Chapter 1201Chapter 1201 Stall For Time
If he could, he would have done it a long time ago, and they wouldn't need a layperson like Ashlyn to
come.
Sabrina's gaze turned icy cold, and her voice carried a frosty edge. “If you can't handle it, then just stay
out of it and keep quiet. Don't disturb Ms. Berry!”
With that, Sabrina redirected her attention to Ashlyn, her tone brimming with trust. “Ms. Berry, what are
your thoughts? Can you assist us?”
“Let me give it a try.” Ashlyn immediately started typing on the keyboard.
Everyone waited in hushed anticipation, their breath seemingly held in suspension. Each passing
minute and second felt like an eternity.
Five minutes had passed, and Ashlyn's fingers continued to dance tirelessly across the keyboard. Her
fair and slender digits typed out various codes without pause.
The strings of code appeared to soar, leaving onlookers' eyes momentarily dazzled.
Initially, Sabrina and Silas could follow what she was doing, but after a while, they exchanged puzzled
glances, growing utterly perplexed.
This new energy operating system was developed by the technical department, but now, they, as the
inventors, realized their knowledge wasn't sufficient. They failed to comprehend what they themselves
created.
In recent years, with the emergence of new energy vehicles and other related projects, many had come
to depend on this potent new energy operating system. This system underwent an upgrade annually, and the enhancements made this year were notably
substantial.
Unexpectedly, they found themselves unable to comprehend it.
“Ms. Berry... are you resolving it?” Silas asked cautiously, thinking he shouldn't pretend to understand
when he had no idea what was going on.

beneath her eyelids.
“Give me another twenty minutes, and it should be okay.”
Twenty minutes? Sabrina was shocked.
Everyone was similarly stunned.
Just then, Sabrina's phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was Spencer. Quickly, she
answered it. “Hello? Mr. White?”
Spencer's voice carried a trace of impatience as he urgently inquired, “Ms. Gray, what's going on? It's
almost our turn to go on stage. Where is everyone? Why haven't you arrived yet?”
Sabrina frowned. “Mr. White, can you help us stall for thirty minutes? We've got an issue here. Ms.
Berry is dealing with it and it might take about ten minutes. Plus, we'll need another ten minutes to get
to the venue. So...”
Spencer was perplexed. “What's the issue? Why do you need Ms. Berry's assistance?”
Sabrina took a deep breath. “It's a long story, but solving the problem at hand is more important right
now. Please, I need your help to buy us some time. We'll be there as soon as possible.”With that, she disconnected the call without waiting for Spencer's response. She wasn't in the mood to
converse with Spencer at all. Her full attention was dedicated to the computer and to Ashlyn.
Spencer stared in surprise at his disconnected phone, a faint frown creasing his brow.
I should inform Mr. Nolan of this first.
Meanwhile, in the hotel's meeting room, ten minutes had elapsed, but Ashlyn still hadn't said or done
anything to indicate that the problem was solved.
Everyone stared intently at her, their eyes wide.
Silas took a deep breath, his demeanor displaying a hint of agitation. “Ms. Berry... if we can't resolve
this issue, our public hearing will have to be canceled. This would result in a negative aftermath, and
the entire Section Six will incur significant losses...”
Those experts and professors were likely to be disappointed in Section Six and might not be willing to
collaborate with them in the future. At that point, not only would Lucas be angry and disappointed, but
they themselves wouldn't be able to forgive themselves either.
Section Six had undoubtedly exceeded global standards in new energy, and H Nation had thrived in the
realm of electricity. They had employed their resources judiciously, but if they were to mishandle
everything and bring it all to ruin, Silas couldn't bear to contemplate the consequences.
“Silas, what's the point of saying all this now?” Sabrina interjected, suppressing all the frustration
welling up within her. “Our only option now is—”
