Gloria said nothing, only making a face by pursuing her lips.
This time, she didn't even look at Jordy.She merely got up and went out.
Jordy sat in his seat in stillness.
His ferocious glance was firmly fixed on Gloria’s back as if he could penetrate it with his glare at the
next moment.If it were someone else, that person might have already given in under such a stare.He or

But Gloria was not scared of him.
Instead, she walked away with anger.She couldn’t stand this man for a second.

normally than Jordy.
Maybe it was because she had once loved Jordy, which had made her expectations for him totally
different.
Knowing that the person she once loved became so horrible, Gloria felt so complicated and annoyed.
After returning to her own office, Gloria had no appetite.She began to process her work.She wanted to
finish her work earlier so that she could leave this place full of conflicts earlier.She couldn’t wait to stay
away from the man who disgusted her just now.She was not the only one who lost her appetite.
Jordy didn't touch the food in the meal box at all.
Sitting at his desk, he was nearly shedding tears with gloominess.
Three days had passed.
Gloria and Jordy didn't talk to each other because they were still mad at each other.
They didn't attend the meeting either.
Even if there were no conflicts between them before, Gloria still wouldn’t bother to talk to him.
Most of the meetings were then hosted by Gloria alone, and Jordy would not be present until it was
necessary.

dissatisfaction in front of her.It made many of them start to complain.

The meeting was held by fifteen people, who were all from the human resources department which was
home to many elites.
Everyone at the meeting was very experienced in the workplace.
Naturally, they had their own predilections at work since they were all leaders in the company.
In front of Jordy, they didn’t dare to challenge him.
They would be as meek as sheep in front of him.
But when there was only Gloria, they were not meek anymore.

The person who raised his discontent was Darren, the vice director of the human resources
department.
His had quite a prestige in his department.
Most people would be very polite to him when they met him.
Even the top leader who was supposed to be his boss would respect him.
But Gloria had challenged him earlier that day.
During the interview, Gloria had criticized him that what he said in the interview was inappropriate and
that he should not put the interviewees in trouble.
Worse still, she criticized him in front of many other people.
Wasn’t that a huge humiliation for a man like Darren? Besides, he never thought there was anything
wrong with him.
Because he had interviewed many people these years and it proved that he did have a keen eye for
elites.Gloria’s criticism was quite hurtful to him.
