Sidekicks Who Helped Her Solve the Case
“Pausing for a moment, one police officer said lightly, “Miss White, why are you here? what
happened…?”
He didn‘t finish his words but shifted his gaze at Gloria‘s feet.
Marvín cried out, “Sir, this woman hit us! Please do us justice!”
The police officer watched the scar on his face, his green hair, and other punks who got up slowly. All
of them looked like hooligans. There was an unfathomable emotion on his face.
Gloria didn‘t care about it, but looked at the police officers and said politely, “Is it someone calling the
police? Or you are patrolling the street?”
“Someone called the police.”
Gloria smiled faintly, “I‘ve made a recording.”
Those hooligans lost the words.
They were dumbfounded.
But the police were not surprised at all, since they knew that it was common for a lawyer like Gloria to
resort to legal means to protect herself.
Then Gloria took out the recording pen.
Feeling worried, one police officer reminded Gloria, “How about we go back to the police station to talk
about this?”
While saying, he hinted to Gloria by the eye that he worried some of the hooligans would flee away.
Gloria got the hint and nodded approvingly, “OK.”
She needed to assist the police for sure.
But Police Campbell who stood behind said bluntly, “There is no need. See, none of them on the floor
is able to get up.”
Police Wright was speechless.
Then he realized that a lot of men were sprawling on the floor when he came over.
Only Gloria stood and trod on their boss‘ hand.
He coughed and said lightly, “Anyway, you need to take a statement in the police station,”
“I have no problem about it.” Gloria remained calm,
Once she finished, she found that some hooligans wanted to escape and her gaze swept across them.
“Aren‘t you afraid of getting hit?”
One hooligan, who made a step forward, froze for a moment but still decided to run as he didn‘t want to
go to the police station. Gloria sneered, picked up something on the floor, and threw it at that hooligan,
who then wailed and fell to the ground!
Others also wanted to run away, but Gloria‘s voice sounded. “Wanna run? Do you mind me breaking
your legs?”
While speaking, she walked over to them in high heels.
Both Police Campbell and Police Wright were speechless.
They felt like they were her sidekicks that helped her solve the case.
The hooligans stiffened.
She is wearing a pair of high–heeled shoes, but she walks swiftly as if in flat shoes.
They can‘t walk at such a great speed even in flat shoes. They got defeated by a woman in spiked
high–heeled shoes.
How humiliating that was for them!
No, it proved that she was very strong.
Someone still wanted to run. Gloria showed no mercy and dislocated his hand in front of two police
officers.
“Ah!”
A squeal of pain sounded through the alley.
In the next second, Gloria restored it.
And another sharp pain came. That hooligan got scared.
After that, no one dared to flee.
Those two police officers were shocked…
Gloria‘s eyes fell on them and she said apologetically, “Sorry, these evildoers are tricky. I am afraid that
some of them can run away.”
