It happened as expected.
Jordy had stopped looking at Gloria and turned his glance at everybody.
"We will start the plan tomorrow.All of you must listen to Gloria’s command and put your heart in it."
"Okay."
Someone responded and others nodded along.
Gloria didn't add anything.She had just said enough and now she felt thirty after all the talks.
Then, Jordy got up and walked out of the room.Harold said immediately, The meeting is over.Now all of
you can go back to your work and make some arrangements."
Without saying anything, they sorted out the materials they had brought and left one after another.
Gloria was suddenly a director assigned to the company, and everyone held different attitudes towards
her.
Some were neutral about her, while some were quite tired of her, thinking that she was putting on air.
Some others even looked aside without any intention of joining the board with her.
Gloria didn’t mind what these people would think about her or do to her.
After all, there were always difficulties in doing anything.She thought she was able to solve all the
difficulties one by one as long as she calmed down.
After going back to her office, she started to plan for some new tasks.

Just as she rested her hand on the mouse, the telephone beside her rang.
Gloria picked it up.
"Hello, Miss White, this is Nicole, Mr.Collins’ secretary.Mr.Collins wants you in his office right now."
Nicole? His secretary is a woman? Gloria was a little surprised.
Doesn’t he order Harold to help him with most of the tasks? Perhaps Harald has his own work to attend
to.
Gloria had never heard of Nicole before.
Yet she answered, "Okay."
"Alright, see you."
Gloria put down the phone, got up and walked to Jordy‘s office.
Soon she knocked at his door and said, "Mr.Collins, it's Gloria."
"Come in."
It was a cold voice with not much emotion.
Gloria opened the door naturally, but as soon as she looked into the room, she saw a tall and gorgeous
woman standing to the left of Jordy.
They were probably flirting with each other.
While Gloria gazed at her, the woman looked back at her.But the next moment, she smiled and nodded
at Gloria to greet her.
Gloria also nodded back at her politely and then looked at Jordy.
"Mr.Collins, what can I do for you?"
Gloria was standing opposite Collins.
In fact, the girl behind Jordy was Nicole.She opened a document on the desk and put it in front of
Jordy.
"Mr.Collins, I also need you to sign here."
Jordy looked through the file quickly and signed the document without hesitation.
Then Nicole put the documents away and asked Jordy, "Mr.Collins, do you have anything else for me?"
"No.You may leave." Jordy said indifferently.
"Yes, sir."
Nicole smiled at Gloria again and walked out.
Gloria bit her lips and stood where she was.
Jordy raised his head to look at her and said, "sit down."
Gloria did as he said and sat opposite Jordy.
"Come near me."
Jordy frowned slightly, and inserted the USB drive into his computer.
Seeing this, Gloria immediately understood his intention.So she moved her chair closer to Jordy and
sat down near him.
The atmosphere in the office was quite peaceful.
Originally, the two had been husband and wife, but Jordy hated her to the guts.
Later, after their divorce, they were still enemies in every sense.
But at that moment, they could sit down there, facing each other peacefully, and could even help each
other in their work.
