To Pester Him
Gloria also looked at Angela and smiled, “I never intended to go back to Jordy. You can rest assured
about this.”
Nydia sneered, “Yes, that‘s right! So you should focus more on Jordy. Did you show your true face too
frequently recently? And you can‘t pretend to be lofty anymore? Otherwise, why did Jordy always
ignore you and pester Gloria?”
Gloria was speechless.She stroked her forehead. Nydia was taking it out on Angela for her.
“Nydia, that‘s enough. Stop it, okay?”
Gloria told Nydia to stop speaking again. Nydia curled her lip and said with a sullen look, “I can‘t!”
She had been expecting to have a fight with Angela! Angela was evil and vicious! She actually came to
Gloria‘s house to make a fuss. How could she watch it without doing anything?
Angela clenched her fists and her eyes flushed with anger. She was going crazy, and even her heart
was burning with rage.
But she took a deep breath and tried to stay calm.
“Gloria, just tell me what you want me to do so you can leave Jordy? Do you really not intend to go
back to him?” Angela tried to be nice, but she could not help raising her voice when she said the last
sentence.
Gloria smiled, “I said, I‘m not interested in Jordy anymore.”
“But why are you still pestering him? Since you don‘t like him, why did you let him approach you?”
Gloria laughed. Her laughter was very light, as if she were talking about something interesting with her
friend.
Nydia also looked at Gloria with a puzzled look. Why was Gloria so calm? Gloria used to regard Angela
as her sister. If they fell out, she should be angrier! Angela and her parents were ungrateful and
vicious. They had done so many evil things to hurt her! How could she be so calm?
She could never be like her.
Angela frowned, “What are you laughing at?”
Gloria‘s smile widened. After a while, she slowly opened her mouth, “What happened before might be
misunderstandings, but isn‘t it because of you that we often got embroiled with each other?”
Angela frowned, “What do you mean?”
