“It’s your first time here, so don’t cause a scene. Also, I just received news from the Di Clan. They

mentioned someone I think you might be interested in,” Eunice quickly commented.

“Who?” Rocky asked with a frown.

"Alyssa Mu!" Eunice exclaimed as she locked her gaze on Rocky without batting her eyelashes.

“Alyssa? Where is she now?” Rocky asked as his expression turned serious.

“You do know her? What’s the relationship between you two?” Eunice asked with great interest.

“How did you come across this name?” he asked in haste, ignoring her seething tone.

“Because this name is known across the entire Supreme Ether Land,” she replied with a sneer.

“Why? What has she done?” Rocky asked, utterly confused.

“Three months ago, the spiritual race suddenly changed their battle strategy once the war between

them and the human race reached an impasse. We’d never seen it before. We lost five regions

consecutively within three months, and we’re now on the verge of losing the sixth one. After that, we

humans did our best to know more about the spiritual race’s army. How did they suddenly become so

powerful? Later, we finally got the news from our secret spies that the spiritual race suddenly won in

succession due to a new commander—a woman named Alyssa Mu. It was said that she suddenly

appeared in the spiritual race three months ago. We’re still clueless as to how she was suddenly

appointed commander in chief of the spiritual race,” Eunice quickly explained.

“Oh, I see. I didn’t expect Alyssa to be selected as the new commander in chief of the spiritual race!

Did she escape from the Shura Race? I can only imagine that; with her strength, nothing is impossible

for her!” Rocky shook his head and smiled.

“Who the hell is she?” Eunice inquired once more, her curiosity further piqued by Rocky’s reaction.

“She’s one of the people I’m trying to find. She was once the queen of a country!” Rocky explained with

a grin.

“The queen of a country? Are you sure?” Eunice asked once more, looking very skeptical.

“If you don’t believe me, there’s nothing I can do about it. But she truly is a genius, especially on the

battlefield when she leads armies to war. If she truly is the spiritual race’s new commander in chief, the

human race will be in grave danger,” Rocky remarked firmly. He knew Alyssa’s strength best. Back

then, she fought against him despite all the suffering she had endured, which displayed her wisdom

and courage. Although he defeated her in the end, Alyssa was still the strongest opponent he had ever

faced throughout his career as a commander in chief.

“Really?” Seeing how serious Rocky was, Eunice decided then and there to believe him.

“Of course.” Rocky nodded.

“I’ve heard she’s caused the human army tons of trouble. Colton, who’s in charge of the front line, is

the fifth strongest commander in chief in the entire Di Clan history. However, he is no match for her,”

Eunice commented.

“Certainly. She’s an exceptionally talented general who’s proficient in military tactics!” Rocky exclaimed

proudly. “Do you know how to get in touch with her?”

“No, I don’t. She sticks closely to the spiritual race as their new commander in chief. Unless you meet

her on the battlefield, you won’t be able to communicate with her elsewhere. So far, we’ve only heard

her name but have never met her in person!” Eunice shook her head and shrugged.

“Really? But now that I know she isn’t in danger and she’s the spiritual race’s new commander in chief,

I’m relieved. I’m going to find the others first.” Despite his relief, Rocky was still worried about Marcia

and the others.

“Anyway, I’ve held up my end of the bargain by being nice to you and accompanying you to the

battlefield’s border. I hope you can keep your promise!” Erica reminded Rocky with concern.

“Don’t worry. I’ll keep my promise!” Rocky pledged solemnly.

“Good. By the way, we may share the same room but you’re not allowed to enter it before midnight,”

Eunice warned again.

“Alright.” But Rocky didn’t pay much attention to her request. He spent the entire night in his Magic

Spiritual Space.

At midnight, Rocky morphed into a flash and soon arrived at the old locust tree where he instructed

Maxwell to meet him.

Soon, another black figure came over carefully.

“There you are!” Rocky exclaimed as he swiftly appeared in front of the black figure who was caught off

guard and was about to make a sound. But Rocky immediately placed his hand over the figure’s

mouth.

“Shh, be quiet! I’m taking you somewhere else. Close your eyes first!” Rocky said to Maxwell.

The latter nodded before he closed his eyes obediently.

Rocky quickly activated his Magic Spiritual Space. He entered it together with Maxwell and then

proceeded to the lab.

“Open your eyes!” Once they arrived at the lab, Rocky withdrew his hands from Maxwell.

The latter was shocked by everything in front of him once he opened his eyes. He’d never seen such a

peculiar place. The table, and the surrounding cabinets, were filled with various intriguing artifacts he

couldn’t identify.

“Where are we now?” Maxwell asked.

“No questions. Just do as I say.” By then, Rocky had already donned his white coat.

“Okay,” Maxwell replied dutifully.

“I’m now going to draw your blood for some basic tests.” As he spoke, Rocky began to extract blood

from Maxwell’s arm with a syringe.

Maxwell’s eyes widened with bewilderment as he witnessed his blood flow quickly into the test tube in

Rocky’s hand.

Once he drew three tubes worth of blood, Rocky disinfected and stopped the bleeding with a cotton

swab dipped in alcohol. After, he performed a comprehensive and systematic physical examination to

determine Maxwell’s health.

Two hours passed after the examination.

“Almost done. That’s all for today. I’ll send you back now,” Rocky informed Maxwell.

Maxwell didn’t fully understand yet what Rocky would do to him, but he trusted him because he saved

him. Even if he was to be sold, he would help Rocky count the coins.

“There are several bottles filled with pills here. They can replenish and strengthen your spiritual power

and body. You can take some like candies if you’ve got the time.” Rocky took multiple bottles of the

most common low-grade pills off the shelf for Maxwell to take. This would help him adapt to the impact

the spiritual power would have on his body.

Once Maxwell was informed of this, he quickly ingested it as if it was a highly-prized treasure. He knew

that this kind of pill was rare. Any spirit warrior that took it would possess enhanced strength, whereas

a human who took it could extend his lifespan.

“Thank you, Brother Basil!” Maxwell exclaimed in gratitude.

“Since you addressed me as a brother, you’re my brother now too. There’s no need to be cordial with

me. Besides, your willingness to be my test subject has helped me immensely. I should thank you in

return.” Rocky patted Maxwell on the shoulder.
