In terms of fame and popularity, Rocky was severely outclassed by the other eight Godly Geniuses.

They were leaps and bounds beyond him.

But still, his confidence never wavered. He knew he had to make up for his lack of popularity with his

performance. After all, the true duty of a Godly Genius was to assist their leader.

Everyone had their eyes on each of the nine's performance. However, no one expected that one would

quickly stand out among the rest. In only half a month, he was already the most famous Godly Genius

thanks to his prowess and sheer talent.

The Godly Genius was Israel Mo from the Primitive Fief, the second most powerful among the nine

fiefs.

Even before being crowned as a Godly Genius, Israel displayed unrivaled strength and skill. His name

echoed all throughout the nine fiefs as a powerful warrior at the Emperor Realm. After becoming a

Godly Genius, he was tasked to lead the fight for the Primitive Fief.

Just a few days ago, the vanguard led by Israel attacked a city in the Purgatory Fief and killed the

major general in charge of defending it. As a result of achieving such a feat, his name spread even

more like wildfire, and his divine power greatly increased.

The other Godly Geniuses didn't let him hog all the attention. After seeing what he had done, they each

displayed their own strength that was matched only by a handful. Their divine power increased too, not

willing to be overshadowed by their peer.

However, as the Godly Genius of the Ghost Fief, Rocky didn't make an effort to showcase his strength

or to become famous.

This made everyone watching speculate if the Godly Genius of the Ghost Fief would be the weakest of

the nine. The doubts spread quickly and reached Gilbert's ears in no time. Hearing this, he grew

restless and anxious.

To help ease his troubled mind, Gilbert ordered his men to summon Rocky.

"How's the progress of your cultivation of the divine power recently?" Gilbert went straight to the point.

"There is not much progress," Rocky answered frankly.

"Is it possible that learning medical skills doesn't help with cultivating the divine power?" Gilbert asked

in a worried tone.

"I'm afraid that's not the case. Medical skills need to be mastered step by step in order to be

successful. At this rate, I'm still far from reach the level of my master," Rocky explained.

"Although it is true that the cultivation of the divine power can't be rushed, the other Godly Geniuses

have all made too much progress to be ignored. I hope you can also do the same. Why don't you follow

my arrangements to cultivate?" Gilbert said in a euphemistic tone. He was not satisfied with Rocky's

progress.

"Leader, don't worry. I will catch up with other Godly Geniuses in a month," Rocky promised him with

much confidence in his voice.

"If you say so, then I'll give you a month. If you still haven't progressed by then, you'll have to cultivate

according to my method," Gilbert said after thinking for a while.

"Okay, but if I make it, please don't interfere with my cultivation in the future." Rocky also put forward a

condition of his own.

"Okay," Gilbert nodded in agreement.

After shaking on the agreement, Rocky left the meeting hall and made his way back to the Ghost

Palace.

"Did the leader ask you about your progress in cultivating the divine power again?" Esteban asked as

soon as he saw Rocky come back.

"Of course he did," Rocky said with raised eyebrows.

"If I may add, your cultivation really is a step too slow. You do nothing but read medical books all day.

You should step outside and practice the knowledge you've learned. Who knows, you might even learn

a thing or two," Esteban suggested.

"Don't worry, I already made plans to practice medicine in the next couple of days," Rocky answered.

"What? You're going to practice medicine?" Esteban was taken aback.

"Yes. There must be some slum in the Ghost Capital with no doctor present. If I offer my services to

them, I can use it as an opportunity to improve my skills while helping those in need. It's like hitting two

birds with one stone." Anyone who knew him well could tell that Rocky wanted nothing more than to

cultivate the divine power. But from his past experiences, he learned that sheer strength wasn't always

enough to stand out. If he truly wanted to become a promising divine candidate and defeat the other

Godly Geniuses, he had to develop and master a different set of skills. With a master like Esteban by

his side, it would be a waste not to become a highly-skilled doctor. And so, he set his heart to become

the best doctor there ever was.

"That sounds good. But be wary, the Shura Race beings in the slum are not kind-hearted. I'm afraid

you may get yourself in trouble." Esteban thought it was a good idea, but he still reminded Rocky to be

careful.

"Master, can you be my bodyguard?" Rocky asked with a smile.

"Ha-ha! In your dreams. I have my own studies to attend to. If you want bodyguards, you can go ask

the leader." Esteban laughed at Rocky's request.

"Ha-ha. I think I better go out alone since my identity might be exposed if I have bodyguards with me.

Yes, that's right. I'd better go alone!" Rocky said with a bright smile. He enjoyed teasing his master.

"Are you sure you can go by yourself?" Esteban asked as he looked at Rocky with concern.

"I still have the ability to protect myself. I'd better head out while the sun's still shining. I'm going there

now!" With that, Rocky decided to head out.

"Then go and come back early." Esteban didn't say anything else. After telling Rocky the location of the

slum in the Ghost Capital, he went straight to continue his research.

Before embarking, Rocky made a stop at the pharmacy to prepare some medicinal materials he'd use

for treatment. After carefully wrapping them up, he put the medicine into a small bamboo basket. He

then changed his appearance, picked up the basket, and made his way towards the slum.

Since Rocky was already the Godly Genius of the Ghost Capital, he knew that people would easily

recognize him at a glance. He decided to disguise himself as another man to avoid any unnecessary

trouble.

After leaving the leader's mansion, he went to the northernmost end of the Ghost Capital, where the

poor people lived.

The center of the Ghost Capital was bustling with people, and tall, magnificent buildings reached the

sky above. However, the farther north he walked, the more gloomy the city grew. The towering

buildings were slowly replaced by makeshift houses cramped right next to each other. Members of the

Shura Race dressed in ragged clothes littered the streets.

At the northern end, the makeshift houses disappeared and were replaced by shabby tents filled with

weak and sickly people. Many of them were children and the elderly.

"I didn't expect that there would be such a miserable place in the Ghost Capital. I wonder what the

leader will think when he sees it. Or maybe he already knows." Rocky sighed.

Since there were so many people living in the slum, it was simply impossible for Rocky to treat them all.

He decided to cure those who needed medical attention the most.

Just as Rocky was deciding whom he should treat first, he heard a child's cry nearby. Sorrow and pity

filled his heart when he heard this.

Unable to control his feelings, he immediately walked over to see what was going on.
