He didn‘t look away and get up until Gloria went out of sight. Nothing was said to anyone in the
conference room.
Harold stood up, checked his wristwatch, and said, “Alright, time to go back to work.”
The crowd was unresponsive. Harold then followed Jordy to leave.
Those left in the conference room went on slow motions,
They exchanged looks till someone said, “From now on, we‘d better follow the orders, or there will be
consequences.”
Darren‘s face further darkened. His reputation had been damaged. Jordy had challenged and
embarrassed him in front of everyone for what? A pretty face?
He took a deep breath and left in a huff.
The others looked at the leaving man with ridicule in their eyes.

that close to saying that Jordy had begged to remarry Gloria.

Gloria was absorbed in work when her best friend called her.

Gloria frowned, set her work aside, and logged onto Twitter.

“Am I right?” Nydia sounded thrilled.
Gloria felt helpless and checked out the details.
She read the content and got goosebumps.

with Mr. Collins and Miss White. Attached, the couple displayed their affection in the presence of
everyone. Mr. Collins even announced that he would hold a perfect wedding for Miss White. He
kneeled on the floor, begging her for remarriage and forgiveness. Guys, what do you think of this?”
Girl Scout, “What a coincidence! My relative is also an executive working with Collins Group. He told
me pretty much the same thing. Miss White is a lofty woman who throws her weight about in the office.
She called a veteran employee incompetent and claimed to fire him. That is too much.”
