Rocky, along with Alyssa and several hundred members of the Wood Clan, finally returned to the clan's
residence which was a miraculous place in a small country.
A year ago, the Wood Clan's patriarch died in battle to protect his clansmen. After he died, someone
had to take his place. With the unanimous approval of the elders, Alyssa became the new matriarch of
the Wood Clan. That was why Alyssa suddenly disappeared after the Timber Deity Empire was ruled
by Alston.
After Rocky and Alyssa arrived at the Wood Clan, they immediately went to visit Evita, the most senior
elder of the clan.
"Look who's finally here! I am honored to receive such a distinguished guest!" Evita was surprised to
see that Rocky suddenly visited her.
"It's my pleasure to finally meet you, Elder Evita," Rocky respectfully greeted her.
"Me too. Please have a seat," Evita said.
With that, Rocky and Alyssa sat down.
"Tell me, what brings you here, Prince Crimson?" Evita straightforwardly asked.
"I happened to be involved in the Phoenix Master Clan's matter, so I came back here with Alyssa to
check the progress of the new drugs I sent before," Rocky answered. He had been in frequent contact
with Alyssa over the past year. Besides that, he had also developed a new drug to treat the Wood
Clan's sterilization. With the Wood Clan as the experimental subject, he had carried out various studies
on the spiritual race.
"Oh, is that so? I didn't expect that you're involved in this. Now I know why Alyssa tried her best to
persuade me and the other elders. It turns out that it is because of you," Evita wisely said.
"No, Elder Evita..." Alyssa softly grumbled.
"So, how is it going? Has the Phoenix Master Clan been finally rescued?" Evita inquired.
"Yes, but their territory has already been occupied. Now they have temporarily moved to the Magic
Phoenix Empire," Rocky replied.
"So, Alston has already defeated all his opponents in this battle. What are you planning to do next? Will
you just let him be? You're the only person who has the power to deal with Alston," Evita bluntly said.
"Let's wait and see first. It's not really a walk in the park to deal with Alston," Rocky cautiously said.
"Well, if you don't mind, I have something to ask you, Elder Evita," Rocky added.
"Alright, just get straight to the point," Evita said, her face completely serious.
"I heard from Matriarch Jill that you also have a forbidden item in your keeping," Rocky directly said.
Hearing his words, Evita could tell that Rocky knew something. Her face immediately stiffened. Then
she turned to Alyssa and said, "Alyssa, you go out first. I must talk with Prince Crimson alone."
Alyssa also showed a strange expression when she heard what Evita said. But judging from Evita's
expression, she knew that this was something important. It also seemed that Rocky was fishing for
some information. Though she was confused, Alyssa diligently went out and left Evita and Rocky alone.
"What made you think that we are keeping a forbidden item?" Evita seriously asked.

the chiefs of several advanced clans of the spiritual race, including your clan, entered the Spirit
Annihilation Land together and each of them took out a forbidden item. I was embarrassed to ask you
before, but now it's important for me to find all the forbidden items," Rocky bluntly said.
Evita was surprised to hear that. She didn't expect that Rocky would know so many things.
"So, I want to confirm if you really have a forbidden item in your keeping." Rocky continued his inquiry.
"Yes, you're right; we do have one," Evita finally admitted. She clearly knew that it would be useless to
hide it from Rocky.
"May I know where it is now?" Rocky quickly asked.
"I'm sorry, but I cannot tell you that," Evita firmly said, shaking her head in disapproval.
"You must think it over, Elder Evita. If Alston gets one more forbidden item, it will be a lot more difficult
to deal with him." Rocky reminded her of the situation at hand.
"Don't worry. That forbidden item is hidden in an unexpectedly safe place. It is absolutely impossible for
Alston to know where it is and actually get it," Evita promised him.
"I have another question for you. Why did the Heavenly Demon Clan get the forbidden item of the
Butterfly Divine Clan back then? You are the only one in the spiritual race that had witnessed the battle
of the Butterfly Divine Clan. You must know the reason better than anyone else," Rocky asked.
Hearing this, Evita shook her head and said, " I was also incredibly surprised when I heard that the
forbidden item that Alston obtained was the one that destroyed the Butterfly Divine Clan. It is said that
after the Butterfly Divine Clan was extinguished, their chief's forbidden item was sealed away. Only the
leaders of a few advanced clans of the spiritual race knew where it was sealed. I honestly don't know
how the Heavenly Demon Clan got it either."
Rocky's eyebrows furrowed. He felt that it was not a coincidence that the Heavenly Demon Clan got
the forbidden item. All of this seemed to be somehow connected.
More than a year ago, after he learned some of the truth from Holy Lord, he felt that everything that had
happened was already planned. The spiritual race would soon follow the example of the Star Divine
Race and eventually be destroyed by themselves.
"That's all I know about that. Are you satisfied with my answer?" Evita coldly asked as she intensely
looked at Rocky.
"I won't force you to tell me where the forbidden item is. I will find it out in my own way. And if I do, don't
blame me for being rude," Rocky frankly said.
"Yes, of course, I understand. If you find it by yourself, then I will say or do nothing," Evita calmly
replied.
"Before I leave, I want to collect more blood samples for my research," Rocky firmly demanded.
"Sure, that's no problem. I'll arrange it." Evita nodded at his request.
Rocky stayed in the Wood Clan for half a day. Then, he bid farewell to Alyssa after he collected the
blood samples. Alyssa was a little reluctant to let him leave.
"I didn't expect that you would leave so soon," Alyssa whispered in a sentimental tone.
"I have to go. Please take good care of yourself," Rocky whispered back.
Alyssa nodded at this and intimately kissed Rocky on the lips. Then she turned around and left.
With that, Rocky summoned Ken and left.
