"Basil, the Shura Race is already on the move. They sent out their major army, and it seems that they

are serious to finish us in one fell swoop," Colton said anxiously.

"I know. Prince Zain must be the one who leads the army this time. After all, it was his idea to suppress

both the human race and the spiritual race in order to establish his position on becoming the next king

of the Shura Race," Rocky replied rather calmly. At this point, he knew that the real war against the

Shura Race was about to commence in just a matter of time.

"What is the plan?" Colton asked expectantly.

"To be perfectly honest, we are going to lose as soon as the main army of the Shura Race shows up."

Rocky let out a frown as he told the truth. The only role of the spearhead was to test the strength of the

human race. But once the major army of the Shura Race took action, the human army had no way of

resisting them.

Colton's face darkened in disappointment and frustration.

"The Shura Race is superior in terms of military strength and spiritual warriors." Rocky heaved a heavy

sigh and added, "It seems that we really cannot fight them head-on unless the spiritual race supports

us."

"Well, that's exactly what the spiritual race believes in. Therefore, they don't want to risk anything by

helping us." Colton shook his head and despaired. He knew that if this went on, they could only watch

the fall of the human race.

"There is actually a way if we want to survive this catastrophe. However, it is extremely risky." Of

course, Rocky still had a plan to deal with their dilemma. However, to pull off something like this, the

risk that they had to take was so big that he could not see them agreeing to him.

"Why didn't you tell me about it sooner?" Despite this hopeless situation, Colton could only count on

Rocky. Whatever the young man had in mind, he would readily support it.

"The main reason why the Shura Race attacks the human race is so they can make us surrender.

Hence, we can pretend to surrender, but at the same time, we will secretly dispatch troops that will

sneakily attack the Shura Race's territory," Rocky said, elaborating his risky idea.

"Attack the Shura Race's territory? Can we really pull off something like that?" Colton was shocked

upon hearing Rocky's idea. He already heard crazy strategies from the young man before, but he still

wasn't used to it.

"Yes. If everything goes well, we can pull it off. Right now, we are undoubtedly inferior to the Shura

Race. Therefore, we have to find a way that they will least expect. Since they plan on taking us down in

one go, it means that most of their troops will be summoned to the battlefield. In fact, even warriors

from the nine fiefs have joined Prince Zain's army. Thus, it can be said that at this moment, the

defenses of the Shura Race are at their weakest. If we gather our strongest forces to pull off a sneak

attack on one of the fiefs, we can successfully seize it. Of course, that will be a big disgrace for the

arrogant Shura Race. Hence, they will do everything in order to take that fief back. However, since the

nine fiefs are in open and secret disputes with each other, the other fiefs will surely hesitate to help

them. In the end, only Prince Zain will rush back to save them. After all, he cannot let this disgrace

happen on his watch. If he doesn't go back, he will surely lose the support of the people from the Shura

Race. If he goes back, he will have to withdraw his army from the territory of the human race, and the

human race will be saved." Rocky analyzed and took everything into consideration, and this was the

best course of action that he could think of.

"This is indeed too risky! Something huge is at stake here." Colton was lost in thought after hearing the

entirety of Rocky's plan. This was definitely not a small matter, and it was something that he could not

decide on his own. If this plan somehow failed, the fate of the human race would already be sealed.

"Think about it carefully. We have a bit of time for now since the army of the Shura Race won't attack

us very soon. But the more quickly you can make your decision, the better. By the way, this plan should

be strictly confidential. We must act in utmost secrecy. Otherwise, it will easily be thwarted," Rocky

sternly warned.

"I know. I will call the chiefs of the Sky-suppressing Mansion and the Sovereign Pavilion and discuss it

with them right away. Hopefully, I could convince them to support us."

"Then, I'll wait for the good news." After saying that, Rocky cupped his hands and left.

A few days had passed.

At this time, the army of the Shura Race was already deployed in front of the human defense line,

ready for an all-out attack at any time. With the strength of their army, they were confident that it would

not take long before the human race collapsed before their eyes.

In the Ethereal Region, everyone was in jitters that even the small cities near the borders had already

been abandoned.

On the other hand, the members of Rocky's independent army were still taking their time to strengthen

their forces. Soon enough, they were about to take on a responsibility that was never been

accomplished in the history of the human race—successfully seize the territory of the Shura Race.

Of course, with the current overall strength of the independent army, it was still far from enough.

Hence, Rocky was patiently waiting for Colton, hoping that the chiefs of the Sky-suppressing Mansion

and the Sovereign Pavilion would agree to his plan.

A day later, Colton finally returned to Moon City and hurriedly met with Rocky.

"Chief Colton, how did things go? Did they agree?" Rocky asked.

However, Colton's face didn't seem to be enthusiastic at the least. He shook his head and said, "Both

of the chiefs refused to take this risk. They are afraid that if we provoke the Shura Race by executing

this plan, the entire human race will really cease to exist."

"So, what do they want? They would prefer to wait for their deaths?" Rocky did not expect that things

would eventually turn out this way. It seemed that until the end, the chiefs of the Sky-suppressing

Mansion and the Sovereign Pavilion wanted to play it safe.

"I actually know what they are thinking. At the back of the minds, they will be willing to submit to the

Shura Race when there is no other choice. With their status, they think that they can still enjoy a high

position even after surrendering to them. They are more contented with that than being annihilated."

Colton could not help but clench his fists, realizing the ugliness in their human hearts. "Anyway, I failed

to convince them. So, what should we do now? I actually don't want to watch the human race fall into

the hands of the Shura Race."

"Don't worry, I won't let that happen. I have been mentally prepared for this. It's such a shame that we

can't get more help, but it doesn't mean that I will give up. I will still lead the independent army and

continue the plan," Rocky replied with an unyielding spirit.

"Are you saying that you are going to attack the territory of the Shura Race with just your army?" Colton

asked, not expecting this from Rocky.

"Well, as I said before, this is the only way I could think to save the human race from this crisis," Rocky

said with a heavy heart.

"But with the strength and number of the soldiers of your independent army, I'm afraid that you might

not be able to conquer a fief of the Shura Race." Colton was not a pessimist but just a realist. From

what he could see, the independent army would not be enough to overcome a fief even if Rocky was

leading it. Unless Rocky had at least a hundred thousand soldiers, Colton could not see him

succeeding.

"Don't worry. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve. I could pull some strings in the Ghost Fief by using

my status as the Godly Genius. Although it is risky, as long as we achieve our end goal and save the

human race from danger first, we still have time to consider other things in the future."

"I see. Then, let me give you all of the twenty thousand soldiers from the Di Clan. This way, your

independent army might somehow increase its chance of winning. Also, I will ask two elders from the

Di Clan to assist you." This might be their last chance to save the human race, so Colton wanted to do

his best to at least help Rocky overcome this seemingly impossible task.

"Thank you very much, Chief Colton. I'll make use of all your help to seize the victory," Rocky answered

with conviction.

Three days later, the two elders that were tasked by Colton to assist Rocky led twenty thousand

soldiers of the Di Clan to Moon City to meet up with Rocky's independent army.

With the addition of the soldiers from the Di Clan, Rocky now had fifty thousand soldiers at his disposal.

Additionally, he had more than twenty Spiritual Emperors and the two elders from the Di Clan, who

were premium-stage Spiritual Emperors. With this, the overall fighting power of the independent army

could not be taken lightly.

Because their mission was to be carried out in secrecy, Rocky did not explain anything to his army

before they set out. He did not even tell them where they were headed. He just ordered them to be fully

armed and prepared.

Moreover, he also captured some spiritual beasts in order to carry their provisions and fodders that

could last for several months.

When everything was finally ready, the independent army left Moon City and began their

expedition.
