I’ll Be Responsible for My Negligence
Jordy looked at Gloria. He didn‘t say anything, but Gloria could still feel the strong irony in his eyes.
She ignored Jordy and looked at the manager of the planning department.
“Why did you transfer them to other positions?”
The manager of the planning department said, “Well, everyone has different merits, and this
cooperation scheme has also changed. Therefore, we transferred them to the positions that were more
suitable for them.”
Jordy immediately swept to the manager of the planning department with fierce eyes, and he said
coldly, “What happened then?”
The manager of the planning department suddenly realized something was wrong. He dared not look at
Jordy, but quickly looked at Gloria. When he saw her dark face, his heart suddenly did a somersault!

At first, he thought that it was a wise decision, and he might be praised by Gloria and Jordy, but now he
became a smart–ass in their eyes?
He was finished!
At this moment, his legs were shaking.
Gloria sat in her seat and said nothing.
However, the manager of the planning department did not know why his decision was wrong.
The others kept silent in fear, and the employees of the planning department were flustered.
Although they only needed to act on orders, they were the members of the planning department.
At this moment, many people‘s hearts were beating madly.
Then Jordy looked at Gloria, “Is this the job you did?”
Gloria naturally knew that it was her fault. She was in charge of the project. However, some people
acted recklessly because of her negligence. She should be held responsible for this.
Gloria nodded without hesitation, “It‘s my negligence.”
Jordy‘s frown deepened. He thought she would explain.
But before he could speak, Gloria had already looked at the manager of the planning department.
“The plan was delayed and the work efficiency was greatly reduced due to the private transfer of
personnel. You failed to carry out the plan and work out the new plan. Now, we have to give up the
former plan. All the people in the two departments will work overtime to get back on schedule. Do you
have any problems?”
The others were speechless.
Damn it!
She asked them to work overtime easily Just like Mr. Collins did!
Jordy pursed his lips in silence.
He would not let himself become emotionally involved in business and would not blame Gloria for this,
but he was still upset.
She was efficient, calm, and effective in dealing with problems. Her arrangement was perfect, but Jordy
looked colder and colder.
No one dared to speak. Even if they had a problem with that, they couldn‘t complain.
And they hated the manager of the planning department. Why didn‘t he just act on orders but have to
be a smart–ass?
He deserved it!
The manager of the planning department was a little flustered, and he hurriedly said, “It was my
mistake. I know I was wrong. I‘ll work overtime for free! And I‘ll pay those who need to work overtime
because of my fault.”
The others seemed to be relieved. After all, they all thought that they might not get paid for working
overtime.
Gloria looked calm, “No, you guys just do your job. I‘ll be responsible for my negligence.”
The implication was that she would pay their salaries for working overtime.
Jordy looked gloomier.
