"Huh? What happened?" Rocky was taken aback when he realized that he could not get through the

entrance to the fourth floor.

He tried several more times, but the result was just the same. He was pushed back repeatedly.

"What does this mean? Is it not recognizing my power, or does it require some other way of opening

it?" Rocky uttered, furrowing his brows.

Afterward, he tried something else. He simply released his true strength, which was close to the God

Realm.

Then, all of a sudden, the entire Heavenly Demon Tower shook violently as if it was greatly affected by

something.

In fact, even the members of the royal family, who were waiting for Rocky outside the Heavenly Demon

Tower, also felt the strong vibration in the tower. Of course, they were all surprised because they did

not know what was happening inside. However, they could faintly feel the unimaginably powerful aura

from within the tower that might be the cause of all this trembling.

Meanwhile, in the darkness of the top floor of the tower, a dark purple light suddenly flashed as if

something was awakened.

On the other hand, as Rocky released his real power, the entrance to the fourth floor produced a

suction force that instantly swallowed him. It turned out that he was right on using a different way to

open the door this time.

Upon reaching the fourth floor, he finally saw many martial spirits wandering around. Since only the first

three floors were opened to the warriors at the Shura Realm, the upper floors were still filled with

various martial spirits.

Moreover, Rocky sensed that almost all of these martial spirits were above the Shura Realm. Hence,

these would greatly boost his soul.

However, the moment Rocky appeared on the floor, it seemed that the martial spirits became afraid of

his aura. They dispersed in an instant as if they were hiding from him.

Since Rocky possessed Corey's power, it was just normal for these martial spirits to be scared of him,

so he speculated that they would not fight him head-on. Therefore, he thought of using the Earth-diving

Skill to hide his presence in a remote corner and wait for an opportunity to make a move.

Soon enough, a wandering martial spirit passed by Rocky's side. Thus, he wasted no time, absorbed

the spirit, and refined it using his spiritual power.

In less than two hours, Rocky was able to refine almost all of the martial spirits on the fourth floor.

Consequently, his soul broke through from being an Imperial Soul to a Fighting Soul. Now, his soul was

already close to the Shura Realm.

"Really? I have already absorbed so many powerful spirits, but it only made my soul a Fighting Soul? It

seems that cultivating one's soul is very difficult!" Rocky complained, a bit disappointed about the

result.

In fact, he was very lucky. After all, only very few warriors of the Shura Race were allowed to enter the

upper floors, and they were not able to refine all those powerful martial spirits. Therefore, in the end,

Rocky was still contented with what he achieved.

After wandering around the fourth floor, Rocky did not find anything special about it. Thus, he quickly

looked for the entrance that led to the next floor.

When he stood in front of the entrance to the fifth floor, he felt strange because it did not exert any

suction force or resistance. In other words, it appeared to be a normal door. So, without wasting any

time, he took the stairs and went straight up the next floor.

As he stepped on the fifth floor, a fragment of memory appeared in his mind. In it, it revealed a memory

that showed the exact appearance of the floor.

"It seems that King Corey has cultivated here before," Rocky murmured to himself. Moreover, it turned

out that Corey's memories of the tower stopped on the fifth floor. It meant that as Rocky proceeded to

the remaining floors, he would be on his own.

As Rocky looked around, he found the entire floor was really meant for cultivation. It had many rooms

where one could cultivate in seclusion.

Just like on the previous floor, he did not find anything special here either.

"That's strange. I expected that as I go to the upper floors, it will get more dangerous. Didn't they say

that a spirit of a demon is sealed somewhere here?" Rocky uttered while continuing to walk around.

He tried to search Corey's memories again, but he did not find anything about the demon.

Finding nothing even in Corey's memories, Rocky could not help but doubt if it was just a mere legend.

However, it should not be his primary concern. His main goal was to reach the top floor and use the

teleportation door there to get out of the tower. Once he accomplished that, the king would finally

entrust the Purgatorial Tripod to him.

Hence, Rocky started looking for the entrance to the sixth floor. Soon enough, he reached the end of

the floor. But at this moment, his attention was suddenly caught by a room nearby with a sealing

enchantment in front of it.

Curious as to what the room was for, he observed it carefully. On the outside, it seemed that there was

nothing strange in it, but he could clearly feel that a strange aura of a martial spirit was sealed inside.

"This enchanted barrier was set up by King Corey himself. So, if I use the God-killing Sword, I can

deactivate it, right?" After thinking for a while, Rocky succumbed to his curiosity and took out the God-

killing Sword. Just as he expected, the enchanted barrier instantly disappeared the moment he used

the God-killing Sword on it.

The moment the barrier vanished, the scene in front of Rocky also changed. It seemed that what he

was seeing before was just an illusion, and this was the real appearance of the room.

In an instant, he saw a fiery red martial spirit sitting with its legs crossed in the middle of the room. It

seemed that it was still asleep.

"What is with this martial spirit? Its aura is so unusual," Rocky mumbled. Although the aura being

emitted by the martial spirit was relatively weak, it was still close to the God Realm. It seemed to give

off a demonic aura that Rocky had already encountered before.

At this moment, the eyes of the fire-colored martial spirit, which had been motionless all this time,

suddenly flashed with a dazzling light. As if it had finally woken up, it stared at Rocky with its nether

fire-like eyes.

"Who the hell are you? What at you doing here?" the fiery martial spirit asked in an extremely hoarse

voice, not amused by the unexpected visitor.

"Are you a member of the demonic race?" Rocky asked, even though he did not think that it was the

case.

"The demonic race? Ha! What an insulting thing to say! I am the king of the giant demon race!" Hearing

this, Rocky was a bit stunned.

It was true that he had seen and fought with some of the members of the giant demon race before.

Hence, he realized that it might be the reason why this spirit's aura was somewhat familiar. After

thinking for some time, Rocky assumed that the martial spirit might be telling the truth. After all, Corey

was sent to the Ghostly Demon Land back then to deal with the giant demon race. Perhaps, this martial

spirit was brought here to be sealed off.

However, although Rocky believed that the martial spirit was a member of the giant demon race, he

had doubts that it was their king.

"Since you bothered to come here and unseal the enchanted barrier, how about you become my

servant?" the martial spirit haughtily asked.

"Be your servant? No thanks. In fact, I think I'm just going to seal you up again." From what Rocky

could see, the power of the martial spirit was far from its original state, so it definitely wouldn't be his

match.

"Wait a minute!" Upon seeing that Rocky was not someone he could easily deceive, the martial spirit

became a bit anxious. "Do you have anything you want? Take me away from here, and I will fulfill it for

you."

"I am not interested. Moreover, even if I told you my wish, I highly doubt that you can make it happen."

Of course, Rocky knew that he could not strike a deal with this martial spirit. If he let it out, it would

surely cause chaos in the outside world. After all, Corey must have a good reason why he sealed it in

the tower.

However, just as Rocky was about to establish an enchanted barrier to seal the martial spirit again, a

strange aura rushed out from its body and spread out in an instant. "What do you think you're doing?!"

the martial spirit roared.

The force it unleashed was so enormous that it managed to shake the entire Heavenly Demon Tower.

Outside the Heavenly Demon Tower, the king and the other royal members were utterly confused to

see the tower tremble again. It had never happened before, and they did not know what could be

causing it.

On the other hand, Rocky felt an irresistibly strong pressure that was about to engulf him. In a flash, he

sensed that he was losing control of his own body.

At the same time, the martial spirit started approaching Rocky, as if it was trying to take control of him.

But out of nowhere, the God-killing Sword activated in itself. It then unleashed a holy power that bolted

out like a lightning flash, repelling the martial spirit away.

"That is the God-killing Sword! Why do you have it? What is your relationship with that guy?" The

martial spirit glared at Rocky with pure hatred, knowing that he was connected to Corey.

"I am this sword's master now!" Rocky firmly declared. At this moment, he had fully regained control of

his body again.
