You Like Him, Don't You?
"Alright." Jennifer replied and took the food. Then they went to the next room to eat together.
They tried to eat, but everything tasted like sawdust to them. Jennifer began to cry while chewing the
food. Nydia lookedup and saw her tears dripping into her lunch box.
"Jennifer..." Jennifer's eyes flashed and she immediately turned her head away. Gloria sighed. A wave
of guilt swept through her. Nydia said, "Jennifer, don't cry. We are not facing the worst situation. Bryson
is in a coma, but I believe he will wake up. He is our lucky star. He makes all the problems go away
every time."
When one was worried, he was afraid to hear words of comfort... Jennifer put down her cutlery and
cried into her hands.
"I'm so scared... Bryson is so young and has a promising future..." Gloria cast her eyes down sadly,
and for a moment, she didn't know what to say. a mon OV Nydia put down her cutlery, tears welling up
in her eyes.
"He's a lucky man. He'll be fine!" Jennifer took out a tissue and wiped her eyes.
"I knew I was thinking too much..." Jennifer's eyes rested upon Gloria.
"Gloria, he likes you so much. Please try to wake him up at night. Just tell him you'll marry him when he
wakes up, okay? Gloria, please..." Gloria's heart lurched. How could she say anything cruel to make
him give up on her at this point? Bryson would only feel more depressed than ever.
Therefore, Gloria decided to lie to Bryson, but Jennifer... Gloria's eyes flickered to Jennifer's. "Jennifer,
you like him, don't you?" Jennifer froze for a moment, pressed her lips together, and said nothing. Her
denial meant nothing now. Jennifer acted like she didn't care about him before, but now she couldn't do
it anymore because Bryson was in a coma.
Gloria's eyes flashed and she looked back at Jennifer. She sensed yesterday that Bryson wasn't just a
friend to Jennifer. Gloria sighed, "When he wakes up, tell him your true feelings. Otherwise, he'll never
know. You've kept it to yourself for too long."
Jennifer smiled wryly, "He likes you and would like to do anything for you. What's the point of telling
him my true feelings? I'll only embarrass myself..."
Jennifer looked down and felt too upset to talk. When she realized she had said something wrong, she
quickly looked up at Gloria.
"Gloria, I didn't mean to blame you. I was talking about Bryson and me. He likes you and he just can't
help it, just like the way I like him." Gloria nodded and looked at her earnestly.
"I know. It's just... I'm a divorced woman. I have no hope of entering a new relationship, and I'll never
be with Bryson. You get it?"
Jennifer was stunned and looked up at Gloria.
"Bryson never cares about your past. If you're with him, he may think he's the luckiest man in the
world. Are you sure you won't give him a chance?"
