"It's not that simple. I have the gods' mark on my body and I'm still a Godly Genius. I have to accept the

task. I will be free after the final battle among the Godly Geniuses," Rocky answered, shaking his head.

"So you come to me because you want me to help you, right?" asked Eunice.

"That's right. I'm hoping that the Di Clan will be able to help me get the three quotas I need to

participate in the contest."

"Oh no," Eunice replied, frowning.

"What's the problem?" Rocky's brow also furrowed. He didn't anticipate any problems.

"The acting chief needs to make that decision, but he is not in the Di Clan right now."

"When will he be back?" Rocky felt slightly surprised. His whole plan could be ruined by one little bump

in the road.

"I'm not sure. I do have a way to contact him, but I'll need to return to the Di Clan to do it. And don't

worry. There's plenty of time before the Spiritual Emperor Contest starts to solve this."

"Thank you very much."

"Don't thank me. I'm just relieved to see you again." Eunice smiled gently.

"I've been staying outside for too long, which is not safe. I have to go back. When you hear something,

let me know." As he spoke, he summoned a Carrier Beast from the Magic Spiritual Space that he had

improved using gene technology and handed it to Eunice.

Then, Rocky departed.

He made his way back to the inn and climbed the stairs. The moment that he opened the door, Gloria

jumped out at him.

"Where were you?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I didn't go anywhere. I just walked around," Rocky lied.

"You demand that we stay put, but look at you! You go out all the time and never take us with you,"

Gloria complained.

"You are both bad tempered. If I let you go out, you will stir up trouble. We can't expose our identities at

any point or we will lose our qualification and be unable to finish the task. But if you don't want to do the

task, I won't stop you," Rocky said seriously.

"Why are you being so serious? I was just kidding!"

"Where is Valeria?"

"She hasn't come out of her room. Doesn't she ever get bored?"

"Do you think everyone is as active as you?"

"I can't help it! Being here is a bore! Can you disguise me as a human beauty and let me seduce some

men?" Gloria begged.

Rocky rolled his eyes dramatically and walked into his room, ignoring her pleads.

For two days, Rocky and the two women stayed in the inn, waiting for Eunice to contact him.

Finally, on the third day, the Carrier Beast he gave to Eunice flew to the inn and searched for Rocky.

When it found him, it guided Rocky to a desolate suburb on the outside of the Emperor City. He

discovered Eunice waiting for him.

"I have good news and bad news," Eunice announced the moment that her eyes landed on him.

"Give me the bad news first, please."

"Okay. The quotas needed to participate in the contest have already been decided and can't be

changed."

"That's really bad news." Rocky frowned and then asked, "What about the good news?"

"We have five quotas in the Di Clan, so our acting chief decided to give you three and he ordered me to

help during your task."

"Please express my gratitude to him."

"If you want to thank him, you can do it when he comes back. He wants to speak with you," Eunice

replied, waving her hand nonchalantly.

"Okay. Great."

"Now, I think you should introduce me to your two companions. After all, I can take you to the place

where the Spiritual Emperor Contest is going to be held since I'm also participating," Eunice said.

Because Rocky had asked for three quotas, Eunice had deduced that there were two more Godly

Geniuses with him. Currently, she was filled with curiosity.

"Fine. You can meet them, but you can't tell them anything about your identity and don't let them know

that I've already got the quotas," Rocky warned.

"Don't worry. You know how good I am at keeping secrets," Eunice grumbled.

After that was decided, the two of them walked back to the inn and climbed the stairs.

When they arrived at the top, Rocky introduced Eunice to Valeria and Gloria.

"Wow! Travelling with two ladies, huh? You lucky guy!" Eunice commented, raking her eyes over their

bodies. Immediately, she could tell that Gloria was a woman dressed in male clothing.

"Ladies? Hey, I'm a man!" Gloria exclaimed in a horrified tone, hoping that her identity was not

exposed.

Rocky directed a secret wink at Eunice to tell her to ignore the fact that Gloria was clearly a woman.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You just have such nice, smooth skin," Eunice apologized, understanding Rocky's

signal.

"Guys, this is Eunice. She is the daughter of a friend of Master Esteban. She is here to help us get in

the Spiritual Emperor Contest undetected." Rocky didn't want the girls to know Eunice's true identity so

he came up with a lie on the spot.

"This is Valeria, the Godly Genius from the Flower Fief, and this man is my apprentice pharmacist,"

Rocky said, gesturing quickly to Valeria and Gloria.

"Master Esteban had a human friend?" Valeria asked, lowering her eyebrow suspiciously.

"He constantly travels the world. He actually made lots of friends on his journeys from various races,"

Rocky replied frankly.

"That makes sense."

"Get ready, everyone. Next, Miss Eunice will take us to the place where the Spiritual Emperor Contest

will be held," Rocky continued.

After making some last minute preparations and collecting their belongings, Rocky and the others left

the inn and headed for the Boundless Mountain, the place where the Spiritual Emperor Contest was

going to take place.

The Boundless Mountain was a two mile journey from the east of the Di Clan. The area was brimming

with spiritual energy. For the past one hundred years, the Di Clan had been using it as the venue for

the contest. That was why the Spiritual Emperor Contest was being held there now.

On the hillside of the mountain, a small villa was perched. It was intended for rest or accommodation

and it was called the Boundless Manor.

When the four of them arrived at the Boundless Manor, Eunice left to get them some rooms. However,

because there were so many warriors participating in the contest, almost every room had already been

booked. There were only two that were still available.

"We will have to share," Gloria said, sounding slightly excited.

Eunice looked at Rocky. She knew that Gloria was a female and that it was not appropriate for them to

stay in the same room. But she knew that she couldn't announce it.

"Okay. You two will share one room," Rocky said to Valeria and Eunice. They nodded. Then, Rocky

walked to the other room.

Soon, Gloria entered. She saw him standing in front of the window, looking out. Her eyes swept over

the room before she walked to the only bed and sat on it.

"There is only one bed, but there are two of us. What are we going to do? This is really embarrassing!"

Gloria pointed out as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"You can have this room. I don't need it," Rocky said.

"Then where are you going to stay?"

"It's none of your business." Before Gloria could retort, he turned and left the room.

"You..." Gloria was rendered speechless. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth together. She kept

trying, but it seemed like it was going to be harder than she thought to make him fall in love with her.

After leaving the room, Rocky ran down the stairs. When he reached the bottom, a delicate figure

rushed towards him. Because the stairway was narrow, they nearly bumped into each other.

Before he could react, she dodged him. At the same time, she glared at Rocky and scolded, "What the

hell are you doing?"
