Vanessa did not go home directly but to the library, and Winnie went home with two kids to change

clothes. When they were ready to go, Isobel sent her a video calling.

“Wait a minute, talk to grandaunt before we go.”

Winnie took two kids back to the living room and picked up the video calling.

“Aunt.”

“Grandaunt.”

Megan and Luke said hello to Isobel.

“Dear, you are so good. I miss you.”

“We miss you, too.”

Megan said with a smile, temporarily forgot the grievance her father brought.

“Are you as obedient and sensible as before?”

“We are more sensible and obedient than before.”

Megan always knew how to talk to make adults happy.

“Good, I am relieved that you are doing well.”

Isobel missed them and could only see them video.

“Aunt, why do you get up so early?”

Winnie calculated the time difference and knew that it had not yet dawn at her aunt's side.

“We've just finished work and haven't slept yet.”

Isobel was tired but seeing the kids made her have a good mood.

“Are you still up at this hour? Are you tried? Can you take it?”

Winnie immediately felt distressed. Her aunt was not young, if she often stayed up late, her health

would have problems.

“Don't worry, today is the first day. And I'm the conductor. The young guys do the work. I have no health

problems, neither you nor Vanessa need to worry about me.”

“How is everything going? How are Vanessa and the kids' father doing?”

Isobel changed the topic, afraid Winnie would be worried.

“Vanessa is good and the kids’ father...”

Winnie wanted to be perfunctory, but Megan cried at this moment and told the fact that Brian and

Winnie had broken up.

“Grandaunt, dad and mom broke up.”

“They are good, but my brother and I are not good.”

Megan could not control her emotions, thinking of the separation of mom and dad, thinking of the fact

that she and her brother had no home. She could not accept it, never.

“Broke up?”

Isobel was very surprised.

“Yes, aunt.”

Winnie put Megan in her arms and gave her answer.

“What about the kids? Who gets custody of them?”

Isobel asked with worry, afraid the Bennet family had the kids.

“I have custody of the kids, but Rufus takes care of them for me now. In fact, we broke up a long time

ago, before you went to Africa. I didn't tell you in case you were worried.”

Winnie said.

Although Isobel had been hoping Winnie and Brian break up, but she was very disappointed in Brian at

this moment.

“We don't worry if the kids are ours. But I am disappointed in Brian. I wanted him to take care of you

while I am away, but he broke up with you now.”

Isobel was worried again. She was afraid no one took care of the two sisters or helped them when they

had a problem.

“Aunt, you don't have to worry. I am a man, I have grown up, I can take care of Mom, Aunt Vanessa

and my sister.”

Luke said after a long time of silence, which touched Isobel.

“Good boy. I'm relieved to have you around them. I believe that you can take care of the

family.”
