Chapter 1125Chapter 1125 Movie
Silas then gazed at Sabrina mockingly. “Ms. Gray, in the future, it's better to understand the situation
before admitting to it. Otherwise, it can be quite a slap in the face.”
Sabrina's face was as pale as a sheet, tinged with a hint of lividness. Today, I'm utterly humiliated by
Ashlyn. To make matters worse, Silas is laughing at me!
Sabrina was enraged.
However, she took a deep breath and squeezed out a smile. “How can you say that? It's just a
misunderstanding. That's all.”
Silas also smiled. “Ms. Gray, you really know how to save yourself from embarrassment.”
Ashlyn had no interest in watching their verbal spar. “I'll take my leave first.”
Lucas gently wrapped his arm around her slender waist. “Let's go. The movie is about to start.”
Movie? Upon hearing his words, almost everyone present was stunned. Does Mr. Nolan, a workaholic,
actually go to the cinema to watch movies? Is there some kind of mistake?
Ashlyn nodded. “I'm not sure if the movie is going to be good or not.”
“If you think it'll be too noisy, I can book the whole place. What do you think?” Lucas asked. “Let's not do that. Watching a movie is truly meaningful only when we watch it together with everyone,”
Ashlyn replied.
“Let's go.”
Everyone listened as the voices of the two gradually faded into the distance.
Sabrina was so furious that her eyes were bulging, almost popping out of their sockets. Is Mr. Nolan
actually going to the cinema to watch a movie with that woman? Is Mr. Nolan really doing such a petty
thing with her? Isn't the private cinema in Section Six amazing?
The car smoothly pulled into the underground parking lot of the movie theater.
The three of them took the elevator straight to the fifth floor.

The two of them were seated at the front. Ashlyn was on the right side of Lucas, offering him the
popcorn she held in her hands. Without any hesitation, Lucas declined.
Ashlyn thought popcorn was pretty good because it was part of the fun of watching a movie.
The movie was about to start, and the lights in the cinema hall went out, plunging the room into instant
darkness.
Immediately after, a very eerie sound of strong wind began to howl. Ashlyn almost choked on her popcorn. Somewhat speechless, she turned to the man next to her and
asked, “What movie tickets did you buy?”
Lucas remained very calm. “It's the highest-grossing and best-selling.”
Ashlyn felt that something was amiss.
Next, there was a knock at the door, followed by the sound of hurried footsteps running.
No actors were present, just an endless corridor and the sound of frantic footsteps.
Accompanied by a thunderous noise, a blood-soaked skull suddenly smashed into the large screen.
Ashlyn finally understood what was going on. This man had brought me to watch a horror movie!
Several loud screams echoed around, primarily coming from the female spectators.
“D-Do you actually enjoy watching horror movies?” she asked.
Lucas looked at her. “I thought you liked it.”
Who the hell likes it? Ashlyn was speechless. “I really want to watch a romance movie.”
Lucas reached out and embraced her. “It's okay. Horror movies are great too. They can enhance the
bond between couples.”
“This isn't comfortable. It's affecting my movie-watching experience.” Ashlyn gave him a shove. T-This is completely different from what I imagined! Spencer clearly checked on Google, and it said if
you take your girlfriend to watch a horror movie, she will snuggle up to you like a little bird seeking
comfort. When that happens, it's time to show off your skills as a boyfriend. I was supposed to figure
out how to embrace and comfort her. How am I supposed to do that now? Lucas was puzzled.
Lucas saw his wife engrossed in watching something, occasionally commenting, “The position of the
neck in this death scene is incorrect. In such a situation, the neck should be twisted in the opposite
direction. This director really doesn't understand human anatomy. This blood is so fake. It's obviously
just raspberries thrown in, not plasma at all! Even red dye would have been better!”
