Luke knew that he could not make such achievement on his own, and he knew that Uncle Oscar was
devoted to him. He should be grateful and should know all this did not belong to his own.
"Well, it's up to you. You can do whatever you want."
"By the way, Morgan, did Brian say when he would be back?"
Winnie did not know the exact itinerary of Brian, nor where he went. She had book the flights, but she
was afraid that Brian could not come back on time, so she asked Morgan.
"Mr. Bennet said he'll be back in the evening if things go well with his work and he'll be back in the
morning if it does not go well. You booked the flights at noon, and Mr. Bennet said he'll come back
before time."
Morgan had been in contact with Brian, so he knew all the whereabouts of Brian.
"Oh, I hope he won't miss the plane. Is he not in this city?"
Winnie asked. From what Morgan’s, it was not difficult to guess that Brian was not in this city.
"No. Mr. Bennet has gone to the same city as he went last time with Wendy."
Morgan accidentally mentioned Wendy, but did not say the specific name of the city.
"Try to get his memories back again?"
Winnie was stunned for a moment before she asked this question.
"It's for work. But I think Mr. Bennet would go to the scene if time permits."
This was Morgan's experience. Every time Brian went to that city, Mr. Bennet would go to the scene no
matter he was available or not.
"Wendy was there last time. Could she help? Didn’t she remember anything?"
Winnie had never asked Brian this question, because she knew that Wendy was not that woman and
she did not want to bother Brian.
She thought if Brian wanted to let her know, he would say it out. If he did not want to let her know, it
would only make it hard for him. She didn't want to be the one to be hated and make things difficult for
others.
"She remembered something. She said the accident was solved on the spot, but she said she did not
remember the rest."
Morgan could only play it down.
Mr. Bennet must not have told Winnie, otherwise Winnie would not ask him. If he said too much, he
would find it hard to explain to Mr. Bennet.
"Wendy said it was solved on the spot?"
Winnie suspected Wendy. She did not know anything but she said it was solved on the spot. Was she
confusing Brian’s memory, or did someone tell her so, or was she still lying to please Brian?
Jonny followed Winnie for almost a day, but Winnie was accompanied by a man throughout the day. He
had seen this man before. He had seen him next to Brian. He was not either his secretary or his
assistant.
From their conversation, he knew that this man's name was Morgan.
In short, he did not have any chance. Even Winnie went to the bathroom, he would stand outside, more
thoughtful than Brian.
It seemed that this man was also a bodyguard. It must be that after what happened last time, Brian
sent him to protect Winnie carefully because he was worried.
Jonny could understand some of their language, so he could know that they were talking about. Maybe
he could find time to go to Winnie's room in the evening.
Jonny continued to track Winnie. Until the night Winnie took the children back to the room, Morgan
finally no longer followed Winnie.
With a random purchase in his hand, Jonny strode to the door of Winnie's room and knocked.
"Mom, someone's knocking at the door."
Winnie was helping Megan to have a bath. Luke heard the knock on the door in the living room, he
loudly called Winnie.
"I am coming."
Winnie asked Megan to wait for her, and then hurried out of the bathroom.
"Do you know who it is?”
Winnie asked Luke.
"I don't know. I didn't open the door. I didn't ask."
Luke answered his mother while watching TV.
At this time Winnie had walked to the door, through the door viewer, she saw Jonny.
Winnie hesitated for a moment and then opened the door a bit.
"What can I do for you?"
Winnie asked expressionless. Jonny frequently appeared when Brian was not around, which made her
she feel disgusted.
"Miss Chambers, I need your help. May I go in?"
Jonny said with a friendly smile on his face.
"Mr. Jonny, I'm sorry, but I'm alone. You cannot go in. Let's talk here."
Winnie refused directly, and she was dissatisfied with Jonny's request.
"Well, I'll say it here... I... I can’t explain clearly with a few words. The kids are in, it will be ok I go in."
The smile on Jonny's face grew more and more sly. He was anxious and did not want to miss this
opportunity, so he made an excuse to go in.
Then Jonny stretched out his hand to push the door, and deliberately put his hand on Winnie's hand
holding the door.
But his behavior made Winnie unhappy and sick. Winnie withdrew her hand, pushed her foot against
the door with a frown, and her expression became cold.
"Jonny, I didn't invite you in. You're being rude. I'm sorry, but whatever it is, I can't help you."
Winnie said sternly and directly closed the door with great force. But Jonny was so strong that the door
couldn't close. At this time, Luke found that something was wrong, and quickly ran to push the door
with his mother. He shouted at Jonny loudly.
"What are you doing? You're not invited in, what you are doing is annoying."
"No, I mean no harm. I really need your mother's help. Miss Chambers, don't get me wrong. I just want
you to bring something to Wendy for me."
Jonny tried to explain, but he didn't let go as he spoke. He kept pushing the door with force.
"I can't help you. You can deliver it to her."
Winnie refused with a stern voice, but she and Luke could not close the door. Winnie was so angry and
then said to Luke.
"Son, go and call Uncle Morgan and tell him to come over now."
Winnie spoke to Luke in her language, but Jonny understood her.
"Miss Chambers, what are you talking about? I really mean no harm. This is what Wendy made me
buy. She said she wanted you to bring it back. I'm trying to help. I don't mean anything."
"I said I won't bring anyone's stuff back. Mr. Jonny, if you really mean nothing, why do you insist on
going in? Why are you pushing my door so hard? Don't you know it's..."
Winnie wanted to say that Jonny's behavior was against the law, but before she finished, Jonny was
suddenly pulled away.
She and Luke were resisting his strength. As his strength suddenly disappeared, Winnie shut the door
at one, making a huge noise.
Because Winnie did not see how Jonny suddenly released, so she looked out from the door reviewer,
only to know that Brian was back, so she opened the door.
He pulled Jonny aside with great strength and Jonny almost fell down.
"What are you doing, Mr. Bennet?”
Jonny looked at Brian with panic. He clearly heard that Brian would not come back at night. Did he hear
it wrong? Now all of a sudden Brian showed up. His plan failed and he did not know how he should
explain.
"What am I doing? You still asked me what I am doing? My wife refused to let you in. Didn't you hear
her? Can't you understand that she talked to you in your language? Don't you understand that she said
she won't bring anything for anyone? What's wrong with Wendy? Do we have to bring Wendy
something? You have heard everything and understood everything. Why did you insist on going in?
Should I say for you what you want to do?"
Brian was angry and rebuked Jonny domineeringly.
From the moment he laid eyes on Jonny, he knew he was no good. As expected, he actually took
advantage of his absence to see Winnie with misbehavior.
Luckily, he was back. If he didn't come tonight, Jonny would break in.
"Mr. Bennet, you can't talk like that. It's a false accusation. I can take legal action, you know."
Jonny was afraid but he had to say so. He could not admit everything that Brian had said. It would be
his responsibility if he admitted.
When Brian heard Jonny's excuse like a rogue, he was even angrier and punched Jonny without
saying anything. This punch in Jonny's face would have knocked his teeth out.
Unfortunately, Winnie stopped Brian timely to save Jonny from suffering.
“Brian, don't. If you hit him, we won't be able to leave tomorrow."
Winnie said this in the dialect of the B City because she could tell that Jonny understood some of the
language of her country, so that he could not figure it out.
"Such a man should be hit. He has evil intentions towards you. If I hadn't come back..."
He was still angry and terrified of what would happen if he didn't come back.
"It is ok, Luke has called Morgan."
Winnie comforted Brian, knowing that he was worried and angry.
As Winnie’s voice fell, Morgan rushed over.
"Mr. Bennet, what happened?"
Morgan did not know what was going on. Luke called him only to let him come quickly, and did not say
what had happened.
"He is a friend of Wendy, this is Wendy's bullshit friend. With the excuse to ask Winnie to bring things to
Wendy, he wanted to intrude into Winnie’s room."
Brian said briefly, and then looked at Morgan.
“Do you think he should be hit?”
Morgan was angry and understood Brian’s meaning. He kicked Jonny directly without saying anything.
Morgan hit Jonny hard, but the force was reduced when his foot touched Jonny, because Winnie
stopped him.
"Morgan, don't listen to Mr. Bennet. We are abroad, we can't make trouble. And we have our hotel
here, and he's local. If he comes and disturbs our business while we're gone, it won't be easy."
Winnie persuaded Morgan in dialect. She didn't want to make a big deal. She was leaving tomorrow.
Even though Jonny had bad intention, he would meet her again.
"Sis Winnie, we can’t spare him. It doesn't have to be that simple, someone may be behind him."
"Get out of the way, Sis Winnie, I will beat him hard and see if he has any accomplices and if it is
intentional to you."
Morgan was in high spirit, but his words reminded Winnie of the foreign man who had called her.
"Morgan, it's better to save trouble. If he does have accomplices, I am their target. He can't do anything
to me with you all around. We're leaving tomorrow. Don't make a scene."
Winnie persuaded anxiously.
