"I can't. My job is to protect the holy land. It was the last thing my former master asked of me. I hope

you can forgive me for staying behind," the Wind Monster said, further proving how loyal and

responsible he was.

"That's fine with me. See you later!" When Rocky was done speaking, he leapt into the whirlpool that

filled the gap beyond the cliff.

Before long, Rocky could spot a dim light ahead of him. A few seconds later, his feet landed in a dark

cave. After observing his surroundings, he knew that he had returned to the lair of the Nether Dragon

King.

When his eyes had adapted to the light, he left the cave.

"I wonder how is Valeria doing now..." The first thing he needed to do was to find Valeria. She was

tasked with subduing the Nether Dragon King, so if he searched the depths of the Nether Dragon

King's lair, he would be able to locate her.

Nodding his head, he walked deeper into the Nether Dragon King's lair.

The day after Rocky had returned to the Nether Dragon King's lair, Valeria, Gloria, and Purple finally

reached the depths of the Nether Dragon King's lair. They had overcome plenty of dangers along the

way and now, they were facing the legendary, intelligent beast, the Nether Dragon King.

The Nether Dragon King's body looked like a dragon's. A long, narrow face and fangs that were

powerful and sharp could be seen from a distance. The beast's skin was solid like it was made from

iron or copper. Just one glance was enough to deter most people from fighting the beast.

Currently, the Nether Dragon King was battling against Israel.

He had arrived a few days ago. Straight away, he had approached the beast and tried out different

subduing methods. Unfortunately, the Nether Dragon King was too strong and Israel was left with no

other options but to subdue the beast using force.

However, Israel wasn't strong enough to do it successfully. He had used all his skills and the spiritual

treasures that he had specially prepared for the beast, but he was still unsuccessful.

Quentin and Drew were also present. They were both standing in the dark and observing the fight,

waiting for the right time to take action.

Originally, Valeria and Gloria's plan had been to destroy the alliance between Quentin and Drew, but

they hadn't seen the two men on their journey. Therefore, they didn't have the chance to take action.

Now that the Nether Dragon King was in front of them, they had to forget about Quentin and Drew and

concentrate on subduing the beast.

"It looks like the Nether Dragon King is more powerful than we thought. Even the Godly Genius of the

Primitive Fief is struggling to subdue it even when he is using the demonization skill," Valeria

commented with a frown. She had been worrying about the task of subduing the Nether Dragon King

for a while now.

"If we work together, it might be possible. But if we fight the beast alone, there's absolutely no chance,"

Gloria replied.

"I agree with you," Valeria said. Gloria looked at her with slightly wide eyes. The two of them agreeing

was a rare occurrence.

"Purple, you stay here," Gloria said. According to the rules, only Godly Geniuses could carry out the

mission of subduing the Nether Dragon King. So Gloria asked Purple to stay out of it.

Then, Gloria shouted, "Quentin, you little bastard, come over here!"

Quentin looked everywhere, feeling very confused. Out of the entire Shura Race, there were only a few

people who dared to address him like that. Drew nudged him and pointed at Gloria. Quentin tilted his

head. He didn't know that Gloria was coming too.

Because of the good relationship between the Purgatory Fief and the Genie Fief, Quentin and Gloria

had known each other for a long time. However, they didn't like each other. In Gloria's opinion, Quentin

was just a little kid and Quentin believed that Gloria was nothing but a vixen.

"Oops! A vixen is calling me!" Now that Gloria was there, Quentin refused to stay hidden. He walked

out into the light

with Drew following on his heels.

Valeria slowly walked over to join them.

"Who are you referring to? It better not be me!" Gloria snapped, pointing an accusing finger in

Quentin's direction.

"And this must be Valeria, the Godly Genius of the Flower Fief," Quentin said, turning to face Valeria

with a playful smile on his face. A veil was covering most of her features, but her beauty could not be

blocked.

Valeria nodded in response.

"I'm Drew, the Godly Genius of the Elite Fief. It's such an honor to see you both here, Miss Gloria and

Miss Valeria. I've heard of your beauty many times. I can see with my own eyes that you live up to your

reputation," Drew said, trying to get closer to them. His eyes mainly looked at Gloria. Apparently, he

found her the most attractive.

Gloria noticed the way Drew looked at her, so she winked at him and gave him a coquettish smile. "I've

heard that the Godly Genius of the Elite Fief is the most handsome man in the Elite Fief. Now I know

it's the truth."

"I'm flattered!" Drew's eyebrows rose so high that they reached his hairline.

"Don't fall under the vixen's trap, Drew. Her enchantment skill can't be underestimated!" Quentin

warned, punching Drew on the arm. He was quite familiar with Gloria, so he was more cautious around

her than other men were. He was sure that Gloria had a reason for calling them over.

However, Drew had chosen to ignore his warning. His eyes were still glued on Gloria.

"You two were watching the fight, so I'm sure you've noticed that the Nether Dragon King is very

powerful and can't be beaten by a single Godly Genius. Therefore, I have a suggestion. What if the four

of us work together and defeat the beast once Israel is exhausted? After that, we can compete to

subdue the beast with our own abilities," Gloria offered.

"If it was Miss Valeria's suggestion, I would have considered it. But if it's yours? No. I don't think you're

that kindhearted..." Quentin answered. Although he was young, he was bright. He was well aware that

Gloria just wanted to take advantage of him and Drew.

"If you don't want to do that, I won't force you," Gloria said. Then, with a charming smile on her face,

she turned to look at Drew and asked, "Hey, Drew, would you like to join us?"

"Yes, of course. I'd love to! I think your plan is amazing!" Drew said all in one breath while repeatedly

nodding his head. He seemed to be unable to resist Gloria's enchantment skill and had fallen

completely under her spell.

Quentin gritted his teeth. He didn't know that Drew had such weak willpower.

"Well, I think the three of us are enough to deal with the beast. Quentin, I am giving you one more

chance. Are you willing to join us?" Gloria asked with a quick glance in Quentin's direction. She had

expected him to refuse her plan, but now that Drew was on her side, their chances of winning had

increased.

"Bitch, you've convinced me! Count me in!" Quentin knew that he had lost Drew and that he would be

fighting alone. Therefore, there was no chance of him winning unless he joined the other three. After

they defeated the Nether Dragon King, he would try to subdue the beast on his own.

"Awesome! Let's get ready to fight!" Gloria declared with a smile.

Soon, the four Godly Geniuses and Purple had reached the bottom of the lair.

Israel's battle with the Nether Dragon King had ended and he was obviously exhausted. A bad feeling

swept over him when he saw five people approaching him.

"I'm really sorry, Israel, but the Nether Dragon King is ours now," Gloria stated.
