Chapter 1233Chapter 1233 How Is It Possible
Athena Mother and Child Protection Association...
The President was left dazed by Ashlyn's words. How did she manage to bring up that association
again as soon as she started speaking?
What on earth is going on? Isn't this woman the chairman of Centennial Healthcare? How did she get
involved with that association?
For reasons unknown, a sense of foreboding suddenly arose in the President's heart.
He had heard for a while now that the president of that certain protection association was quite elusive.
Could the mysterious person be this woman right before my eyes? Really?
The President nearly choked on his own frustration.
It can't be. It just can't... There's no way her reach could extend all the way to Zaewora.
“President Berry, my father has always been stubborn. He simply doesn't want to see the status of us
women improve. You don't need to waste your words on him.”
Just then, Yuri spoke softly to Ashlyn, her tone filled with disdain for the President.
The President's mind was a complete blank.
President... President... She is actually the president of the protection association.
“No... It can't be!” The President's eyes were bloodshot, filled with burst red veins, struggling to accept
the reality before him.How can a woman possibly become a Chairman? How can a woman brazenly hold the position of vice
president in six different places? How can a woman extend her reach to Zaewora and establish some
sort of protection association? How can there possibly be such an incredible woman? There must be
some mistake, this woman must be pretending on purpose.
The President simply could not accept this reality.
He looked down on women, seeing them merely as tools. How could women possibly compare to
men? Not in terms of ability, intelligence, or even physical strength...
No! It can't be!
Just as he was feeling dizzy and unwilling to accept this reality, he saw Ashlyn not far away, laughing
with exceptional elegance and dominance. With a wave of her hand, she said, “My dear members, isn't
it time to greet the President?”
At the banquet, many women began to stand up one after another.
Then, in unison, they said to the President, “Nice to meet you, Ms. Berry! Nice to meet you, President!”
The President lifted his head, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at these women. Some were the
wives of his officials, some were the wives of major corporate bosses... even some of the reporters on
the scene, and some were the waitstaff at the banquet...
They had infiltrated the entire banquet hall. He couldn't believe that they were all members of Athena.
How could this be? Since when did Athena started to grow and develop to the extent we see today?
He stepped back in shock, staring unbelievably at the scene before him.
“You... you... how is this possible?”Just then, three female chefs dressed in kitchen uniforms rushed over upon hearing the news. They
respectfully said to Ashlyn, “Greetings, Ms. Berry. Greetings, President. We might be late, but we will
never be absent.”
Ashlyn nodded approvingly at them, then turned her attention to the President. “The power of women
may arrive late, but it will never be absent. I hope Mr. President will remember what I said today.”
The President looked at her, his face deathly pale. His lips trembled incessantly, yet he couldn't utter a
single word.
His heart was pounding fiercely, almost as if it was about to leap out of his throat.
After a long pause, he finally spoke in a voice that sounded as if he wished he could disappear into a
crack in the ground, “I-I have no objections. How could there possibly be any? In the future... we must
vigorously protect women and children. We can't let these vulnerable groups suffer any harm.”
He had no idea what he was saying as if his soul had been sucked away... He was unconsciously
uttering words that he himself didn't understand.
Ashlyn's voice was resounding and powerful, striking his heart fiercely!
“May the President remember the words you've spoken today. Everyone present here... we are all
witnesses!”
The President looked at her with a pale face, unable to utter a single word.
Everything he said was against his will, yet he had no choice but to speak.Th€ connection to th€ §ource of thïš dat@ r€§t$ in n0v3lebook
