"Don't forget what you have promised me today. If you forget, I can easily take out the Heavenly Ice

Soul from her body at any time. Her life solely depends on you and your word now." After saying that,

Ice Queen quickly waved her white sleeve and immediately flew into the air, turning into an icy light and

disappearing in the sky.

Rocky put down Alyssa when Ice Queen left. After standing still, Alyssa covered her chest with both her

hands because she clearly felt that something strange was happening in her body. The power of the

Wood Clan had completely disappeared from her body and was replaced by another icy power.

However, this new icy power was stronger than her previous power of the spiritual race.

"Don't do anything stupid again!" Rocky angrily exclaimed, glaring at Alyssa.

Alyssa looked at Rocky with a trace of bitter sadness in her eyes

"The reason I didn't explain to you why I killed your brother was because he had been controlled by

Alston. You probably didn't know that the forbidden item of the Wood Clan had been sealed in your

brother's body." Rocky finally told Alyssa the truth. He didn't want to repeat the same mistake. If he had

known what would happen today, he should have told Alyssa the truth long ago. This tragedy wouldn't

have happened if he had made the right decision before.

"What? The forbidden item? Why didn't my grandma tell me about it?" Alyssa was also surprised to

hear that because she had no idea of it at all.

"I think the reason why Elder Evita didn't tell you the truth was because she was worried that you might

do something stupid. After all, the forbidden item is not something good," Rocky seriously said.

"I didn't expect that the forbidden item was in my brother's body all this time. I didn't even notice it at all,

and I even..." It was hard for Alyssa to imagine that she had wronged Rocky when it was Alston's fault

in the first place.

"This is not the right time to talk about this. What are you planning to do next? Are you going back with

me or...?" Rocky coldly looked at Alyssa.

"I will go back first to see Alston," Alyssa said with a determined look on her face.

"What? Why? The misunderstanding between you and Basil has already been cleared up. There is no

need for you to come back to Alston at all," Marcia asked in confusion.

"Lena is still in Alston's hands, right? I will take responsibility for the grave mistakes that I have made. I

originally planned to open a path of victory for you with my death, but I didn't expect that I could

actually come back to life. It seems that this suicide note is useless now," Alyssa said as she took out a

letter from her pocket. She wrote this letter to tell something important to Rocky after she died.

"What is it then?" Rocky asked.

"It's nothing. I'm alive now, so it doesn't matter anymore," Alyssa firmly said as she destroyed the

suicide note.

"You mentioned the road of victory, which means...?" Marcia continued to ask her.

"The real reason why I joined Alston is not only to take revenge on Basil, but also to deal with Alston. I

have always known that the main culprit of all this is Alston. That's why I tried my hardest to gain his

trust," Alyssa briefly explained.

Upon hearing what she said, Rocky and Marcia immediately exchanged glances with each other.

"Ever since you asked the Magic Phoenix Empire to give up their defense, I've already understood your

plan. So, I decided to play along and made up my mind to form a defensive line among the three

countries. But I have left a fatal weakness in the defense line of the Holy Dragon Empire. This is what I

wanted to tell you in my suicide note. If you take advantage of this weakness, you can directly attack

the Imperial City and deal with Alston." Alyssa continued explaining her plan in detail.

Rocky was surprised to hear that. He didn't expect that Alyssa would take Alston's trust for granted and

create an opportunity to give Alston a fatal blow.

"So, I have to go back and buy some time for you. This will also prevent Alston from getting suspicious.

However, since I lost this battle, Alston will probably take back my military power and rearrange the

army. So, I'm afraid that you don't have much time left. You must act as soon as possible. This is

probably the only chance for you to directly deal with Alston. There's only two thousand members of

the spiritual race now in the Imperial City. If you could gather the power of the Wood Clan, Dragon

Master Clan, Butterfly Divine Clan and Phoenix Master Clan, they should have a big chance to win

against Alston. If you can kill Alston, everything will be finally over. Basil, it's all up to you now." Alyssa

seriously looked at Rocky because he was the only one who could actually deal with Alston.

Rocky nodded seriously at her words.

"Then I'll go now." Alyssa suddenly thought of something and added guiltily, "Please say sorry to Isis for

me. I didn't really plan to deal with her father by ambushing. I just wanted to make it look like I was

actually doing something to gain Alston's trust, but I didn't expect that her father would be seriously

injured in the end."

"Alright, I will tell her," Rocky replied with a stern nod.

With that, Alyssa flew into the air and disappeared.

"We must go too. It's finally time to give Alston a fatal blow," Rocky said to Marcia coldly and arrogantly,

and then he quickly waved his sleeve and left.

Since Alyssa had already created an opportunity for him to directly deal with Alston, Rocky certainly

wouldn't let her down. When he rushed back to the base camp of the United Army, he immediately sent

out a message asking the other two United Armies to withdraw to the base camp as they would need to

discuss a long-term plan.

A few days later, Bryant and Isis were back with the armies they led.

Then, Rocky gathered all the people and told them about the matter with Alyssa. Naturally, it caused a

lot of doubts among the others.

"How sure are you that we can really trust Alyssa?" Bryant asked as his sharp eyes darkened.

"She ambushed and killed my father. I will never forgive her for that." Isis was indignant about the

matter.

"Alyssa used to lead our enemy's army, but now she suddenly said that she worked undercover for us.

It's really doubtful."

Obviously, everyone was suspicious at Alyssa's intentions and didn't want to trust her.

Rocky also knew that their doubts were reasonable. After all, the United Army wouldn't have fought so

hard if it weren't for Alyssa.

"I know that she wouldn't lie to me. The reason why she joined Alston was to get her revenge on me.

But now our misunderstanding has been finally cleared up. She doesn't have any reason to be against

me anymore!" Rocky patiently explained.

"Your Royal Highness, everybody is unpredictable. It's better to be careful," Bryant said in a low and

harsh voice.

Everyone else nodded in agreement. They really didn't want to trust her.

Rocky looked around and knew that it would be difficult to convince everyone to believe in Alyssa

again.

"As for what Alyssa said, Basil and I will find out the truth first. If what Alyssa said is true, then we can

act," Marcia seriously continued.

"Well, we must quickly find out the truth first. But even if what she said is true, we can't take that risk

easily. What if it's a trap deliberately left by Alston?" Bryant cautiously said. He didn't want to suffer

more losses in this war anymore.
