The Medallion Chapter 1541 To Find My Companions

"What are you going to do after this?" Carla asked Rocky and Eunice after she had calmed down a little

and changed her clothes. Now she found out that the two of them journeyed to the Spiritual Sea

Region because of the Army-blessing Scroll. That was to say, the two of them didn't enter the Sky-

suppressing School for further cultivation at all. Now that they had found what they were looking for,

they could leave the school as soon as they got out of there.

But somehow, she hated that Rocky might leave the Sky-suppressing School so soon, as somehow,

she cared so much about him. Perhaps, it was because he saved her or some other reasons. Anyway,

if Rocky left, she would certainly feel out-of-sorts and slightly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Eunice also sent an uncertain glance at Rocky because she was feeling conflicted. The

Army-blessing Scroll had been integrated with Rocky, so it would be bad for her if he weren't willing to

return to the Di Clan with her. How was she supposed to explain what happened to the chief and

elders? She had to persuade Rocky to go back with her!

On the other hand, Rocky only accompanied Eunice to the Sky-suppressing School because she had

asked him to help find the Army-blessing Scroll. Now that they had completed the task, his promise

was also concluded. The only thing left for him to do was to find Marcia and the others as soon as

possible, and after that, he would try to leave this world.

At that moment, all three of them were preoccupied with the thousands of thoughts running through

their heads.

Neither Rocky nor Eunice broke the silence for a long time. Finally, Eunice couldn't help remarking,

"Well, whatever his plans are, if he doesn't come back with me to the Di Clan, I will have to follow him

wherever he goes. I have no other choice."

"It's not that I don't want to go back with you. I just have to find my companions before anything else."

Rocky clarified his part.

"You mean you are willing to go back with me once you've found your companions?"

Eunice's eyes lit up as if she had found hope at the end of the tunnel.

"Yes, I will,"

said Rocky casually, ignoring the growing smile on Eunice's face.

"If that's the case, then I will use all my connections to help you find your companions. But you have to

keep your promise!

Once you have found your companions, you will go back to the Di Clan with me," proposed Eunice

eagerly.

"Sure. It's a deal," Rocky agreed without any hesitation.

After all, he thought that he could find Marcia and others faster with Eunice's help.

"I'm glad to see you two have made peace," Carla chimed in.

She breathed a relieved sigh when she realized that the conflict between Rocky and Eunice had been

resolved.

"Humph! What peace? He's always trouble for me,"

Eunice protested immediately and looked away from Rocky, hiding the flustered look on her face.

"Basil, why are you in such a hurry to find your friends?"

Carla suddenly asked out of curiosity.

"I'm afraid that they're in danger, so I have to find them before it's too late," explained Rocky.

Of course, he couldn't tell her the entire truth, and lies rooted in the truth were easier to confess. He

could hardly admit that he was worried because they were from another land.

"Then, is there anything I can help you with?"

Carla asked out of kindness.

This made Rocky look at her with a smile before he was lost in thought. "How much do you know about

the border battlefield of the Ethereal Region?" he asked her after a while.

"The border battlefield?" Carla was stunned for a moment. She didn't expect that Rocky would ask

about the border battlefield, but she quickly recovered and answered worriedly, "I'm sorry, but I don't

know much about it. Are your companions on the battlefield?"

"Maybe,"

Rocky replied uncertainly, shrugging.

"Although I don't have much information about the border battlefield, my uncle, Myles, is the

commander-in-chief in the Sunny Pass. He might be able to help if you want to find someone on the

battlefield!"

volunteered Carla immediately.

"You know the commander-in-chief? That sounds great.

But is it okay to ask such a big favor from you? I don't want to bring you any trouble," said Rocky.

He could tell that Carla genuinely wanted to help him, but he didn't want to take advantage.

"It's not a big deal. Besides, I would be dead right now if you hadn't saved me. I feel like I owe you so

you can expect my help if you need it." While Carla said these things, she abruptly took off a jade

pendant from her waist and handed it to Rocky. "This phoenix jade belongs to me personally, so take

care of it. If you happen to pass through the Sunny Pass, you can go to my uncle and show it to him.

He will undoubtedly try his best to help you!"

"I'll take it. Thank you so much!"

Although Rocky didn't want to bother her, he knew that it wasn't the right time to care more about

etiquette. He couldn't miss any opportunity that might help him look for his friends, so he took the

phoenix jade and put it away.

"Okay then, I'll go first,"

Carla said in farewell, looking at Rocky with hesitation as if her feet didn't want to move away.

"We still have some time before we leave the Spiritual Sea Region. Won't you stay with us for a while?"

Rocky couldn't help but ask. Since their task had been accomplished, they could use this chance to

cultivate here and improve their strength as much as possible.

"No, I'd prefer to go alone. It's a personal habit. Don't worry; I'll definitely be careful. I won't make the

same mistake a second time," she assured Rocky.

At that moment, a pleasant warmth flooded her heart, knowing that Rocky was worried about her

safety. However, she quickly shook it away and left soon after.

"It seems that Miss Carla is infatuated with you,"

Eunice, who had been silent all that time, suddenly commented after Carla left. She had a sour look

lingering on her face.

"Don't talk nonsense! She's a lady from a big clan. I don't deserve her," Rocky immediately

reprimanded her, as he wasn't interested in love at all. He had other things to worry about after all.

"Don't dismiss her so quickly.

Perhaps, you didn't know before now, but this phoenix jade is an heirloom of their ancestors, and it's a

unique identity symbol. It's the only one in the Ethereal Region. Since she just willingly gave it to you,

that means she must be quite fond of you. Maybe she really wants you to be her future husband!

You're so lucky, brat," Eunice mocked him at once.

"Wha—what?!" Rocky spluttered.

"I'd better give this back to her!"

Rocky didn't want to take advantage of Carla, and he definitely didn't want to give her the wrong

impression!

"If you return that, you might not find your friends any time soon,"

Eunice reminded, rolling her eyes at him.

Her words made him hesitated for a bit until he eventually put away the jade and said, "I'll return it to

her later!"

"Stop pretending. I know you don't want to!"

In Eunice's eyes, Rocky wanted to be the Yu Clan's son-in-law already, and that was why she despised

him.

"Whatever you say, once we are out of the Spiritual Sea Region, we will leave the Sky-suppressing

School and go straight to the border battlefield to find my companions..."

Rocky resolutely decided.

"That's all I can do." Eunice knew that she had no choice but to compromise.

Before leaving, Rocky burned the corpse of the old woman together with the tree house, and the

Demonic Soul Wand became his prize. However, the wand was overwhelmingly evil because it was a

demonic weapon, so it could only be used as a decoration at most.

After that, Rocky and Eunice continued cultivating in the Spiritual Sea Region until it was time for them

to leave.

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye, and finally, it was time to leave the

region.
