"Did you miss me while you were away?" On the way to the Witch Palace, Lena suddenly snuggled up

to Rocky and asked in a soft voice, ignoring the maids and the guards who were gossiping about them.

In fact, their dubious relationship was not a secret in the Palace City. Therefore, most people were not

surprised to see them together.

"Will you hit me if I say no?" Rocky replied with a mischievous smile at the corners of his mouth.

"No, I won't hit you." Lena shook her head. But she did do something else. In an instant, she planted a

kiss on Rocky's cheek.

"What are you doing?" Rocky was stunned by the suddenness of her action.

"If you didn't miss me, I am going to keep kissing you until you start to miss me every time we're away

from each other." Lena giggled mischievously.

Rocky was at a loss whether to cry or to laugh. Previously, Lena had not been so bold with him. She

had always kept her feelings hidden, and therefore, was a little reserved around him. But now that she

had already let her heart out to him, she had no scruples anymore. She was now the Witch of the Holy

Dragon Empire and thus could not marry Rocky. However, she was satisfied as long as she could stay

with him.

Fortunately, the journey was over soon and they arrived at the Witch Palace. In order to save Lena, the

ancient spiritual beast had destroyed the Witch Palace. But now, a new Witch Palace had been erected

there, almost the same as before, but more magnificent.

Once the two of them were inside, Lena took Rocky towards the entrance to the secret room. As she

waved her hand, a golden light shot into the wall and a section of the wall, shaped like a door, began to

crumble. Soon, the entrance to the secret room had appeared in the wall, revealing the passage that

led downstairs.

Inside the secret room, Rocky saw hundreds of records of various events, treasures and whatnot, all of

which were related to the Holy Dragon Empire. Also placed on the table in the center of the room was

The Witch's Book that he had seen once before. This book was specially used to record the events of

the Holy Dragon Empire.

"Why doesn't the Witch's Book contain any accounts of the holy treasure of the Dragon Master Clan?"

Rocky asked casually as his gaze fell on it. He had read the book once before, but had found no

records of the holy treasure anywhere in it.

"When the holy treasure was sent to the Holy Dragon Empire, it was a heavily guarded secret, and no

record of it is allowed to be kept. Even the first Witch left just a few records in her book," Lena

explained.

"I see." Rocky believed that sending the holy treasure to the Holy Dragon Empire so mysteriously was

justified and keeping it a secret was the right call. The holy treasure was the legacy of the first patriarch

of the Dragon Master Clan. And since the Dragon Master Clan possessed hundreds of other spiritual

weapons and treasures, he couldn't find a proper explanation as to why it was the legacy of the first

patriarch that had been sent over and not something else.

Lena rummaged through the secret room for a while and finally retrieved a yellowing and thin notebook

from a pile of records. It was covered with dust from ages of lack of use.

"Here, this must have some records of the treasure." Lena handed the notebook to Rocky.

Rocky began to turn it over. Lena was right. Very soon, he found a page that mentioned the holy

treasure of the Dragon Master Clan. It wasn't just a basic discussion. Along with a whole paragraph

about it, there was also a picture of the holy treasure. In its full glory, the treasure was in the shape of a

mask.

Rocky somehow found the Holy Mask rather familiar.

"Isn't this..." He almost uttered a small murmur of surprise after examining the figure carefully. A part of

the mask looked almost congruent to the fragment he had found in the Myriad Spirit Tomb. Could it be

that the fragment was actually a part of the Holy Mask?

"Basil, are you okay?" Lena asked when she saw the surprised look on Rocky's face. She could tell

that the figure had shaken him a bit.

"Yes, I am okay." Rocky recovered himself and read what the book had to say about the Holy Mask. It

only had a few sentences to say about the Holy Mask, but one of them grabbed his attention.

"This object has been cursed. It is a source of great evil wherever it goes!" Rocky muttered. Judging by

what the book said, the Holy Mask was an extremely evil object. So much so that it was not supposed

to belong to the Dragon Master Clan. So how come it was the legacy of the first patriarch of the Dragon

Master Clan?

Rocky's eyes narrowed slightly as he pondered over the mystery. Obviously, this story was hiding some

sort of secret behind itself!

After a while, Rocky finished reading and handed the notebook back to Lena.

"Basil, this really does not look like a good thing. I don't think you should be interested in something like

this!" Lena warned him as she put down the notebook.

"I know. I was just curious." Rocky smiled calmly.

"Really? Look, I need to tell you something. Not long ago, I had a dream in which you were wearing a

mask and looked like an evil demon, floating high up in the sky. No matter how many times I called you,

you didn't respond to me. It was as if you were a total stranger. And the mask you were wearing looked

like this Holy Mask," Lena muttered after hesitating for a while. She had gone on high alert after seeing

the painting of the Holy Mask.

"Don't worry; it was just a dream. Don't take it too seriously," Rocky comforted her with a smile.

Lena didn't say anything, but she still had a bad feeling in her heart.

The two of them then walked out of the secret room and Rocky went back to the Crimson Palace to get

some rest.

Two days later, Bryant and Lance returned to the Imperial City. They set off from wherever they were

as soon as they had received Rocky's message. Once in the city, they immediately headed for the

palace.

Hearing that Bryant and Lance had come back, the emperor immediately gathered a few important

officials and called for Rocky. Not long after, the emperor, Rocky, the Three Great Generals of the Holy

Dragon Empire, and Lena had gathered in the Lofty Dragon Hall.

Without much ado, the emperor asked Rocky to repeat his plan in front of these officials and it caused

an uproar among all the officials present.

Even Bryant and Lance were shocked. According to them, Rocky's plan was too bold.

"Prince Crimson. We must warn you that it's not a joke to unify the Wild Spirit Land. Without the

support of the Dragon Master Clan, the Holy Dragon Empire needs to protect itself and that's a hard

task as it is. Unifying the Wild Spirit Land is an impossible task and we don't think it can be done!"

Bryant said in a serious tone. He too felt that Rocky's plan was too ambitious. Considering the current

strength of the Holy Dragon Empire, it would already be hard enough for the country to set a foothold in

the Wild Spirit Land.

Not only Bryant, the other officials also began looking at each other and whispering among themselves.

Most of them had an objection or many to this plan.
