The Counter-attack

Martha yelled hysterically, “The Collins family! A bunch of bastards!”

Claude had a gloomy expression. “How is Angela?”

“Eats nothing and always ignores me. I took her phone away when I saw the news.”

“Since the Collins family has done this, we must fight back!”

“Do you know what to say when you go to the police station? These things have nothing to do with us.

But the police will observe your expression, so don’t feel pressured in from of them. You weren’t

involved. Don’t be nervous.”, Claude snorted.

“Of course! I know it. Why will I be nervous? I’m just assisting with the investigation. Also, Angela is

mentally and physically ill. Take care of her. If she doesn’t get better, take her to another hospital.”

“Another hospital?”

Martha’s expression changed, but she knew Claude meant more than he said.

Claude snorted.

“Angela has major mental problems, so will you continue to let her recuperate here? She hasn’t gotten

better and is getting weaker and weaker for so long. Obviously, the treatment is not right.”

Martha took a deep breath. That tweet made it clear that this had something to do with Angela, but

apparently, the police said something to Claude on the phone. Claude couldn’t say much right now. It

seemed like someone was around him.

Martha didn’t dare ask any further and said, “Okay. I’ll do this now.”

After hanging up, Martha asked her assistant to go through hospital procedures and went back to the

ward again.

Seeing Angela up and looking for her phone, Martha was a little flustered.

“Angela, this hospital can’t make you better for the time being, so I need to take you away.”

Angela was taken aback and turned back slowly.

“It’s our own hospital and the top tier in Los Angeles, so where can we go?”

This was the most she had said recently. And, Finding her phone lost and suddenly hearing her mother

say this, she guessed something even if she was in a bad mental state.

Angela looked at her.

“Where’s my phone? Is it with you?”
