"I only used less than a tenth of my strength. You were the one who did the most damage," Rocky

responded with a shrug.

Upon closer inspection, Norma discovered that she had mostly caused Cory's grave wounds. No trace

of Rocky's power was detected at all. She realized that she was tricked into killing Cory.

"I'm going to kill you!" Norma shouted murderously, her beautiful face now contorted by ferocity.

Just then, several figures rushed into the yard. With Xavier leading the group in front, they were all

shocked by what they saw.

"What the hell is going on?" Xavier demanded.

"Captain Xavier, you've arrived just in time! This woman slaughtered people left and right once she

arrived, including Cory. She wanted revenge. I was unable to stop her since I'm no match for her!"

Rocky explained as he pointed at Norma and pretended to be the victim.

"How dare you blame me?" Norma bellowed with fierce, wide eyes.

"How dare you attack my people at my place, you bitch?" Xavier was so enraged that he immediately

conjured a powerful strike with the spiritual power at the seventh grade.

Although Norma was at seventh grade of the Spirit Realm as well, she knew that Xavier was the top

master of the realm in all of Sword Spirit City. She didn't dare challenge him and was startled. She shot

Rocky a venomous glare before she stretched her body and flew upwards to disappear among the

rooftops.

"Catch her!" Xavier commanded his team behind him.

The members of the Wolf Team immediately flew up and chased after Norma.

"You came at just the right time, Captain Xavier! If you arrived any later, she might have killed Cory."

Rocky pretended to be frightened as he looked at Cory who remained on the ground teetering on

death's edge.

"Why are you here?" Xavier asked with narrowed, cold eyes.

"I'm here for my team," Rocky gestured towards the Cloudlet Team members who were hanging upside

down from a gigantic tree.

"Cory, you idiot!" Xavier understood clearly now and scowled at Cory who remained on the ground.

But what Xavier didn't understand was why that woman attacked him. He'd have to wait for him to

regain consciousness to find out.

"If there's nothing else for us to discuss, I'll get back to help my team now," Rocky said. After finishing

his words, Rocky walked to the big tree and put down the members of the Cloudlet Team.

"Don't speak. Come with me!" Rocky ordered them in a low voice as they began to leave.

However, before Rocky's figure disappeared, the eyes of Xavier had been fixed on Rocky all the time.

When Rocky sent the injured members back to the lounge, he saw Eliseo rushing back with his men.

Seeing that Rocky and the members were safe and sound, he was relieved and asked what happened.

On the way back, Rocky instructed his team members to not divulge any details regarding what just

happened. Later, when they were questioned, they answered that they fainted and didn't remember

anything after. The rest was to be explained by Rocky.

Rocky briefly explained to Eliseo that it was all due to Cory who was beaten badly by a mysterious

woman who appeared out of nowhere.

"Cory has gone too far. He's become too reckless with Xavier's support!" Eliseo exclaimed furiously.

"He's certainly learned his lesson now. Even if he doesn't die, he'll most likely wake up handicapped,"

Rocky replied.

"Those who've committed numerous sins deserve death. He deserves it!" Eliseo spat.

The next day, news of Cory being sent back to his original sect spread all over the Sword Spirit Sect

like wildfire. He was left disabled due to all his destroyed meridians from his encounter with the

mysterious woman. The sect could do nothing more but send him back to his original sect for

treatment.

Thus, the investigation regarding Cory capturing members of the Cloudlet Team to threaten Rocky

remained unsolved due to insufficient evidence. Xavier had most likely tampered with the evidence to

avoid his team's scandal from being exposed.

Ramon, who was in charge of escorting Hannah out of the city yesterday, heard about Cory's dismissal

once he returned to the Sword Spirit City. After hearing more details from Eliseo, Ramon frowned and

immediately set out to find Rocky.

"It was you, wasn't it? You hurt Cory," Ramon asked, not wanting to beat around the bush.

"What do you think, Captain Ramon?" Rocky replied with arms crossed over his chest.

Ramon knew that his assumption was right based on Rocky's current body language.

"Who was that mysterious woman?" Ramon quickly inquired.

"It appears she's Cory's helper," Rocky answered.

"Cory's helper? Did he ask her to help deal with you? I guess things didn't quite turn out as they'd

planned." Ramon had figured it out.

"You know some things too well, Captain. Anyway, Cory deserves it," Rocky declared with his brows

furrowed.

"I'm worried about Xavier. He might accuse you of attacking Cory." Ramon didn't care much for Cory

and agreed that he got what he deserved. However, he was Xavier's trusted right hand. Ramon

suspected that Xavier wouldn't let this go so easily.

"So what?" Rocky asked nonchalantly.

Ramon was stunned. He knew that if Rocky was afraid of Xavier, he wouldn't risk hurting Cory. This

further proved that he had nothing to worry about when it came to Rocky.

"By the way, Captain Ramon, are you participating in this year's qualifying competition to enter the

Martial Spirit Graveyard?" Rocky casually asked off the top of his head.

"No. Miss Hannah has already secured my spot," the captain replied with a shake of his head.

"That's good." Rocky smiled.

"Why are you asking?" The captain couldn't help but ask in return.

"I'm going to participate in the competition. I just wondered if I'd meet you there. But even if I did run

into you, I wouldn't show mercy," Rocky replied slyly.

"You're participating in the competition? Are you kidding me?" Ramon's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Of course I'm not kidding. Moreover, I plan on winning the first place to secure my entry into the

Martial Spirit Graveyard," Rocky uttered seriously.

"I'm afraid it's not that easy. Even with your strength, you're no match for Xavier. He's won the first

place for two consecutive years," Ramon said and narrowed his eyes.

"Really? Then, what was your ranking last year?" Rocky asked him curiously.

"He defeated me in the final battle with one move!" the captain exclaimed fiercely. He was unwilling to

admit his loss.

"I shall avenge you this year!" Rocky declared out of loyalty for his captain.

"Let's see if you can even make it to the final battle," Ramon replied. He didn't believe Rocky was

strong enough to enter the final battle. After all, there were over a hundred spirit warriors in the Sword

Spirit Sect that were at seventh grade of the Spirit Realm. Most of them tried several years or even

more than a decade to enter the Martial Spirit Graveyard to merge with martial spirits. Yet, most of

them remained unsuccessful.

Rocky just shrugged and left with a smile.

Once he was out of the room, Tessa suddenly appeared in front of him.
