Chapter 1128Chapter 1128 Clay Dolls

As soon as Spencer, Lucas, and Ashlyn finished their meal and returned to Section Six, they saw a taxi

coming to a halt before them. Next, they saw Cassandra getting out of the car.

As the driver was about to get out of the car to help her with her luggage, everyone saw the young lady

confidently lift her own suitcase. She flashed a grin at the driver, saying, “I can handle it myself.”

Spencer was taken aback. How did Cassandra get here? H-How did she end up here?

Ashlyn got out of the car and went straight to Cassandra. “The plane is right on time. Let's go.”

Cassandra greeted with a cheerful grin. “Boss, it's been a while.”

Ashlyn raised an eyebrow. “It hasn't been that long.”

Spencer drove into Section Six, and his heart pounded wildly. He steadied his breath before stepping

into the grand hall.

There, he saw Cassandra pulling one beautifully wrapped gift box after another out of her suitcase.

“This one's for you, Boss. This one's for Mr. Nolan. This one's for...”

Cassandra swept her gaze across the hall and landed on Spencer, who had just stepped in. “This is for

you, Woody.”

W-Woody? Why did she call me that? Spencer was baffled. “These two are for Mr. Joseph and Lottie. Aren't they at Section Six?” Cassandra asked Ashlyn in

confusion.

“No. They are staying in a hotel.” Ashlyn curled her lips. “You said you were going to a training camp.

You've seen me now, so when are you going back?”

“The Winter Games are about to begin with the training camp located near the event venue.”

Cassandra sighed and continued, “It's so annoying. I'm even considering retirement.”

“Do it, then. It's not like you won't have anything to do after you retire,” Ashlyn said languidly. “I just

don't know if the state team will be willing to let you go.”

Spencer held his gift in his hands. Although the gift box was light, it felt as heavy as a truck.

He took a deep breath and opened it to find a little clay figure inside. The tiny clay figure was strikingly

similar to him, whether in expression or attire. Even the gestures were similar.

Besides, it seemed like the action took place in the disaster area. At that time, he was holding a shovel

in his hand and digging through the mud.

Spencer was rendered speechless. Must it be that action? I don't even know if I should laugh or cry.

Spencer then saw that Lucas had also opened his own box, and it seemed to contain a clay figure as

well.

Originally, Spencer was quite touched because he thought Cassandra made a clay figure for him. When he saw that Ashlyn's and Lucas' gift boxes also contained clay figurines... He knew Joseph and

Charlotte were also receiving the same gifts. These clay figures are mass-produced, huh? What else

sets them apart from the differences in size and shape?

There and then, Spencer's heart broke.

Ashlyn held her little clay doll in her hands, looking it over from left to right. She noticed it was

extremely small, even sporting a tiny bun hairstyle. No matter how she looked at it, there were some

differences between the doll and her own appearance.

“Who is this supposed to look like?” Ashlyn asked.

Cassandra hopped toward Ashlyn and grinned. “Mmph! My goddaughter!”

“Why are you giving it to me, then?” Ashlyn raised an eyebrow, and there was a hint of mischief in her

tone.

“Are you genuinely naive or just pretending to be?” Cassandra smirked. “This is my future goddaughter,

and the one in Mr. Nolan's hands is my future godson. Haha!”

How dare she urge me to have a baby? Ashlyn's calm face turned reddish. “You're so shameless!”

At first, Lucas felt that the little clay boy doll in his hand was somewhat out of sync with his personality. These figurines are cute! Having a son and a daughter would be nice. In fact, it would be even better if

we could have a pair of twins!

The more Lucas thought about it, the more he liked his gift. His gaze was burning as he stared at

Ashlyn, and in a hoarse voice, he said, “Placing them on the shelf in our room would be nice.”
