Chapter 1120Chapter 1120 Generous Ashlyn
Just then, an abrupt sound suddenly came from the edge of the window.
Both Ashlyn and Lucas looked over at the same time, only to see Silas carrying a lawnmower, mowing
the grass by the window while craning his neck to watch the game on television.
Ms. Berry's amazing! She predicted everything accurately. It's like she's some sort of secret game
master.
“Hmm, it's nothing worth mentioning, really. You just get the hang of it after watching enough matches,”
Ashlyn replied blandly.
Lucas glanced at Silas with displeasure. “Why are you cutting grass instead of doing your actual job?”
Why hire gardeners and craftsmen if someone from the tech department is going to mow the lawn?
That's not his job.
Feeling aggrieved, Silas explained the situation about Sabrina having tickets.
He wasn't trying to tattle; he just felt a little upset. It was one thing for Sabrina to pick on him at work,
but if Lucas were to assume he was neglecting his duties, things would be even worse for him.
Arching a brow, Ashlyn put down her popcorn and walked to the window leisurely. Then, she pulled out
two tickets and handed them to Silas. “I just so happen to have two tickets. You can have them.”
Silas stared at the tickets in astoundment.
These... These are for the finals! Sabrina's tickets are only for the group matches. I can't believe it. Ms.
Berry is so kind! She just gave me two tickets that I never would've gotten my hands on, no matter howhard I tried. And the seats are in a really good location in Section A!
The auditorium was divided into four sections: A, B, C, and D. Section A had the best seats in the
house. Tickets for regular seats were already hard to come by, but the ones for Section A were even
rarer and, not to mention, so much more expensive!
You may not get to buy these tickets even if you can afford them.
With trembling hands, Silas accepted the two tickets, his face lighting up as if he had just received a
precious gem. “Thank you, Ms. Berry!” he exclaimed.

Silas didn't know how he even managed to return to his office with a bewildered look and a silly smile
on his face.
At this moment, all those colleagues who had been fighting tooth and nail for two group match tickets
also returned, utterly drenched in sweat.
The colleague who had secured two group match tickets boasted to Silas, “Look! These tickets are
ours now!”
“By the way, Silas, have you finished mowing the lawn?”
Silas casually waved his tickets at them. “Oh, I've got tickets too.”
“The day you get tickets would be when the sun rises from the west!” someone mocked him.
“My tickets are real,” Silas scoffed, rolling his eyes. “Come see them for yourself if you don't believe
me.”Immediately, a few colleagues gathered around. Upon noticing that the tickets in his hand were for the
finals, the two colleagues slated to watch the group matches suddenly found their own tickets less
appealing.
“Where did you get them from?”
“Did you get them from mowing the lawn?”
“Tell us, Silas!”
“Ms. Berry gave them to me,” Silas admitted, feeling slightly embarrassed. He usually had a good
relationship with a colleague named Andy Weston, so he gave one of his tickets to him. “Let's watch
the match together.”
Andy felt as though he had just hit the jackpot. “Are you really giving this to me?”
“Who else would I give it to if not you?” Silas grinned so hard that he couldn't close his mouth.
At that very moment, Sabrina also arrived at the office, taking in the whole scene.
A look of disdain flashed in her eyes. “Gee, I wonder how some people got their tickets! Mine were
given to me by Brianna Jackovich, my best friend and also the number one socialite in Maredania!
She's also rumored to be Trevor Oates' girlfriend.”
“Why don't you ask Ms. Jackovich for two more tickets for the finals, Ms. Gray?” Silas suggested
deliberately. “There shouldn't be a problem, right?”
Sabrina's face clouded over in an instant. It was true that she and Brianna were best friends, but the latter considered herself the top socialite of
Maredania and someone of noble status, so she always felt she was better than everyone else.
Sabrina would pretend that everything was fine and dandy, but in reality, her relationship with Brianna
was nothing more than a facade.
In fact, Brianna had given her these two tickets as though they were mere trash.
