"I know who you are," Rocky replied.

"Then how dare you try and stop me?" Brett snapped back, glaring at him with arrogant eyes.

"Because I know how awful you are. I can't let you continue! I should teach you a lesson on behalf of

your father," Rocky said with a sneer.

"What? What did you say? How dare you?" Brett yelled. His face flushed red as he was embarrassed.

"I feel sorry for your parents. It's a tragedy to have a son like you!" Rocky sighed.

The members of the Shura Race around them burst into laughter as soon as they heard that. They held

their stomachs because the joy was too much to handle.

"What are you waiting for? Catch him and I'll skin him alive!" Brett shouted at the guards.

They immediately turned and charged at Rocky, wearing menacing looks on their faces.

The people in the slum felt worried for Rocky. After all, the guards were strong and Rocky was a weak

doctor. There was no way he could be a match for them.

However, just as the guards approached Rocky, an invisible force instantly rushed out from Rocky's

body, directly pushing them over ten meters away. They fell like bowling pins onto their backs, facing

the sky with their four limbs outward.

The people in the slum were dumbfounded. During the time they had spent with Rocky, none of them

had suspected that he was a powerful spirit warrior.

When Brett saw his guards cast aside so easily, he knew that Rocky was not weak. But Brett had the

strength of a Spiritual King. "You're a group of useless men. Fine. I'll deal with him myself," he

snapped, looking down on his guards.

As he spoke, a spiral spiritual power was created between his hands and it spun into a ball. After a few

seconds, the spiritual ball flew out of his hands at an extremely fast speed and rushed towards Rocky.

Bang!

In the blink of an eye, the spiritual ball collided with Rocky and consumed him.

The people in the slum whispered words of worry to each other.

"Ha-ha! Taste the power of the Ba family's Spiral Bomb!" Brett laughed. He looked more arrogant.

However, a few seconds later, the spiritual light dissipated and Rocky appeared. He calmly patted the

dust off his chest. Then, he looked at Brett and said, "This is supposed to be the unique skill of the Ba

family? A three-year-old could do it! I feel ashamed for your ancestors!"

When they heard that, the members of the Shura Race that lived in the slum cheered up. They

believed that Rocky was a powerful person and it gave them hope for the first time in a long time.

"What? How are you still alive? You were hit by my Spiral Bomb, weren't you?" Brett stared at Rocky

with wide eyes and an open mouth. He had a Spiritual King's strength, so it should have been

impossible for Rocky to block his attack. It would only work if Rocky's strength was above a Spiritual

King's.

"And? Do you think your strength can break through my body protection spiritual power?" Rocky

sneered.

"Who the hell are you?" It was at that moment that Brett realized that Rocky was hiding something. He

glared at him.

"Don't worry. You'll find out very soon," Rocky said, moving to stand in front of Brett.

Before Brett could react, his whole body froze. He watched as Rocky shoved something into his mouth.

Then, his chest was patted and he involuntarily swallowed the thing.

"What did you feed me?" Brett asked in a trembling voice. His face was drained of its color.

"This pill was made by my master. Now that you've ingested it, you will die within a hundred steps!"

Rocky said, smiling.

"What? Poison?" Brett's eyebrows pulled together in concern.

"Yes."

"Sir, please. I know I was wrong. I need you to give me the antidote. I'm willing to do anything to make

it up to you." Afraid of death, Brett dropped to his knees and begged for mercy.

"Stop it! This is useless! Bring your father here. Let him beg!" Rocky did not think Brett was being

honest. He scowled down at him.

"Okay. Okay. I'll send someone to my father. He will come right away!" Brett shivered and nearly

collapsed on the ground.

"No. Ask your father to come to the leader's mansion. He will find me there!" Rocky said.

"The leader's mansion?" Brett was stared curiously at Rocky, wondering if he was more powerful than

he had originally thought. It couldn't be true. Rocky looked like an ordinary man. Brett guessed that

Rocky was a servant that belonged the leader's mansion and that he had dared to poison him because

he thought the leader would back him up.

"Take your men and get out of here!" Rocky ordered, waving his hand aggressively.

Brett's face turned even paler and he turned, asking his guards to escort him home.

When Rocky turned around, he saw Grey approaching Loretta's side. She looked at him, grateful to be

saved. After comforting her, he walked up to Rocky.

"Sir, I am in your debt once again," Grey said, bowing his head.

"Thank you for your help," Loretta added, also stooping to express her thanks.

"You're both very welcome. Brett won't bug you in the future. If he tries, he won't make it out alive." As

he glanced at the people in the slum, Rocky exuded an indescribable but convincing power.

They were all shocked by what Rocky had said, but the tone of his voice somehow made them even

more obedient.

Seeing that the time was almost up, Rocky left the slum and went back to the leader's mansion.

When the guards that were carrying Brett arrived at the prefect's mansion, they immediately sent

someone to tell his father, the prefect of the Ghost Capital named Armando Ba, what had happened.

"Dad, help me! I was forced to take poison!" Brett looked up at his father with pleading eyes.

"What? Who did this to you? I can't believe someone could be so bold!" Armando roared.

"I don't know his name, but I know you need to go to the leader's mansion to get the antidote for me,"

Brett said in a low voice.

"I have to go to the leader's mansion?! Who did you mess with?" For a moment, Armando thought he

had misheard, but when he saw his son's expression, he knew it was true. He glared at him with angry

eyes.

"I don't think it was someone important. He was just smug because he's a member of the leader's

mansion. Dad, you will have no problem getting the antidote once you go there," Brett said. In his eyes,

Armando was the most powerful being.

"Are you sure?" Armando looked at his son suspiciously.

Brett nodded vigorously.

Armando loved his son as much as his own life, so he immediately ordered someone to prepare a

carriage and took Brett to the leader's mansion.

When he arrived at the leader's mansion, he immediately asked to see Gilbert.

"Prefect Ba, what brings you here today?" Gilbert asked when he saw Armando entering.

"Leader, please uphold justice for me. Someone in your mansion poisoned my son and attempted to

murder him," Armando said, pointing at Brett who was just carried in.

"Really?" Gilbert's eyebrows rose. Armando was the prefect of the Ghost Capital and was in charge of

all its affairs. He was known as a big figure there. Ordinary people wouldn't dare provoke

Armando.
