The female officer looked at her with a smirk on her lips, saying, “Poor woman. Pull yourself together. I
can share with you the latest news of the outside world.”
Martha looked at her for a moment and tried to muster her composure. “Just tell me.”
Now Martha did not even bother to pretend. She needed to know what happened out there to
determine whether what they say was true or not.
These two days, she had been thinking about whether her man will cheat on her, but what Gloria said
