At this point, time was an absolute concern, so Rocky immediately performed an operation to stop the

bleeding of the beast. On the other hand, when the crowd saw how Rocky opened the belly of the

beast using tools that they had never seen before, they were flabbergasted. They couldn't help but

twitch their eyes as if they were seeing a bloody slaughter instead.

Although Tessa was also a bit suspicious of Rocky's method, she knew that he might be the only one

she could rely on to save her spiritual beast.

As Rocky went on with the operation, four hours passed in a flash. The onlookers were a little tired and

anxious but more and more people were actually coming to take a look at the situation. The place was

now densely packed with people, who were discussing and having a lot of doubts about the man

operating on Tessa's beast.

A moment later, a tall figure suddenly appeared. The moment he noticed who was performing the

operation on the injured spiritual beast, he was utterly taken aback. "What is that guy doing here? Why

is he the one doing that?!"

It was Ramon, who immediately rushed to the place the second he heard that Nightshade was injured

and needed to be treated.

"Miss Tessa, pardon my intrusion, but what is that guy doing to you beast?" Ramon walked up to Tessa

and asked with a bewildered expression on his face.

"Oh, Captain Ramon. Do you happen to know him? I actually don't know anything about him, but he

said he could heal Nightshade," Tessa said briefly as she glanced at Ramon.

"Well, sort of. But why him? Aren't there beast curers that are more suited for the job?" Ramon asked

as he looked at the three beast curers who were anxiously standing on the sidelines. They quickly

averted their gazes when they heard that Ramon was asking about them.

"I wouldn't resort to this guy if they can do it themselves. They said that they didn't know how to treat

it," Tessa replied with a slight frown as she shook her head.

"What about Dr. Lloyd then? Where is he?" Ramon inquired

"I'm afraid he's not in the city right now. He went out with the governor to take care of some matters,"

Tessa replied with a sigh.

"But still! How could you let an unknown man attend to your beast? Just look at him! He's just a shabby

homeless guy. What if he made its condition even worse?" Ramon said agitatedly out of concern.

"I just told you that there isn't anyone else. Do you want me to just let my beast suffer from its injury

and be left untreated? Besides, look! I think he just stopped Nightshade's bleeding!" Tessa narrowed

her eyes and hesitated for a moment. But upon closer inspection, it seemed that Rocky had really

stopped the bleeding. She was both surprised and delighted at the outcome, and she was glad that she

took the risk to let Rocky do the operation.

Even Ramon was dumbfounded as he took a look. The beast was, in fact, no longer bleeding, and

Rocky was now beginning to stitch its wound.

At that moment, Rocky had also noticed that Ramon was in the crowd, but he didn't have the chance to

greet him since he was still in the middle of a tedious operation.

After the stitches were done, Rocky was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Then, he stood up and

turned towards Tessa. "I've finished treating the wound, but it has lost too much blood. We still need to

perform a blood transfusion as soon as possible. Do you possess other spiritual beasts that are of the

same kind as this one?"

"The same kind? Yeah, there is one," Tessa responded after thinking for a while. She answered

Rocky's query but was still actually in the dark of what Rocky was up to.

"That's a relief then. Miss, please ask someone to prepare two big bathtubs. I mean the one we used

for taking a bath," Rocky specified.

"All right. I'll arrange it right away." Then, Tessa turned to Ramon and said, "Captain Ramon, please

take Nightshade's mother to my pavilion and prepare everything that he asked."

"But Miss Tessa, this guy is not from the Sword Spirit City, and his identity is still unknown. I don't think

it's a good idea to trust him so much," Ramon advised as he doubted Rocky.

"Captain Ramon, this is a direct order from me. I don't think he's a bad guy, and I'm willing to take

responsibility if anything happens. So, hurry up and do as I say. The most important thing right now is

to save my beast!" Tessa instructed sternly.

Ramon glanced at Rocky, full of hesitation in his eyes, but he had no choice but to obey for now. Before

he left, he strictly ordered several disciples of the Sword Spirit City in the area to protect Tessa closely.

"Do you need anything else?" Tessa asked Rocky with visible elation in her fascinating eyes.

"For now, we'll need to find a suitable place for it to fully heal its wounds, such as a beast farm where

the spiritual beast usually lives," Rocky replied as he lightly rubbed his chin.

"A beast farm? If it's a place where it could stay comfortably, Nightshade has its own home," Tessa

informed.

"Well, that's better. Just transport it there. However, it is too big. We'll need to find several hands to

move it," Rocky said as he glanced at the spiritual beast. He could actually transport the beast through

his Magical Spiritual Space, but he didn't plan to expose his real strength, so he had to rely on them.

"Oh, don't worry about that." Tessa immediately took out a piece of jade and threw it in the air. Then, it

instantly formed a huge vortex that sucked the beast into it. As the vortex disappeared along with the

beast, the jade fell into her hand again.

"What kind of treasure is that?" Rocky couldn't help but ask as it was his first time seeing it. In the Wild

Spirit Land, both the spirit manipulators and the members of the spiritual race used the Magic Spiritual

Space to contain their spiritual beasts. Thus, he was overcome by surprise when he saw that a certain

treasure could actually directly absorb a spiritual beast.

"This? It's the Beast Spirit Jade. Don't you know about it? You're a weird man," Tessa commented as

she looked at Rocky with furrowed brows.

"Ah, well, I'm from the countryside. There are still a lot of things that I'm only hearing and seeing for the

first time," Rocky replied as he pretended to be from the remote part of the region.

To dumb it down for Rocky, Tessa patiently explained, "It is a spiritual treasure that is specially used to

raise spiritual beasts. When they are inside it, the beasts can directly cultivate and improve their

strength."

"I see. It's an awesome treasure then. Thank you, miss." Rocky nodded as a sign of appreciation. He

found that the spiritual treasures in this world were more advanced and magical than those in the Wild

Spirit Land.

In the Supreme Ether Land, only when a spirit warrior had reached the Emperor Realm could he use

his spiritual power to create a spiritual power space. Therefore, before they reached this realm, most

warriors had to resort in using Beast Spirit Jades or Spiritual Treasure Sachets to carry their spiritual

beasts and treasures.

Upon knowing this, Rocky found out that he actually had the advantage because his Magic Spiritual

Space that he was using in the Wild Spirit Land wasn't restricted in this world.

"Captain Ramon might take a while to prepare everything you need. So, I guess we can head back

first," Tessa suggested.

"As you wish," Rocky replied politely. He sensed that Tessa was a nice person. Unlike the usual high-

class nobles, she didn't put on airs even if she was talking to someone who looked like a low-class

person. At the same time, he also knew that Tessa's spiritual beast hadn't passed the dangerous period

yet. Thus, he needed to make sure that everything was fine and that the beast was out of danger

before he left.

After a while, Tessa and Rocky, accompanied by the disciples that were ordered by Ramon, left the

place and headed to Tessa's pavilion.

"By the way, the tools you used on operating with my beast were a little strange. I don't think I've seen

anyone use those when curing spiritual beasts," Tessa asked.

"Oh, that's because I created the tools myself," Rocky answered briefly.

"What? Does it mean that you're actually a beast curer?" Tessa asked with a surprised expression.

"Sort of. But I'm a bit of a nomad. I don't stay in a particular place for a long time," Rocky replied.

"So, how did you know Ramon?" Tessa inquired as she remembered that Ramon didn't quite trust him

when he treated her beast.

"It's a long story but here is the thing…" Then, Rocky told her everything that had happened and how

he was brought to this city.

"I see. Hannah's Ally accidentally hit you. So, she asked Ramon to temporarily take you in their custody

until you heal your wounds. How was it? Are you fine now?" Tessa asked with concern after learning

the story.

"Luckily, it's nothing serious." Rocky shook his head as he let out a faint smile.

"That's good then. You're fortunate that you met Hannah. Otherwise, I'm afraid that no one will bat an

eye even if you are almost left to die beside the road. After all, it's a business route. People will actually

think that you might have deliberately blocked the way to attempt a robbery. Just recently, the Robber

Regiment has been very rampant around here in the Sword Spirit City, so people are quite vigilant and

untrusting," Tessa explained.

"So, is Miss Hannah the daughter of the city's governor?" Rocky took the opportunity to ask.

"Huh?" Tessa was rendered speechless for a while before she burst into laughter. Her smile was so

precious, like a lovely flower that made people intoxicated.

"This guy really has no idea about anything! Miss Tessa is the daughter of the city governor, you

dumbass," one of the disciples sneered from behind.

"Oh! Forgive my rudeness, Miss Tessa. I really didn't know. It's just that I heard Captain Ramon

addressed Miss Hannah as the young lady, so I misunderstood," Rocky clarified immediately.

"It's because Hannah is the daughter of the Sword Spirit Sect's leader, and the Sword Spirit Sect is the

one that is in charge of the entire Sword Spirit City. My father, the governor, is just an elder of the

Sword Spirit Sect. In other words, Hannah has a higher position in the city than me." Tessa shed some

light to the outsider.

"Hmm. It sounds a little complicated," Rocky commented as he got a bit confused in the political

system of this region.

"Wait. Where exactly are you from? Isn't it common knowledge that all towns and cities in the Ethereal

Region are under the leadership of powerful sects and clans? And the sect that governs the city will

just appoint a talented and respectable figure to be the city governor, who will be in charge of the city's

affairs?" Tessa was baffled as she looked at Rocky.
